Great tour. Francisco was our tour guide and he did a exceptional job on such a rainy day. He spoke from a high level of knowledge about San Jaun, P. R., and El Yunque. He even took us to a great place to eat in Rio Grande on our way back to SJ. The one thing I recommend doing is calling ahead to confirm your reservation one day in advance. Also keep the toll free number handy. we had to call on the day of our trip because our pick up time was late. And the local number we had for the tour guide was not in service. I ended up calling the 800 number and the had another number to contact the local tour company. They showed up about 30 minutes late. Other than this issue, I would use them again.

Our guide was great however I wasn't crazy about the tour. It was about an hour shorter than we were told and we barely got to get out of the van to see the rainforest. More walking and exploring would have been nice. It was ok but WAY too expensive for what we got.

After arriving in Puerto Rico on March 17th I had our hotel manager called to confirm place of pick up. It was confirmed. The next day we waited for one hour and the bus never _br/_ picked us up. When I called to find out where they were they said that they had gone to another location to pick us up. We wasted our entire morning waiting. They did accommodate us the next day and picked us us on time. The trip was just ok. We could not understand the tour guide and did not find him that knowledgeable. We did not see that much of the rainforest. We were stuck in traffic on the way back for 1 1/2 hours in a very hot van. Disappointed in the trip.

Tony, the tour guide was so personable and so knowledgable about Puerto Rico and the Rain Forest. I was reluctant to take the tour but after seeing all of nature and it's beauty,it was worth it. Awesome, awesome tour! Highly recommended, even for those like myself who don't like hiking. Seeing the rainforest is a spectacular experience!

Definitely not worth the price. The tour guide basically did nothing more than drive us around. He had no scientific knowledge to pass on to us about the rainforest at all and really offered nothing except where to eat lunch afterward. Save your money. Go to the rainforest yourself and hire a park ranger for the day to give you a tour. Will know better next time!

The tour is really nothing much. The rainforest is about 45 min drive from San Juan but nothing's too special about it. I was expecting some sort of hiking in the rainforest, but all we did was driving up the mountain and walk through a 10 min trial in the mountain with nothing much to see. I didn't see any interesting plants or animals. The tour guide was not helpful in explaining the forest either. I think it was a waste of time and way over priced.

This was the perfect way to see the rainforest for people who aren't looking for strenuous physical activity. We took short walks, mostly on our own, while the driver waited for the allotted amount of time he gave us at each stop. Usually about 30-40 minutes. He told us a lot about Puerto Rico as he drove and narrated during one walk through the forest. This particular driver was patient and helpful to those who needed a hand getting in and out of the van and he picked us up and returned us to the hotel on time, as scheduled. The trip was enjoyable and well worth the time and money. Highly recommended.

My wife and I were the first to be picked up by Roberto Garcia at the Caribe Hilton. Roberto was very Professional without being stuffy. I enjoyed the trip very much and asked many questions which Roberto was able to answer with great knowledge not only about the rain forest but a variety of other information about Puerto Rico. Roberto pointed out many points of interest on the way to the rain forest which was over an hour drive from San Juan. His knowledge of the history and politics of the Island is excellant. I loved the trip and would go again.

The rainforest was beautiful, and I can't wait to go back. My friends, Shari and Linda, and I, took the half day trip. The tour guide, Ricardo, picked us up at our hotel right on time. He was very informative and interesting, told our group some interesting facts about the rainforest before we got there. At the rainforest, we stopped several times to walk around and take pictures. I was a little disappointed that we didn't get to go to the waterfall where you can swim, but a taxi driver later in the day told us you only go there on the whole day trip. If I get to go back, I would take the whole day trip. The views were unbelievably beautiful, and we got some great photos. It was one of the best things we did while were were in Puerto Rico.

The guide was helpful- but I wish we would have had more time to visit the rainforest. Since the visitor center was closed due to damage from the hurricane, we went up the tower and then hiked briefly (20-30 minutes). We then had the opportunity to eat lunch. The food was good, but I would have rather done another hike or something related to the rainforest. Maybe the better option would be to take a longer trip into the rainforest. I just wish that I had seen more than what we did.

Our guide was fantastic. He grew up playing in the rainforest and still lives at the edge now. We really enjoyed it - all of our seven teenaged Girl Scouts and the two adult leaders, as well. Would highly recommend our tour guide!

Visiting the El Yunque Rainforest was a must see for this trip, and it was worth the time and money. Our guide was excellent. In fact, we were waiting at the wrong hotel; we called when we realized it, and he came and got us. Now that is customer service!
