Very beautiful city to visit. Lots to see and do. The Stockholm Card is value for money, as it gets you into heaps of attractions and free public transport. You would only need to spend 3 days here as this would give you enough time to see everything worth seeing. I loved visiting the Vasa Museum and the National Museum.

Well worth getting. It saved us lots of time queuing up to get tickets on the tram every day and was very economical given the number of places that took part in the scheme.

This is worth it's weight in gold if you are wanting to use the metro/trams and some buses whilst there. It also is a definite for access into many galleries, museums etc Fantastic made life very easy whilst in a foreign city!

We had a fabulous time in Stockholm and it wouldn't have been as great without the card!_br/_ The accompanying book with all the museum descriptions was so helpful. The buses and trains were so easy to use and the card made it so simple. We definitely got our money's worth!

This was our 3rd card (also used in Oslo and Stockholm). Great value for money. Once you've worked out how the handbook which comes with the card works (ie understand the codes). We were well in pocket without taking in to account the cost of using various means of transport. We travelled quite long distances from Copenhagen - 45 mins on a fast train - to visit places of interest. Public transport always runs on time and is extremely reliable. I can't speak highly enough about the value of the Stockholm Card.

Would recommend the Stockholm Card as it gave access to all museums anyone might want to visit and free travel on buses and trams. It is very easy to use. The open air Skansen museum and Vasa museet are definitely worth a visit. Depending on which island you stay, the easiest way of getting around may well be by boat and unfortunately the Stockholm Card does not cover the Hop On Hop Off boat during the summer months, so we ended up buying a 48 hour pass for this. There is however an efficient and frequent bus and tram service to all the islands, so it isn't essential to pay out extra for a boat pass. The Stockholm Card also does not include the airport express train. It is worth knowing that many museums and sites have free entry for children so unless you are visiting a large number of places it may not be worth buying the Stockholm Card for children.

Card was excellent! Got us into the Palace and Treasury- the cruise tours did not include the most beautiful part of Stockholm (Palace interior). We should have the cards mailed; as we wasted too much time finding the Tourist Bureau. - Dean/Gail Savell

Good value for the money. I would have given it a 5 stars, except that the hop-on-hop-off boat ride was not available for most of summer, and it is not clearly explained in the web-site. Also, eventhough the transportation is free is you have the card, the tram and the buses to Skansen from central station are all jam-pack and we ended up walking 45 minutes to get there.

location to pick up card difficult to find, transportation at Stockholm C pretty chaotic, a poor guide book that included destinations/transportation that is not included in the card. You need to move real fast to benefit from it

Waste of money. Bought a two day card but due to flight delay/travel time, never used it the first day. Bought 3 in total because two were gifts! Also, I was told by your staff that the card was valid on ON/OFF TOUR BOAT. It was not valid during high season and I had to pay to board the boat! Buyer beware when purchasing this in advance!!!

We bought this card because we thought it would be helpful during our Baltic cruise. It was a good deal, but we didn't have enough time in Stockholm for a one day card. The pick up place was extremely hard to find, also. The street it is located on is below the main streets, and there is another tourist information place in the Galleria shopping mall, which confused us. We arrived in Stockholm at 9:30am, and it took us two full hours to find and receive the card. NOT a good deal in my opinion.

Trip was excellent ..... the Stockholm card more than paid for itself. Just wish it covered the hop on hop of buses and boats. But would highly recommend having the Stockholm card...we had ours for 5 days and used it many times each day.

This card was great. we saved a lot of money especially at the Skansen and the Vasa museum where everything was free. We also got a discount on the hop on hop off buses which we used to move from one place to the next.

Good value, but using local buses requires some homework so that you know what routes take you to your destination. This isn't the easiest to accomplish but is do-able - however the info center was a bit tricky to find.

We got this card mainly to see a museum or two, a palace, and to be able to take the bus. At $5 per ride, Scandinavian transit systems are high priced. Like all these cards though, you need to use them or the value is lost. I think we got our money's worth. The pass is easy to get....at the main tourist office across from Central Station. It comes with a very helpful booklet on all the attractions included....hours of operation, how to get there, etc. I recommend the tour of the Opera House, but the Historical Canal Tour did not come up to expectations.

I was doubtful about getting the Stockholm Card but I am glad we did. Saved a lot of money; just on the subway/bus system alone! As we wandered the streets, we found that all the places we wanted to see accepted the card; no problems. From the palaces, historic home tours, boat cruises, subways, City Hall, etc... HIGHLY recommend ordering this through Viator and easily picking up your card at the Tourist Center across from Central Station. If you are doubtful, order it - you will be glad you did.

