Great little trip with a very informative guide taking in a number of city highlights. The only downside was that on the cruise I ended up sitting at the back of the barge where the windows were difficult to see out of and you couldn't hear the guide. Other than that all good.

We had arrived in Tokyo on the overnight flight from Sydney and wanted an introduction to the city. We had, therefore, booked this trip prior to our departure from the UK. Overall, it was excellent and provided us with lots of information about Tokyo and its sights which we were able to utilise over our next three days there. The guide was superb and the pick-up and drop-off went according to plan. This is an essential trip for first-time visitors to Tokyo and well worth the cost.

Guides not very interesting or interested. Views of Imperial Palace a bit of a joke. Boat trip ok.

We did this short tour on our arrival in Japan and it gave us a great feel for the city and the people. Our guide was interesting and spoke reasonable English. There was time for us to spend on our own, and seeing the Emperor's entourage leaving the Palace by horse and carriage was an unexpected bonus. The boat trip back to our starting point showed a different perspective on the City but added little to the experience.

This tour was a great way to get a feel for Tokyo in a short period. There was a good mix of sightseeing from the bus and stops to get out, take pictures, go to the fantastic market and temple. Being in the afternoon in winter it was dusk by the time we boarded to River Cruise and it was lovely to watch darkness fall and all the lights appear as we cruised. Our guide was good and made sure we knew how to return to our hotel at the end of the day

We had a great time. At least managed to have an English speaking guide who understands what we want. Also got to see certain historical parts of Tokyo. Half day was about nice. Thanks a lot.

Too speedy. My mum walks very slowly with walking sticks and I was informed that this tour only was a bus tour. Even so we had to walk long distances and in a hurry. Not too impressed. But the views are great and it is probably a great tour for the one that is fit.

This was a really good, fun, introduction to Tokyo. Definitely do this tour on your first or second day in the city. It gives you a nice perspective of the entire place. The market at the end is also fun. I am now addicted to the little grilled rice cakes that they make. The only drawback is that I wish it were longer, but it was only a half day tour. Great fun! Great guide!

Guide was okay but placed at a disadvantage because the river tour was cancelled because it "was too busy because of the cherry blossoms". We felt like a "bait and switch" had been done to us. If this is the truth, you must disclose it. Many on the tour were angry about the cancellation.

An interesting river cruise and visit to a temple and tower, but these things would be pretty easy to do independently! You do not really need a tour.

A great introduction to Tokyo. The guide was very knowledgeable and good sense of humour! We did not have enough time at the temple market but apart from that it was very good and we would recommend this to anyone new to Tokyo.

Places visited were within easy reach of the city. The river cruise was boring - all the guide did was name the bridges, no history of the surrounding sites. We left the tour at the Asakusa shrine and made our way home after shopping.

It was the perfect start to the visit as it gave us a feel for the layout of some of the main sites without the stress. Our guide was knowledgeable and spoke good English. The boat trip was the highlight for me. Tokyo is massive, and we got a feel for the scale of it from the boat. The coach was spotless, and everything went like clockwork! Tip: The Viator office is downstairs, under the World Trade Centre. There is more than one tour company operating from there, but Viator's is immediately opposite the staircase.
