It was a great trip with a great driver/personality. Muir Woods is wonderful (but the road up is scarey!!- I don't like heights). Sonoma Valley and Napa Valley are beautiful, and the people at the Winerys were very friendly. Our driver told us about a great place to eat lunch (Sunflower Cafe with a roast duck sandwich, etc. -- and it was delicious!) All in all it was a beautiful trip on a beautiful, sunny day! Thank you.

Our guide, Ben was wonderful and very knowledgeable, and the bus was very comfortable and clean. Our tour was great, but I felt that we were hurried through the Muir woods. We couldn't go as far as suggested on the paths (it was corded off before we reached the 4th bridge) and still we had to hurry back to the bus to make it on time. And I SO hated to hurry through those majestic trees! The wine tour was very nice, but it got a bit long at the last winery. I would have rather spent that time in the beautiful Muir woods. If you stop for lunch at Sonoma, be sure to have the duck sandwich at the Sunflower cafe!

This is a wonderful, relaxing tour! Muir Woods is beautiful and a great for peace and quiet. The Wine Country tour was also excellent. Andy, our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and about wines. Thanks to Andy we knew what to expect at each winery where we stopped for tastings. We also enjoyed our lunch in Sonoma. A stop at the Golden Gate Bridge was a perfect ending for this relaxing day.

For the most part, the tour was great. It's a smaller group size, which is nice. In one of the wineries we went to, the guy spent more time talking about the wine making process and trying to sell their wine club, instead of letting us taste the wines. We had to rush through it, because we had to leave by a certain time to get to the next winery on time. Muir Woods was great - could have used an extra 30-45 minutes to take in the beauty! Overall, this trip is definitely worth the money.

We had a wonderful time. It was relaxing, fun, and the weather that day was beautiful. Our tour guide, Frank, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Everything went very smothly and on schedule. We felt like we got our money's worth especially since everyone was on time so we got a little extra tour of San Francisco!

Muir Woods was great. Not much of a Wine Country Tour. We went to two wineries that were owned by the same company and were across the street from each other. Large commercial wineries are not for me. The tastings were compementry anyway. So when it says the tasting fees are included in your package, they were free anyway. We had a better time in the two hours we had in the town square area on our own to explore.

Muir Woods is beautiful, as is Sonoma. This tour may have been better if not for our tour guide. Our party of 3 were disappointed in her lack of effort, but the scenery was terrific as were the tastings we uncovered (since we were left to find our own).

beautiful woods. didn't like the wineries' wine or the fact that they didn't offer bread, crackers, etc. in between tastings. wish i would have gone to napa instead.

A great tour - it combined two activities we wanted to enjoy while in San Francisco for just a couple of days. The driver was cheerful, knowledgeable, and (importantly!!) a good driver. The time alotted at each location was sufficient - though a couple of passengers (the same two) were always 5 - 10 minutes late returning to the van. I think that fact should be addressed at the beginning of the tour, to minimize the impact on other passengers, especially as we ended up being about 30-40 minutes late returning to the Hotel. Overall, a great experience - the Woods are so beautiful, so majestic and serene, and the wine-tasting well-suited to red wine buffs. The stop in Sonoma for lunch was long enough - I recommend "Two Girls and a Fig" restaurant.

Enjoyed it very much. The pick up was timely and the tour guide was interesting. While not a huge deal, it would be good to clearly state that the entry fee to Muir Woods is not included. Since I have the Senior Citizens' pass to all National Parks, this was not a big deal to me or my wife (free), but the $12 fee for two people might be of interest to others. As always, we would recommend Viator as a convenient way to book tours; they have never let us down.

I highly recommend this tour to relax and bring in a breath of fresh air in anyones life. At the end of the tour my husband and I felt really good smelling those trees, vegetation and the peacefulness of the area. Thanks to the naturalist for preserving the sites for future generation. A must visit even for SF locals to distress and enjoy the beauty of their environment.

