This was truly one of the highlights of my trip. We had a tour guide who was fantastic and so knowledgeable. She had been doing this for sometime and enjoyed it. The architecture is magnificent. A must see!

We aren't opera people, but this tour was well worth it. Learning about the challenges and conflicts from the initial design through the completion of the construction of the opera house was fascinating. Lots of interesting facts--now sorry we didn't have time to see a performance while we were there!

We hadn't planned to take this tour, but did so at the last minute on the recommendation of a friend. We are so glad we did. The guide was enthusuastic, friendly and knowledgable, and clearly loved her job. Purely on her recommendation we returned the next night to see a stage performance and thoroughly enjoyed it. This tour really added to our enjoyment of our short time in Sydney and we would receommend it highly.

The tour was really interesting, lasted a full hour, was informative and easy to follow/hear as we all wore headsets to allow us to hear the guide. The video clips outlining the history were useful to a non-Australian. I would recommend the tour to everyone. I should add that booking with Viator did not clearly show that I could get a senior discount, so I lost $10 on the deal, and it would have been helpful to be able to book a time slot to plan other activities around the tour. Amazing! Great insight into how the Opera House was designed and constructed. Went on the limited mobility tour and it was perfect. We even went into the Opera House while they were setting up for an opera. We also went behind the scenes where they store the sets. Don't miss this tour.

We highly recommend this tour. The views from the opera house of the rocks area is fabulous. The tour was so informative with two short videos. I personally was disappointed in the interior of the opera house, the outside takes ones visual breath away, but nothing real special about the interior. After the tour we were allowed to use of ticket for 20 off for food purchased at the well priced tasty Opera House caf. Outdoor seating on the water front with views of the Rocks.

Absolutely wonderful experience! We found that since we booked the tour, we could get discounted opera tickets for the same night. The tour was great since it covered the historical material related to the opera house and the architecture. This was a good tour to take right after the backstage tour since it was different material that was covered. The tour lasted an hour.
