The first stop on your full-day adventure is an old Viking bridge called Jarlabankes bro, with ancient runic stones to admire. Great to see the country side in Sweden but the tour guide was off his rocker. Most of the time everthing was his opinion or idea of how things were and didn;t explain some of the artifacts because he didn't agree with the history of them.

This was an amazing day. Only 4 of us on the tour, we were entertained and informed by the wonderful driver/guide. Highly recommend it even to those not particularly interested in the details of the Vikings. It takes you through some beautiful countryside and small towns

Great trip, very nice and knowledgeable guide a lot of interesting information. I recommend this trip to all who really interested in vikings, where did the come from, how they lived, about their culture and traditions, not just want to see swords, ships and helmets.

Again, easy way to see the sights. The tour guide was a little too opinionated regarding religion and the Swedish Social Democrat party views - especially when I had no perspective as to whether or not his political views were his own or were slightly skewed.

I had a very enjoyable day in the snowy Swedish countryside. The very friendly guide provided extensive commentary on many interesting locations, and we had a great lunch in a lovely village. This tour was one of the highlights of my trip to Scandinavia. The guide was extremely knowledgable about Viking history and culture. As a visitor to the region, he also gave us a great overview of Swedish culture and society. He took us to some "off the beaten track" places to see runestones and ruins. I would highly, HIGHLY recommend this tour. It is worth every penny, and then some.

It was a wonderful trip, with an outstanding and very knowledgeable guide, Mr, Steinthor. He has made a deep study of the Vikings and his tremendous knowledge comes through in all the places we visited. He gives you a fascinating account of the times when the Vikings ruled the seas and of their lives, customs and organization. The places we visited were exciting and the guide made history come alive. You come out of the trip feeling as if you understand how the Vikings lived , how they governed themselves and how civilixed there were even with today's standards. This was one of the best trips we've had with Viator.

Operated by a very nice gentleman named Steinthor, we were driven in limousine comfort around the sights of outer Stockholm and learned very much about Viking history. I cannot recommend this enough. Steinthor is knowledgable, and can answer your questions about Sweden, both in the past and as it is today. He is a gentleman, courteous, interesting, humourous. A great day was had by all. The places we visited were fantastic, a highlight for me was Sigtuna, a little village, and the Cathedral. I great way to spend a full day, getting out of Stockholm, into the surrounding areas, and to learn much about the ways of life of the Vikings.

Though it was a very interesting tour, we only spent a small part of the day on Viking historical information, which was disappointing, and we didn't see any Viking ships at all.

The tour was very comprehensive. We got to see many Viking historical sites that we never would have been able to see otherwise. We wouldn't have known they were there. We also got to see two really beautiful and interesting cities: Uppsala and Sigtuna.
