A jam packed day but worthwhile, great guides, Alcatraz was the highlight and in hindsight would of done Muir Woods and Alcatraz and saved Sausalito for another trip so could of had more time there

I've done this tour twice in 1 year, first with my husband and spent a romantic day together, then with my mom and we had a great family time. Don't forget your camera. Take a jacket to Muir Woods, it's cold! I recommend not to have lunch in Sausalito as the tour guide suggests, because the time is reduced. Alcatraz is a must-see for any tourist. Great staff, comfy bus with free wi fi and lots of fun.

Coach arrived on time with a very nice chatty driver. We thought he was going to be our guide for the day, but we were driven to the office and transferred to another smaller coach, which wasn´t as nice. The driver /guide Troy was very pleasant and gave us good explanations along the route with some humorous comments. Muir Woods was lovely and we would have liked more time there. We did not have much time in Sausalito. We were driven back to the Office where people were dropped off and those going to Alcatraz were taken down to the Port and left to make their own way over on the timed tickets, which meant we could not get an earlier ferry. The tour in Alcatraz was tiring but interesting. On our return we again had to wait for a bus to collect us, take us back to the office, wait, change buses before being taken back to our hotels

A great experience. Our guide / Todd provided lots of info as we drove to Muir Woods and Sausalito.The only drawback was the short time_br/_ in Sausalito. The ferry back to Pier 39 was relaxing._br/_ The audio Alcatraz tour was the best part._br/_ Highly recommended!

Great tour. Unfortunately it was raining at the Muir Woods, but it was still spectacular. We saw a few interesting things at Sausalito, only need about an hour there to get a bite to eat and Alcatraz was amazing. We had an excellent tour guide named "Steve". He was very knowledgeable about the city and had a great sense of humour. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Loved this trip! Doug was our driver and he is simply wonderful! Very knowledgeable, personable and just a great all-around trip. Muir Woods is spectacular, Sausalito is a wonderful little shore town where we had lunch and admired the art galleries, etc., and Alcatraz was definitely a new experience! Great tour, and, again, Doug is a phenomenal driver and guide, and is this company's definite asset!!!

Audio system on bus could be better, as it was pretty muffled and I couldn't catch most of the words my tour guide was saying. Other than that, great and friendly tour guide. Too little time given in Sausalito, I only managed to have a very rushed lunch there :( I would've loved to see more, but I had to go for the Alcatraz Tour.

It was a enjoyable trip and we were fascinated by the Alcatraz audio tour. The only drawback was we were supposed to be picked up 5:30pm at Pier 35, but the bus failed to turn up. We rang the office and were picked up an hour later (cold and dark).

It was an excellent day with you people, especially under the thorough and enternaining guidance performed by Troy, our guide. First the Muir woods and then Sausalito, in a beautiful morning. His tips were very enlightning. After a stroll and light lunch in Sausalito we were taken to the pier for the Alcatraz visit, which was also smooth and recreative. The bus driver was curt, verging on rude, but as Muir Woods and Sausalito are self-guided tours, it didn't matter. The Giant Redwoods are a spectacular sight and Sausalito is very picturesque. Alcatraz was a self-guided tour too, one which I would recommend to anyone. The audio guide is indispensable and very informative. I was most impressed.

This is a poorly organized trip. We were out of the hotel 12 hours for a one and a half hour tour of Alcartaz, a one hour visit to Muir woods and one hour in Sausilito. We were collected at the hotel at 8.15 taken to Super Sightseeing Offices where we had to queue for our ticket only to be told that we had to wait for an hour there and then get on a bus to the pier to get the 10 30 boat to Alcartaz. We then had to be back at the drop off point at 1.30 to go back to the office to Queue again. The bus was late and then we also had at least Three quarters of an hour at the offices before we set off for Muir woods. It was 3 00 by then. We arrived for the final visit to Sausilito at 4.45 for an hour . We were so late by then we got in all the traffic and didn't get to hotel until 7.30 pm. We paid £50 each it was not good value for the amount of time spent waiting and queueing. It is much better to get your own tiket to Alcatraz as one and a half hours is not enough time to see it all .We were exhausted by the end of the day and we are very fit. A totally disappointing day and very fustrating as well . Atrip with viator not to be recommended!!!!!!!

It was raining that morning but cleared off quickly. The redwoods weren't what we were expecting but were still majestic. The park and facilities are well kept. Shuttle driver to Muir Woods, Sausalito and Alcatraz was very polite and informative. Although it takes approx. 8 to 9 hours of your day, it is worth the time and money. About an hour is alloted for lunch in Sausalito if you start out in Muir Woods. It's across the bridge and nearby if you want to go back another day to do some shopping or site seeing. Alcatraz has sloped walkways that can tire unfit visitors but there are places along the way to the building entrance on top of the island to stop and catch your breath. It's worth the time to get to the main building and none of the staff rush you through the entire tour. It is at your own pace and you can pause the listening device at any time and continue when you're ready. Sound effects are an excellent accompaniment to the narration. Very educational day indeed!

My only complaint was I was told to be at the office at 8:40, and my bus did not leave until 9:45. Everything else was wonderful, especially the tour bus driver. He was extremely knowledgeable about the city and dropped all the tourists off at their hotels. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see a little more of the outdoors, Muir Woods is definitely something you don't want to miss!

Going to see A;catraz is a must do for those visiting San Francisco. This portion of the tour was very well-organized. We enjoyed the visit to the serene redwoods of Muir Woods. The stop in Sausalito was okay. We only had less than an hour to get lunch and walk along the pier. We felt rushed. Of course the beginning of the trip was a little disorganized waiting for everyone to get to the appointed start place, but after that it was a wonderful day.

We had a wonderful tour guide who was very funny and gave us some great information. Everything ran smoothly from our hotel pick up to our cruise over to Alcatraz. It was great to have the guide but then to also go off and do your own things. Highly reccomend a burger from Hamburgers in Sausalito!

Good trip - Muir woods lovely and very peaceful good start to the day. Sausilito excellent wished we had booked our stay here but did not get enough time to look around_br/_ Alcatraz tour good make sure the coach driver gives you a time and place for pick up as told us 5.00pm and we rushed back but told others 5.30pm which was when we came and then we had to go to the office to be allocated to coaches so did not leave until after 6pm

The Muir woods walk was very relaxing after being in a city for a while. Very peaceful too. Sausalito is quaint and you get long enough to have lunch and get a feel for the place, and you can return easily on the ferry from San Francisco if you want too.The Alcatraz tour was great. The audio tour brought the place to life and was a great way to hear all the fact instead of just listening to a guide. Take a jacket though windy and cold out in the bay!!!

I loved Muir Woods, even in the rain. Sausalito was too short but you must eat at Hamburgers best ever hamburger. Alcatraz was amazing...loved the whole day.
