You can hop on and off the tour as many times as you like aboard the open-top double-decker bus. In the summer, the top deck is open and in the winter, clear screens shelter you from the cold and offer unobstructed views of the city.

Very disapointed with the availability of buses to "hop on, hop off" as the tour describes. Buses were not on the schedule described and when they did come, there was not space available for our entire group to reboard. Asked two drivers to call the office to alert them of our situation and was told to keep waiting for another bus. Called the customer service line and only got a recording. There was no customer service available. Beware, if you are using this service for transportation from one location to another, you may not be able to "hop on" once you "hop off".

the buses are little bit old... also, it seems that there is another company that works with hop on hop off tours that have more stops and other routes (if I didn't hear wrong, I heard a guy from the other tour company saying to other two ladies that his company cross the Golden Gate Bridge and also goes to Sausalito.......I did not check if this information is true, but I would recommend you to check it before book the hop on hop off tour with Super Sightseeing company)

We usually enjoy doing this type of tour, but this one was disappointing. The driver/guide on the first bus we hopped on spoke so fast we couldn't understand him and soon lost interest as did many other people on the top level. We finally gave up and tried to switch to a different bus. The problem with this line is that they have fewer buses in operation so you have to wait longer for them, unfortunately at one point we ended up on the beginning bus again. This time we gave up and rode the cable car.. These buses also do not run as late as the other bus companies and so several people had problems getting back to their starting points.. We were also disappointed that the buses were not allowed in the park on Sundays and Golden Gate was closed because of a marathon at the time of our tour.. We would have liked to have known this prior to scheduling. Do the hop on hop off tour, but not on the blue buses.

Bus did not stop at locations posted on web paga. Had to walk 12 blocks to find nearest stop after call to office. Tour did not travel scenic route, mostly regular city streets. Tour guide (driver) was less than informed--gave wrong information and often seemed to be making stuff up as he went along. Buses were infrequent--long waits compared to competitors.

This tour offered a lot of places to see and explore. The 48 hour option would benefit those with more time. Unfortunately our tour guide was a bit over excitable and loud. We did not enjoy this part of the tour. Unfortunately, due to time constraits we could not get off the bus until the end again, so we had to listen to him for the entire ride. This definitely damped our spirits and enjoyment of the city.

It took us to all the spots we had intended to visit and were not sure how we would get there. We were given the wrong info on the last bus of the day. I called and was told a complete run was at 4:30 but the driver said it had left at 4PM, and we were disappointed and took the city bus instead.

As always, the HopOn HopOff bus trip was entertaining and efficient. At one point, we were rejoining the tour at a different place than where we got off. When the driver saw us waving the brochure as he came up the hill, he stopped for us, in spite of our not being at a proper stop. The commentary is entertaining, all together a good value. We lucked into 48 hours for the price of 24 which was even better!!

The explanations in the bus are, in general, superficial. The stops are good, but some of them, only related to consumption (Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39). Maybe I'm a bit spoiled by the "Explore Chicago Pass" (Here a suggestion aimed to the staff - compare services). But, in general, it worth going.

Loved having Willie for the driver. The audio alone is not nearly as good as having a "live" person. You need to pay Willie more. He's got to be worth his weight in gold! He made the tour so much more enjoyable and he told so much more than the audio alone.We did the tour two years ago and had a "live" person. The on our first day this year, we had the audio. This was not nearly as good!

The bus seats sweaked and the ride was like being on a roller coaster. I had a hard time taking pictures, by the time I'd set up we were alredy moving on. It was just an OK trip.

Was not very happy with some of the details - one of the stops was far away from the route but the description did not mention this detail, we had dificulties to find Palace of Fine Arts and we missed the bus trying to find the bus stop after visiting the palace; people that answered the phone in the tour office could not tell us if there were any more buses going our way.

the windows were too high for us to see out of, it rained and the seats were wet there was a leak somewhere, we were bus sick. The guide had a heavy latin accent which we did not understand very well

This is a great way to see the city. It's inexpensive, and it goes to all the highlights. However, it would have been nicer if it went closer to Lombard street than it did..we were so far away from it, that it was very hard to see the street. Otherwise, it is a very good tour!

It was wonderful. We got must-see places in San Francisco just in 2 hours including the Golden Gate bridge. However, we suggest to take a complete loop at first before planning to hop on or off, so we know the place where the bus stop will be. Otherwise it'll be confusing since there is no sign what so ever.

We really enjoyed the hop-on-hop-off bus - it made it so convenient to get around San Francisco. It was near our hotel, near the places we wanted to go, and it was a good way to see the sights with a knowledgeable tour guide. I think it was much preferable to having to rent a car! I will look for this in other places we visit in the future.
