The Cathedral of Santa Maria is the biggest in Spain and is where Christopher Columbus is buried and his tomb is always of great interest to visitors.

The Giralda tower is an ancient Arabic minaret and symbol of the city, dominating the city skyline. This magnificent structure has been used a inspiration for similar architecture in Rabat and Marrakech.

An Arabic palace from the 14th century, the Royal Alcazar was originally a Moorish fortress. Nowadays the Alcazar is residence of the Spanish kings.

You will end the tour with a pleasant stroll through Santa Cruz, Seville's historical Jewish quarter. With narrow cobbled streets winding among white washed buildings, this is the most picturesque area of the city.

We met Antonio at the location, the Catedral, in Seville. He was on time and waiting for us. His English was excellent. There were five of us on the tour. We particularly wanted a private tour as we had many questions. Antonio was very knowledgeable. He provided us with information that we probably would not have obtained on the taped tour or a group tour. He was able to answer our questions about the government of Spain and the current leaders and their positions. We all agreed that this tour was one of the highlights of our ten day vacation to Spain. I was sorry I had not booked other tours in advance with Viator.

Our guide was outstanding! She was full of both historical and practical information, which enhanced our visit to Seville tremendously! Although it poured rained, our tour consisted of only our family of six, so the guide accommodated our interests and the weather beautifully, rearranging the schedule to take advantage of brief lapses of rain and to allow us to re-charge with coffee and pastries. The sites were magnificent and not to be missed! My sister and her husband are planning to travel to Seville in April and I will recommend that they take this tour hopefully with the same guide!