The book was very helpful and allowed for more freedom to come and go! The transportation portion should be a section all of it's own explain signs/schedules of the transportation companies of what is or is not included. Overall would purchase again!

Stockholm's so cool! It was very cold, but me and my friend still managed to get lots of sightseeing done. The Stockholm card is brilliant, you can get around and get into most museums for free, saves you so much money. The only problem was picking it up, the tourist office has moved to literally right across the road from the main train station, but when we asked for directions, people still told us to go to the old location. So just ask how to get to Central Station and you'll be fine. Enjoy!

The card was easy to use and provided savings on transport and entry to museums etc. Sweden House has closed and the tourist information office has only recently moved too opposite the main railway station. It was not signposted and the locals and Police did not know of Sweden House having closed down so a good hour was wasted trying to find the office to exchange the voucher. You then have to take a ticket and wait to be seen, I waited 1 hr 15 mins. It would be far better to issue the card directly.

I am so glad I bought my card before I left! Fantastic value and for sure I got my money's worth. I got my card at Arlanda airport (staff were very helpful and had some great little tips) Travelling around with it was easy and made the public transport less of a headache to work out. I found I visited more places than I would have if I had not bought the card and it made for action packed days. The staff in most places asked if I had one before I had the chance to show it. Excellent idea. Fantastic value. I recommend anyone travelling to get one. It pays for itself in so many ways.

It saved so much money and trouble as we didn't have to think before going into a museum or taking public transport. We came across several rainy days in Stockholm and we actually visited more museums than we expected. Of course, we had so much fun.

I visited Stockholm for one day. Time was precious. Good value but took too long queuing at Sweden House when I had a voucher already. My ticket was number 263, when I arrived they were at number 220. Managed to jump queue getting manager to change voucher rather than waiting an hour - should be a desk for cashing vouchers if purchased already or change vouchers at Arlanda airport.

Very confusing to use, hard to get card once in Stockholm. Had to wait in long line at tourist building to change paper work into card. Hope on hop off cannel ride did not have narration and we were told card didn't work on bus. The only good was at the museum of Natural history, which was free. I would not recommend this card.

It was very convenient to be able to enter all attractions without charge. We visited attractions that we wouldn't have visited without the card. Unfortunately it takes a while to get the card since you can only get it at the Tourist Office which is very busy.

It is a great card. However you should not purchase online since the pick up location is so far from central station, you would have to carry your luggage and walk through buildings and buildings and wait in line for another hour at Stockholm tourist centre. In case you lose your receipt then it is over. You would have to find an internet cafe and reprint it. Purchase it once you arrive in Stockholm. I ended up having to buy a separate ticket to get to the pick up centre.

Great value if you want to see museums and attractions. Is a little inconvenient to use on the metro system, since you have to go through a separate manual inspection every time, as opposed to the electronic metro cards you just swipe.

We bought the one day card and found that it was pretty hard to get your money's worth in that length of time. On Sunday things don't open until 10am so we were late in getting started. It was easy to use but we had to wait in line once it was 10am for about 20 minutes to get the pass. It's a good idea and maybe works better if you pick up the pass the day before you want to use it.

I used the computer and printer in the lobby of our hotel to buy The Stockholm Card and print out the redemption voucher. By purchasing from US-based Viator and paying in US dollars, we saved on the currency exchange as well as the credit card surcharge for foreign transactions. We visited the Vasa Museum, which houses a remarkably preserved/restored 17th century Swedish war ship that sank 25 minutes into its maiden voyage, and the Museum of Modern Art took a historical canal tour by boat and rode a few buses and trams sightseeing. The Stockholm Card was a very worthwhile purchase. It was great that the card is activated on first use rather than when it is collected from the tourist center. I timed our use of the 24-hour Stockholm Card so that, the next day, we could take a commuter train to Marsta and transfer to bus 583 to get to Arlanda Airport. This was very easy as our hotel was steps away from Central Station, the train heading to the suburbs at that time of day had plenty of space and the ride was pleasant. Our noon flight and manageable luggage wheeled 24" plus one carry on each allowed us to do this and save a bundle in expensive Sweden.

The card was very useful and convenient, but the worse thing was when we went in to the train station we could not use our ticket straight through the machine and we had to wait in the long queue through the counter every time. Also, if the card could be sent through to the customer or be printed out from a computer before their journey instead of collected from the tourist center, it would be better!

Would recommend the Stockholm Card to anyone! It's well worth the money. My only suggestion is to order it and have it in hand before leaving home. Viator was great to be able to order and pay with U.S. dollars; however, having to exchange a voucher for it was a pain because of the lines. So use the card and save money, but get it in advance.
