Have booked numerous transfers with Viator and have not been disappointed before. We went down to the lobby of our hotel 5mins before our scheduled pick up to find the shuttle leaving! The driver hadn't bothered to come into the hotel to ask for us. We managed to flag him down and were told he was leaving because we were 10mins late! He then proceeded to wait at another hotel for 15mins and finally after going in left without the pickup because they were not ready. Maybe it is this particular company as didn't have a good experience with our New York transfer either. Will not use them again.

Driver and van arrived late, did not help us with the luggage, was texting while driving, took us to the wrong departure gate at the airport, insisting that Virgin America was the same as Virgin Atlantic which it is not. Had to ask for directions to Virgin Atlantic. We were late for check in but luckily after we explained what had happened we were allowed to check in

Shuttle was late arriving to the hotel and driver had difficulty locating another client. In peak hour traffic earlier pickups should be given so clients feel a bit more at ease with plenty of time to check in at crowded airports.

My flight left much earlier than the others in the van - which added a bit of stress. Thankfully I had no luggage to check - I would NOT have had the requisite 45 minutes before flight time needed to have checked my bag.

As advised, I called the local van company 24 hours prior to the hotel pickup. The van was on time (within the 15 minutes of the pick up window), which was great. However, the van driver drove so fast most of the time, that I was fearful that we were going to have an accident. As it happened, the van was low on gas and the driver was afraid of running out of gas before arriving at the airport. However, it would have been better for all of us if he had gassed up the van prior to picking up passengers.

There was a mix up with the timing from the hotel that has to be fixed specifically in view of the fact that i phoned the call center as per the instructions and they still got it wrong. Instructions are n ot clear.
