Our overseas guest and us from Melbourne really enjoyed this trip .We received a glass of champagne when we arrived on the ship along with canapes and got great photos of the harbour with the sights of the harbour bridge and the Opera house.The other 7 course were all nice along with a different Australian wine to try with each course. The whole evening was very enjoyable and the scenery was great to see at the start during daylight and later it was amazing lit up at night

The cruise itself was fantastic. My only slight reservation would be that when booking on-line I'd listed that 1 person attending would prefer a vegetarian option. This message didn't reach the cruise catering staff. However, the chef was fantastic and whipped up some marvelous veg courses.

We went on 12/2/11. Very romantic, the staff are wonderful friendly and always smiling, they had a piano and a singer playing love songs all night. Food was very yummy, we had half a lobster and all these other dishes that were great. Try and get a window seat it sets the mood and is so romantic and relaxing, my fiance had a great time too, it was the 2nd time we have been and have loved it both times. The first time we went he proposed to me and the staff did a great job in helping him keep it a surprise. Definitely a must do if your a romantic person. The only disappointing thing was they couldn't find my name on the itinerary when we arrived, they took up half an hour of my time trying to sort it out and i was taking my fiance out for his 30th Birthday and he had to sit there while they were talking to me and trying to get me to log on to the internet using a staffs mobile phone so i could email her the online voucher. They called me a few days later to apologise for the mishap. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars from me.

Overall it is worth doing one time in your life. It's a bit expensive if you are not a big drinker because they would factor in that you would drink so much alcohol. The food is great but the grilled lobster was chewy. Excellent service!

All the crew members were fantastic, beautifully dressed, extremely polite and attentive - 10 out of 10. Sadly, that's where the compliments end. The food was the worst I have had anywhere! The "starters" on the deck served with champagne were served on stale jatz biscuits. Whoever put the 7 (or was it 8?) course dinner together, didn't have a clue in relation to fine dining. The lobster tail was as tough as an old boot. The dessert was terrible. My partner did not touch hers. Each course went from bad to worse. The only ingredient cooked correctly was the eye fillet of beef. Everything else was a disaster. The worst thing of all is that we were not offended. It was so bad that we just laughed as each course was presented. Despite the extremely bad food experience, all of the staff were great. They presented themselves very well. There is no way I could recommend this cruise. At $295 for two, I say no more.

I chose this as this seemed the perfect way to finish a fantastic holiday and it did not disappoint. The service was very attentive, the dinner was second to none, i believe we counted 8 courses excluding canaps and champagne. We had time to go on the skydeck between some courses which is where i proposed to my now fiance . Certainly worth the extra money for the Gold deck!

Well worth a trip if you like good food and nice wines! We were looked after from start to finish, our waitress was attentive to all our needs. One negative if you want one, you are to busy wining and dining to actually go outside for views of the harbor. It is best to book a window seat so as to get the views!

We were disappointed that when we asked for a Baileys the cost was 8.50. We thought that paying as much as we did, it should have been included in the cost. Otherwise the service and food were fantastic!!

We did this trip in 2007 but on a Friday - it was superb. This year we did it on a Wednesday and the food was poor and the entertainment very poor. Trip round Harbour still good but you can do that much more cheaply. Would recommend only on Friday, Saturdays or Sundays. Not Viator's fault, as usual, their admin was great.
