I haven't visited this zoo in over 30 years and was impressed with how visitor friendly it is. It is very hilly and there are buses and carts available to assist those less mobile (like myself). The exhibits are very open and the animals are easily able to be seen (if they want to be), and you can have different experiences (a behind the scenes tour) if you would like that. It is good to see the preservation of endangered species of both flora and fauna being researched. The pandas were amazing!! A good days outing.

What a great day my family had! So much to see...lions, tigers and bears, oh my! We spent over 8 hours at the zoo and are planning to go again soon. Great day out for everyone, young and old in our family! Thanks Viator!!!

We had a great time at the Zoo! It was lightly raining as we weren't sure if we were going to see that many animals, but the exact opposite occurred and we got to see a lot of animals that normally only come out at night but were out because of the rain. There were also few people there so we got to get up close to a lot of the animals and see the trainers feeding the lions and polar bears without any crowds! So don't be afraid of a little light rain!

good value for money hotel_br/_ close to train station and cbd and seaworld, zoo etc_br/_ free shuttle to attractions and airport and train was great and on time when they said it would be_br/_ easy check-in/out_br/_ inhouse restaurant was a little limited in choice and a little pricey but other than that a good place to stay with young kids/family_br/_ would stay again

Taking the tour helped to determine what to see because it was warm and several animals were either inside or sleep. Additionaly, the zoo is very hilly, so using the safari tram worked well as well. The best show was the in the Manderina Rain Forest. A must see.

San Diego Zoo was disappointing. We have been to many zoo's in our time. Tarongo Zoo in Sydney, Singapore Zoo and Australia Zoo are much more diverse and pituresque. We did not even stay for the full day we were so unimpressed.

Great experience. Took grandma, myself, and my son who is 3, and we all had a great day. The zoo is a typical zoo, all the animals you'd expect. But the exhibits are well done and definitely a step above a normal zoo. Definitely worthwhile if you have a kid like mine who loves animals.

I was a little dubious about buying these tickets ahead of time based on the comments about getting cheaper tickets on the day at the gate, so we were pleasantly surprised that the price we paid was exactly the price at the zoo itself. And we were able to avoid one of the ticket lines by booking ahead. So we definitely recommend this service.

San Diego Zoo is very deserving of its reputation as one of the world's best zoos, and it makes a great trip out from LA. This ticket is ideal, too, as you get to experience the cable car and really appreciate the size and layout of the place.

Everyone knows the zoo in San Diego is top rated. You can see many of the animals from the comfort of a bus and save your feet. The nearby IMAX dome theater in the Fleet Science Center is also not to be missed.

This zoo is the best. I can't imagine anyone visiting San Diego for any length of time and not visiting it. Checking in with the vouchers was completely easy - thanks, Viator, for the reminders to print them! We used the aerial tram and the buses, which provided good overviews.

We had a fabulous time, but not enough time. Next year we're planning to spend the whole day at the zoo.
