Located about an hour outside of San Jose, Braulio Carrillo National Park is a site not to be missed. This large park is home to several dormant volcanoes and is one of the most bio diverse rainforests in Costa Rica.

After pickup from your hotel, you'll be on your way to the rainforest. Once you've arrive, you'll take a walk along forest trails where your bilingual guide will lead you to the awaiting aerial tram. You'll get the chance to explore the hanging gardens of the rainforest up close from the comfort and safety of the aerial tram.

Boring and Slow, if I would have known that the trip would have been slow and boring I wouldn't have picked it. Saw some animals and plenty of views of the rain-forest. Lunch was ok but you get what you pay for and lunch surrounded with mosquitoes.

Very nice people. Good content. The private reserve is beautiful. Good educational naturalists. Care give to your safety and to environmental preservation. We ate lunch in a jungle setting. A very pleasant day.

The pickup time turned out to be an hour later than posted, which was a minor irritation. However, the tour was very good. Our group of four loved it.

The entire trip was outstanding and enhanced by our guide on the bus and tram. However, the bus was stopped by the police on the return trip for not being properly authorized as a tourist vehicle, which caused a delay, meaning we had to deal with rush hour trafic in San Jose. The bus should have been properly licensed by the operator!