Had a great time on the Muir Woods and Sonoma tour. Pick-up was prompt and the driver, Mark I believe, was excellent. He was able to talk the whole trip about US and California history. He was also very thoughtful when he asked if anyone got motion sickness (there is a windy 4-mile stretch). _br/_ Good amount of time in Muir Woods, enough to stay on the main path but not enough time to explore the trails. Definitely had to keep an eye on the clock so that we did not go over the time limit. _br/_ Really enjoyed Jacuzzi winery and the town center of Sonoma, although wish we had a little more time in the town center for lunch and wine tasting. Cline winery was great too, lively atmosphere and lots of different wines to try. _br/_ All in all I strongly recommend this tour. Only draw-back is I wish we had some more time. Nothing felt rushed but a little extra time @ Muir Woods and Sonoma would have been nice. On the other hand we got back to the city by 6pm so we still had time for dinner out in the town (and we weren't exhausted from the tour). _br/_ Fantastic tour, fantastic tour guide.. go for it!

Worth the money and time. David our tour guide was experienced and quick to provide directions and tips about the area. Take his advice on food establishments to dine! Being picked up at my hotel went well and on time. The entire trip was fun and informativedown to the music played with lyrics tying the sites together. Be sure to allow money to tip the driver, The experience wouldn't come close to trying to go on your own.

Great tour guide - he was full of information and fun local trivia! Group size (~20 people) was not too large and we all fit comfortably on the bus. The wine portion did feel a bit rushed (only an hour per tasting) however getting 2 activities in 1 day is worth drinking my wine a bit faster than normal. Would do again! Lastly, we asked to be dropped off in Sausalito and our driver happily agreed - no problem. This trip felt customized to our needs.

This trip was exactly as advertised. Mark our tour guide was fantastic and provided a lot of history about Muir woods, and wine country. Our bus was full ~ 24 people. You only have about 50-60 minutes at each of 2 vinyards but it is plenty of time to view the fields and drink wine. Lunch was in a cute town with some more tastings you could purchase. Tour could be improved if all passangers had to meet at 2-3 pick up points.

This tour is excellent. not only did we see Muir Wood and Sonoma, we stopped at the Golden Gate Bridge along the way. Something we had done a few days before but was not impressed because of the fog. This trip is well worth the money, I would recommend it it to anyone who is visiting San Fran. Our tour guide Ben was lovely too, he knew more than just the basic facts and was very helpful. Great day out.

This was a great trip. The guide was excellent, and informed us well about everything. I have been on a lot of wine tours and this was one of the best... The quality of the wine at the Cline venue was obviously poor and cheap table wine but in the tasting room afterwards we had some good tastings.

This tour was a big disappointment. Viator offered this one through a firm called "Extranomical Tours" who fell very short of the mark. They oversold the tour and stuffed us into a dirty and noisy van, which was very uncomfortable for my parents, wife and I. As well, the tour guide was particularly unspectacular. The Muir Woods was beautiful, which is what earned the 2nd stay in my rating. But we only got to stay 1.5 hours. The two wineries we stopped at were nothing special and were subpar in comparison to previous vineyards I've been to via other "wineries" on similarly priced tours I've been on in Sonoma/Napa._br/_ If you are interested in a Muir Woods and Wine Country Tour, I'm certain that you would be better served by using your valuable dollars in using a different tour company. If you want a fantastic tour of San Francisco, I highly recommend Silver Lion Tours, which was hands down fantastic, personal and highly memorable.

Our tour guide was great, he was personable and informative. He gave us a brief tour of San Francisco before we headed to Muir Woods and Sonoma, which was a nice bonus! The woods were beautiful and Sonoma was even better. The great part about this tour is being able to drink wine and not have to drive. We went to Cline, Kunde, and Jacuzzi wineries. The wines were good at all three. The olive oil tasting at Jacuzzi was very good! You can't beat the pick up and drop off service from and to your hotel. There were 5 of us in our party and we had the van to ourselves.

All I can say is fabulous. This was a wonderful trip that was the best value for your dollar. The combined tour of Muir Woods and the wineries was a perfect day. Muir Woods was still so beautiful in the pouring rain. Just watch your watch, because the trails go on forever, and you have to make it back within an hour to the bus. The wineries were outstanding. They're boutique wineries, but they were awesome. Now, the best part of the trip was our driver. He was so insightful and made the trip so much more fun. I've done a few of the trips on Viator, and they've all been wonderful. Definitely do this one. Have fun!!!
