2-Day Yosemite National Park Tour from San Francisco

San Francisco, United States of America

Escape to the mountains for two full days of hiking, sightseeing and exploring in the amazing natural wilderness of Yosemite National Park. On this overnight tour, you will trek through Yosemite Valley, the High Country, Giant Sequoias, and relax in the the comfort of your own bed, spending the night in a hotel surrounded by the beautiful National Forest.

On this tour of Yosemite National Park from San Francisco, you'll have two days to explore, giving you more time and flexibility to see all the sights. Your driver guide will provide valuable knowledge of the history of Yosemite and a more personal experience of the park throughout your trip.

In the summertime (April through October), the two days in Yosemite National Park are divided between the Yosemite Valley and the High Country. Your guide stays with you at the hotel providing information and advice to help you get the most out of your time in the park. In the valley, you will explore and photograph famous highlights such as Yosemite Falls (the tallest waterfall in North America), El Capitan, Half Dome, Bridalveil Fall, and Inspiration Point.

The High Country portion of the tour includes a hike among the Giant Sequoias, and a trip to Glacier Point. In addition to the spectacular views from Glacier Point itself, you can take a hike to the top of Sentinel Dome or to Taft Point.

During winter (November through March), the guided portion of the tour is on the first day only, leaving the second day entirely yours to do as you please. Witness Yosemite Valley blanketed in snow and the magnificent Yosemite and Bridalveil Falls coated in ice. Hike along the valley floor, join a Ranger program or enjoy a warm drink by the fire at the Ahwanee Hotel - the choice is entirely up to you!

Your visit to Yosemite concludes between 3:00pm and 4:00pm on day two, with the vans arriving back in San Francisco at approximately 9:00pm. Slip away to Yosemite park for two full days of fun and exploration!

Was great 2 go with "Incredible adventurs", and the guide Thom 2 a 2 day in Yosemite through Viator. Van with 13 pasangers, more personal then Grey line buses i went as well (3 tours: Carmel/Monterey, Muir wood/Soselito and The Sonoma/Napa valies). Also the guide is better. If i knew before i would all the tours with Incredible Adventures. Thom enabeled each of the traveler 2 do activity suited his/hers capabilities.

This was a great way to see the park and avoid the parking/driving congestion. It was a good balance of free time to explore and guided activity.

It was a nice trip, the tour guide was great, caring and knowledgeable; very accurate in timing control thus enable us to visit all the planned destinations. We enjoyed the whole trip.

Well organised, extremely knowledgable guide. Great scenery but the sheer numbers of people there each day make the possibilities of any wildlife viewing very limited when roads are closed due to weather conditions.

The trip was great and our guide made all possible in her possibilities to enjoy the trip despite not lucky weather conditions (especially the first day). It was quite surprising to find the level of the hotel stay pretty high, maybe could be useful to know that it will not be a refugee and you do not need a sleeping bag and other basic equipment. I would suggest the tour operator to group persons by their "exploring" wishes and level of activity. In our case it was quite clear that some of the participants would not have left the van at all, while others would have enjoyed to walk/hike more. It could also be very useful to know updated conditions at the park a couple of days before the tour, especially in the border line periods, when you could find snow and ice on the tracks.

Well, Yosemite is stunning, that's what counts. However, Viador offers you nothing more than a van trip, go and back. The guide tells you unimportant information on the way, leaves you there at lunch (1:30pm) 1st day in Yosemite, comes back (another guy) lunch (3:30 pm) 2nd day. Both want tips (5 dollars minimum), which I find ridiculous, since you are already paying 200 quids for this ride. The hotel is cute (the room is clean and spacious with an 80's style) but it is well off the park, and it takes about 1 full hour with public transport (running every 2 hours) to get there (Yosemite Valley) the morning of the 2nd day. Since they leave you alone the first day, you loose all the commodity of having easy transport and a guide showing you around Yosemite. So, there is no guidance after all, the hotel is out of the way, though nice, and you have to take public transport to get from Yosemite (1st day) to your hotel and back (2nd day): they pay you this trip, which is 4 bucks one-way anyway (nothing really). My suggestion is rent a car, book the hotel, and do it yourself, it would be much cheaper...at the end, we have chosen this trip because we expected full guidance/service and we were left alone, making the whole Viador experience nothing more than a van ride. I believe for the one day trip the service offered would be enough, but definitely it is not for the two days trip. Regarding Yosemite, you should definitely go, it is a beautiful and amazing place where you will feel the true, and forgotten, power of nature.

Tour was good but there is lack of clarity on the itinerary, what is included and what not._br/_ For instance I spent the night outside of the valley, having to take a regular bus 40' down the valley while by the itinerary explanation it seemed that accommodation was in the same valley._br/_ Same happens with the trip which seems to be fully guided while in fact you have spare time (at least in winter)._br/_ My recommendation is to clarify the itinerary and palce to sleep before booking.

Absolutely outstanding. The guide knew his stuff and put in far more than required. We didn't have dinner until 9pm because he took us to see much more than we had planned, which was brilliant. On the second day, didn't get back to SF until about 10pm for the same reason. The accommodation was wonderful as well - very comfortable. There were things to choose from and the guide included us decisions on things to do - there were 7 in total and we were able to help tailor the trip to all of our needs and wants. Highly recommend this trip.

Simply stunning. Yosemite is a must see, and this is definitely the right tour to go on. Lots of fun, informative and extremely accommodating. In such a short time, it covers all the major sights in the park. I've done loads of tours, this was the best by a long shot. Do it, do it, do it!

This trip was fantastic and excellent value. The pick up from the hotel was on time and everything operated really efficiently. Our guide was excellent and lots of fun. The hotel we stayed at in the park was more than adequate and we were blessed with good weather for spring and a nice group. I definitely would like to return and do a camping trip to get a different type of experience.

Great value. The driver was punctual, informative, considerate and cheerful. Accommodation was pleasant. The walk down from glacier point 7300ft, it was breathtaking! Beautiful scenery, flora and fauna alike. I thoroughly recommend the excursion.

Seeing the climbing on El Capitan is magnificent. If you saw the wild animals it would be over the top. I think it would be more spectacular if all the water wasn't dried up. Tour guide is good.

Our guide was patient with our abilities. He gave us plenty of time to stop and rest as we climbed the trail the first day. There was time to do our own thing on the second day. The sights were beautiful and we truly enjoyed the other family that was with us. It was great! The only thing that I would suggest is that there be a first aid kit available as I took a fall on the trail and there was no kit available.

The tour operator needs to tell people it's a four hour trip to the park and four back. If we had stayed in the park longer, it would keep us off the road a bit. The tour operator should also tell people how steep the hike to the big trees is. The guide was very informative and nice.

If you are going to take an excursion to Yosemite this is a very good way of doing it. It's a long drive to the park from San Francisco, so a one day trip would not let you see or do much. But this tour - which includes a one night stay at the Cedar Lodge motel 5 miles outside the park - gives enough time to get a feel for the place. The guide lets you have as much or as little support as you want - he'll arrange things if asked, or leave you to your own devices if you'd prefer that - so it should suit most people.

Firstly, I'd like to say that Viator is a trusted site. I only chanced upon your site through the internet search. Your responsiveness to my queries is commendable! Secondly, both the tour companies were simply great!_br /__br /_Well, for the Yosemite Tour, we were very fortunate to have our guide throughout. He was simply fantastic! He showed and recommended beautiful views. If not for his enthusiasm and in-depth knowledge, we believe we would not have truly appreciated the inner beauty of the Park. To sum it up, we had a very memorable trip to Yosemite Park.
