Please note: During the winter season MV Sydney 2000 vessel will be replaced with the John Cadman III or Captain Cook III. 

Sydney lunch cruise sample menu:

Entree:

• Seafood and smoked Chorizo tapas
• Sliced chicken breast and fragrant couscous salad drizzled with lemon infused olive oil
• Vegetarian antipasto - which may include a selection of marinated mushrooms, flame grilled artichoke hearts, Mediterranean beans, risone, green tomato pickles and asparagus

Main Course: (All main courses are served with a market vegetable of the day)

• Spinach and ricotta ravioli with truffle infused sauce of three cheeses
• Fillet of Tasmanian salmon with fragrant lemon couscous and salsa verde
• Grilled eye fillet with red onion jam and rich veal jus
• Eggplant and zucchini torte with capsicum sauce

• Vanilla trifle with almond biscotti
• King Island camembert and classic vintage cheddar with pear past and water biscuits

A fabulous way to see all the spectacular views around the harbour. It is a shame that the commentary is only audible on the top deck, which means that as one eats, this is missed. Good lunch, despite my dietary information being ignored.

The trip round the harbour was excellent, with good food well served, and a great view. I would have liked some kind of commentary, which we did not get on the "Top Deck' section although it was available on the rest of the ship, but it was a great afternoon nevertheless.

Cruise was enjoyable, but food was quite disappointing. Also, lower decks had explanations on what we were seeing, which would have been nice for us as tourists. Would have been great to know in advance that there were a few drop off points.

You cannot be in Sydney and not take a lunch cruise - this is such a great way to discover the city, seeing the Opera House from up-close, going under the Sydney Bridge, and deep into Sydney Harbour. The weather was a bit cloudy in the morning but lifted up by the time we left quay, and we enjoyed picture-perfect blue sky and full sunshine. The lunch table was right by the window, allowing awesome views of the Harbour as we sailed. The lunch menu offers different choices, to satisfy everyone's taste. From the starter to the entree, the food was fantastic! Everything was cooked to perfection and really fresh. After lunch, the top deck is wonderful to stretch legs and get a 360 degrees view of the Harbour, where we took lots of photos. The arrival location at Circular Quay is very convenient, as you then can go and discover further aspects of the city, wondering in The Rocks and go to the Opera House. I would definitely recommend this tour and would most definitely do it again!

My wife and I enjoyed the cruise. The food was excellent, the service without fault. The actual tour could have been more interesting, instead we felt that after the first loop the ship had become a ferry picking up passengers.

My adult children and I had a ball, the food was lovely, the ride was smooth and all in all we had a hoot. The only thing i would say is some staff were very attentive to their tables and others weren't, unfortunately we had a waitress who wasn't in top form, but we still didn't let that ruin it for us. She managed to serve every body around us drinks, bread and first cours and nothing for us, not even water. I would do it again.

We had a wonderful day, the boat great, service fantastic and food lovely. We had window seats and view was great, but it was really hot and the air con didnt really reach us for ages. But that is the only whinge!! Would thoroughly recommend for great value and wonderful service!

I have been on this type of cruise many times and found that it has always lived up to its reputation of fine food and great service. I go at least once a year and recommend it for anyone or a new visitor to Sydney. Great views as well.

Not worth the money. Same sights if you just do the ferry service which is cheaper than the tour. And the food was average. Service was ok. Just not worth the money they charge. And they advertise 3 hours when in fact it was only 90 minutes. I had the option to stay onboard and do the same tour again to get to my 3 hours. I did not.
