Very nice cruise. Food was good-not great. Our server was fantastic, very friendly. Definitely use Captain Cook ferries if you can. Much more explanation than on city ferry. However, the cruise is a little misnamed. There was not a sunset to be seen. 5-6:30 is too early in the middle of February anyway. Did feel a bit rushed--there was another cruise on the vessel shortly after ours. Photographer was good too.

We have not regretted choosing the Sydney Harbour Sunset Cruise for our 10th wedding anniversary. Quite romantic, and all indeed went according to expectations, even the promised sunset. Food and service was good too. The only downside we can think of is the fact the former was a little on the cold side. But still great - and the waiter was very friendly.

Great to sail through Sydney harbour. Paid for window seat but boat was only half full so it seemed a waste of money. Food was so so but staff was friendly and views were amazing. Overall glad to have had the experience.

This was the best way to spend our first night in Sydney. We walked from the castlereagh boutique to the wharf and enjoyed the most elegant, romantic sunset cruise with a wonderful dinner.

We only had a weekend to spend in Sydney and were looking for a dinner cruise to see some highlights from the harbour. We were delighted with the great service, quality of the food and the fantastic views from the water. A window seat is recommended.

What a lovely cruise. Food was excellent, drinks free flowing, very attentive staff. The only complaint was that there was no sunset. We were allocated the 1800hrs cruise, but the sun doesn't set until 2000hrs, by which time we were back on shore. They couldn't understand our complaint that this is not a "sunset cruise", but a good daylight dinner cruise !!

A very nice experience - one I would recommend. However, it does feel somewhat rushed, and the waiter-to-customer ratio is insufficient, causing a small problem with the service. Otherwise, the cruise was extremely enjoyable.

This is advertised as a sunset cruise, however, at this time of year it is not sunset. Had I known there was a later cruise, I would have booked for that. Cruise was ok, steak was overcooked, but the harbour is always nice to be on.

The food was good quality. The staff were helpful and courteous. The food service was very good. One minor problem was the drinks service was slow, so I had to go to the bar a few times to get my own. The circuit we travelled had a variety of views to admire. 6:30 in summer is not sunset, so calling it a sunset cruise is a bit of a misnomer, but that wasn't really a problem either as it meant you could see the different parts of the harbour. .

The dinner cruise was enjoyable except that our table was right beside the door to the foredeck and people were in and out all the time. This would have been OK except that every time the door opened a blast of wind came in. The second time the door opened the wind caught my menu and knocked a half empty bottle of beer over onto my wife's lap! She was very annoyed about this. The waitress was very apologetic but said that nothing could really be done about it. She did say they would try to stop people going out onto the foredeck whilst we were having our meal, but this was not very effective. Why can't they place a transparent screen by the door? Apart from that we enjoyed the experience.

The food and service on the sunset dinner cruise were excellent. We would however warn future travellors that this cruise is extremelly busy with large tour guides so expect a lot of pushing in when trying to board the boat. The staff tried hard to control this but with language barriers this did not prove to be very successful and the staff seemed just as exasperated as us.

it was awful. First, I have to present both passports to get the tickets. And even when I was running out of time and holding both passports, the box woman still asked my boyfriend to show up and sign the voucher when he was already aboard. Secondly, the service on the ferry was awful. The servant is not trained. She dropped my shrimp on the floor and she did not even bother to tell me or to pick it up. Instead, she just let it sitting on the carpet for more than 10 minutes till I asked her to clean it up. Then she told us we could only have one drink, rather than as it said on the voucher that we could have unlimitted drinks. The ferry does not offer any other services, no music, no entertaiment, no intro, basically, nothing. I booked first class window seats and paid over $200. But feel like sitting in a 1 star hotel lobby and being ignored. This trip is definitely a NO. if you do have money, would recommend you to dine next to the Opera House, with $200, you can have lobster for two and enjoy the first class service. Then you can pay $20 for 2 people to take the ferry to Manly. If there is a -star choice, I would have picked that. Unfortunately, the worst review I could give is one star. That's it.

Very enjoyable, attentive, friendly and very helpful staff who were always making sure that our needs were met ensuring that our choice of drinks were readily available. The food was of a good standard and the right amount. The setting of Sydney Harbor was beautiful and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. All of these things combined to making it a special day to remember.

Pro’s: Nice views, friendly staff, good selection of main courses. Great views. We were upgraded to window seats. Con’s: For an “unlimited” selection of wines/beers, we didn’t get the same experience as others as far as the free flowing of alcohol. They will take a photo at the beginning and then charge you for it. Dinner also felt slightly rushed. This tour would be great if they just add an extra 30 minutes to it. Despite the con’s we would highly recommend this boat trip to a couple or group that want to experience the harbor in a unique way.

We enjoyed the sunset cruise and dinner. The food with unlimited drinks was well worth the costs. After dinner, I recommend you go to the upper deck for a great view of Sydney's skyline. Only drawback is the cruise is only 90 minutes so you need to eat quickly in order to have time to enjoy the cruise.

Wonderful experience, also had the upgrade to window seats, meal delicious and service excellent. Sights of Sydney super, was fortunate to have a local couple at the next table who were able to point out some of the less well know sights as well, an additional bonus for us.

Brilliant! The food was good, except that I could not eat the baby squids on the starters. Plenty of wine, pleasant staff, and the sunset cruise is the best one to go on, as you can still see all the sights as you go by them, as opposed to the sinner cruise when it's too dark to see. Also you are back in time to continue your evening.
