Excellent Tour, covered all the important areas of Tokyo, had an excellent lunch. Only downside was bus seats were not very big for large people.

Great way to get the feel of Tokyo and all the major sites out of the way on the first day. Tour guide (Junkie?) was excellent, sweet and complete! Nice lunch in panoramic hotel restaurant 'roof' top. Good lesson on city layout, how to use the metro, and some rules of the city....

Very thorough trip but I wish we had more time to stop off at certain areas like Asakusa Kannon Temple. I could have done without the Bay Cruise personally

A bit of a whistle stop tour of the major sights. Could have done with more time at some of the shrines. Probably a bit disappointing due to the heavy rain.

The tour was excellent, and the guide was superb. She was quite knowledgeable, and her English was flawless. My son and I had just one day for sightseeing in Tokyo, and this was the perfect way to see as much as possible. The lunch provided was only so-so, but who cares? There are a million restaurants in the world but only one Tokyo. My favorite place was the East Garden of the Imperial Palace. My son really enjoyed the hour-long cruise in Tokyo Bay.

Really enjoyed the full-day tour of Tokyo. Very comprehensive tour. The lunch was quite good, not a quick-processed meal for large groups that is common on tours. The view from the restaurant was spectacular. I also loved the Tokyo Bay cruise. The last stop at a shopping mall was not interesting and there wasn't enough time there to make the stop worthwhile. Would rather have spent more time at the gardens of the Imperial Palace.

Glad we did this tour as we were only in Tokyo for 2 days - It was nice to be on a bus to see the streets as opposed to traveling on the subway. we also had the added bonus of snow falling which gave the city fresh perspective, and how sad, since this was 3 days before the major earthquake. I wish the bus had driven through other areas of Tokyo that we did not get to see on our own, like Shinjuko and the fish market, but otherwise, we saw everything else. Not much to see no the Daibo Island, would have preferred another cultural site. Hope our tour leader, Mina, is ok after the earthquake.

Excellent tour guide! Informative, efficient, well organized and enjoyable. Visit to national palace park not worth it in winter time, gardens dry and not much to see; also did not to visit Odaiba. More time would have been appreciated at other tourist sites or at the Oriental Market for gift shopping. Thank you, Kim Steenberg

This day tour was fantastic and as was our tour guide. Tour gave a good grounding of the city and stopped at all the necessary places. The itinerary of guided tour and organization of the tour were very good but the guide was not. He kept repeating everything he said 5 to 10 times. Could have given a lot more information about the city or the sights we were visiting.

Great day out to explore the highlights of Tokyo. Tour guide was excellent as he was very knowledgeable. There wasn't enough time spent at certain places due to the time constraints. Our family my husband and I with two teenage daughters enjoyed the Tokyo Day Tour. Tokyo is such a big city, much bigger and spread out than I expected so the tour was great to situate us as far as how the city is laid out. The tour with the hotel pick up was great so we didn't have to try to figure out how to get from point A to B on our first day in Tokyo. Our tour guide Mei-san had fantastic English and a great sense of humor. The tour took us to historical sites with commentary when we pass through some important modern buildings. We were able to see a traditional Japanese wedding at the Meiji Shento Shrine which was really interesting. The Asakusa Temple is fun for the busy shopping streets in front. The western style lunch was so so since we would prefer Japanese lunch boxes however, the view from the top of the little hotel was very pretty. The after lunch cruise was very relaxing especially on that extremely hot day. We enjoyed our last stop at the Japanese version of the 1 store which was amazing since we found everything in Japan to be too expense. Overall, this is a great tour for anyone visiting Tokyo for the first time - we didn't have to worroy about anything and just get on and off the bus and learn from Mei-San.

The supplier viator chose for this tour JTB-Sunrise Tours is really something. Professional, helpful and everything one could wish of a tour company. Even better, the tour guide they provided us is outstanding. Went the extra mile on basically everything. Any questions we had on ancient buildings, beautiful landscapes, etc...she knew and answered. Questions about how to get to so-and-so hotel after the tour or to Tokyo Station so I could get to Kyoto by that night She had that covered as well. She even small things like where can I find this obscure little souvenir my aunt wants me to bring back. And, of course, it didn't hurt that she was incredibly funny and just a very, very awesome tour guide. I highly recommend this tour for three reasons 1 that JTB - Sunrise Tours has tour guides in their hire such as the one I had never had such a great tour in my life 2 that JTB-Sunrise Tours made the pick up from my hotel and drop off to Tokyo Station very easy and convenient for me 3 that the locations they chose Shinju Shrine, Tokugawa Castle, etc were all incredible places that I'm glad I saw.
