Towering more than 300 meters above the city center, the Sydney Tower Restaurant crowns the tallest building in Sydney (formerly known as Centrepoint Tower). It's the highest revolving restaurant in the Southern Hemisphere, with one full revolution taking 70 minutes.

The Sydney Tower Restaurant serves a famously wide range of local and international dishes as part of its world-class buffet. You can choose from a succulent fresh seafood, including fresh Pacific oysters farmed in Tasmania, Australian native meats, world-renowned Terra Rossa beef and mouthwatering desserts.

I had booked this for a visiting Canadian. We were both overawed by the spectacular views. The buffet lunch was comprehensive but did lack if flavour. The meet and greet staff, the staff in revolving resataurant and even when we departed......such helful friendly young people, Congratulations. I would highly recommend this outing

Good package, but i did not get the unlimited free softdrinks, as they took my receipt at the foyer upon arrival before letting us up (mistake on my part), so i did not contest otherwise

Basically a revolving canteen with plastic seats and tables. We (slightly) dressed up thinking it would be an evening dining experience. No need everyone was still running around in flip flops (thongs!), shorts and t-shirts. Starters and deserts were good, main courses were very poor. Views were excellent but marred by excessive internal lighting which kills photo opportunities by reflections on glass. Is it worth doing, probably yes, just don't expect fine dining or anything close. ps - leave plenty of time.. Security is slow and tedious, allow at least 30 mins to get up to 'restaurant'

We all enjoyed our buffet lunch - an excellent variety of food. A perfect summer's day for taking photos as the tower view are outstanding. Anyone visiting Sydney should visit the tower.

Well worth the experience. My party of six all agreed it was a great venue for our celebration. Photo opportunities of Sydney were appreciated by interstate guests. Food was enjoyable and nicely presented. Staff were pleasant and approachable. Would recommend venue to others.

I had never purchased an online ticket before and I must say my lunch at Sydney Tower was fantastic. The weather held out, I was very impressed with the food on offer as was my UK visitor. An hour and half was just perfect timing and I found the waitstaff very friendly and helpful. I think the only down side would be the 'photo pack offer'. I think its a great idea but the quality of the photo would never warrent $35. It was a special lunch overall and has no hesitation promoting amongst my network of friends and associates

The food and the views were marvellous, even better than our previous experiences with Sydney Tower. The only small problem was we had a large party - viator was not able to book a large table, so we had to firmly insist when we got there so that we would not be split among several tables. But the waiter was very friendly, and even this issue was resolved.

The purpose of our visit to the Sydney Tower Restaurant was to give our Grand-daughter an overview of Sydney as we had been up there before, and also to enjoy a buffet meal. She thought it was marvelous, and she was continually taking photograhs of the various views of Sydney, She enjoyed herself, as we did also. The meal was more than adequate. The whole experience was as we had hoped it would be, and we would recommend it to anyone who wanted a good meal and an overview of Sydney.

It was a fantastic experience, the view is wonderful and we really enjoyed the experience. I just didn't like the behaviour of the one of receptionist when i arrived in there to go up, the girl was arrogant and impolite person who treated me without any respect, i true believe that a person like this girl should not be working to deal with tourists and people who is going there to have joy, well because her we lost 15 minutes of our lunch, i do not know if she works for aviator but what i know is that she almost damage our fun of having lunch to see this beautiful city Sydney.Well i'm sure it was just a person and not the philosophy of the company. My kids (8 and 10) first trip to Sydney, perfect venue to see the city, they loved it (we booked in for 5:30 pm). The food was good, enough choice to tempt my fussy eaters. Not so easy to find the reception desk that allows you go up the private security elevator but we got there. We were in the first sitting and some of the food had been sitting a while and dried out a bit but I would still recommend this to vistors to Sydney. The AC was set to freezing so good idea to take a light jacket etc. One of those things you do only on holiday. Great price for the food and experience. Thank you.

Had not been to restaurant since the 80's and will never go to that restaurant again. Service was beyond lousy, they charged for drinks they shouldn't have then couldn't do a reverse credit. It was nothing short of being a zoo.

We went there with our Daughter in Law from Melbourne and our Son. We had not been there for 25 - 30 years. We went for the view, didn't expect much from the food. The view didn't disapoint and the food was suprisingly good for the price. Great variety and well presented. When you factor in what you get apart from the food, you are probably not paying much more than Club prices anyway!

We went to the tower restaurant to celebrate my birthday. What a treat! The food was gorgeous, huge variety of foods and the service was great particularly an Irish waitress from Longford. She couldnt be more helpful in both the service, taking photos of our group and recommending places to visit during our visit to Sydney. It was expensive at 100 a head but the view was fantastic and no one rushed us out when our meal was over. We were there over three hours and all our drinks were free for that time. I would recommend this to any visitor to Sydney, it was an experience of a lifetime and a most memorable birthday. July 9, 2010

I booked this as a surprise for friends that were visiting from the USA. They loved the rotating floor and looking out at every part of Sydney. The food was good, though perhaps not enough to cater to small children, of which we had two. The more "adult" meals of yummy pork belly and marinated kangaroo did not appeal at all to the kids. The desserts were also quite "adult" - but they did make up for it with several mini tubs of Peters Ice Cream! Staff friendly and chatty, which is nice for locals let alone overseas visitors. Highly recommended, though as we had been at the Observation Deck immediately before we went to the revolving restaurant, perhaps a "del" could be arranged whereby you are not paying the full amount for the obs deck AND the restaurant. Overall, though, I would highly recommend this to my friends and visitors.
