Tokyo Night Tour with Japanese Dinner

Tokyo, Japan

Spend a night on the town in Tokyo! You'll dine on traditional Japanese delicacies like sukiyaki, tempura and sashimi, then take a sightseeing drive through Tokyo for superb night-time views.

Due to operational changes following the Tsunami, this tour is not available until further notice.

After your Japanese dinner at the Sanju Sangendo restaurant in Odaiba (vegetarian options are available), you'll take a drive over Rainbow Bridge to tour the futuristic district of Odaiba and the waterfront Aqua City shopping mall, built on reclaimed land next to the island fortresses built in the 19th century by the Shogunate.

For the best night-time views of the city lights, you'll drive through famous Akasaka and Ginza to the Roppongi Hills for fantastic hilltop panoramas of Tokyo.

Interesting and informative, with lovely food. I would recommend not leaving it to the end of the visit as I did though as the information could be useful to you earlier on.

Tour guide was knowledgeable and kind. Interesting sights but would have liked to have seen more of city lights from within the city instead of Odaiba views.

I'm not sure if guide was tired working late but he had no pep. Hardly any info on areas we saw. He made more comments on a long haired street vendor then anything else. Passed a police station. And told us how police care gun only while on duty. Then went on about how Japanese people cant understand why Americans want guns. He got into a little debate with an American on this. In the back of the bus they had another group that had a Chinese interpreter. She and the group spoke so loud. From the sound of it I think they had a better tour. The 3 star is actually for the dinner. I would stick to day tours if this is how night tours are.

Dinner was great! Had a selection from 4 different menu options: vegetarian, beef, chicken, and sashimi. I had the sashimi and it was excellent! The dining location was on the top floor of a hotel in Odaiba. Tour also included great night views of Tokyo at the Roppongi hills tower.

Food was excellent ,the old guide very knowledgeable and the sights are just great. Do not do this tour alone as I did. It is a bit romantic so you need to bring your partner. Great way to spend an evening. Reasonable price considering everything this tour offers. The guide even send me back to my hotel by taxi.

Guide was a little dry but comical. Enjoyed the tour and the food was good. Would have preferred a more traditional Japanese settingrestaurant rather than dinner at a standard table in a hotel. There were 5 in our party of various ages and we all enjoyed it.

Would have been better if the dinner included a geisha show or something similar. We had an hour for dinner which was far too long without some sort of entertainment. The view of the Tokyo skyline from Rappongi Hills was fantastic however, the visit to see the copy of the statue of liberty was underwelming.

Our "English" speaking tour guide did not speak very good English for the tour. Communication and instructions for meeting after the "free time" was lacking at one point. Some of us went back to the tour bus since our guide wasn't at the meeting spot at the time quoted but then again we weren't sure if we were supposed to meet him there anyway! Very confusing night. The Japanese dinner was very good though, nice experience there. The Garden area we went to was big but hard to see much at night. While riding on the bus, our guide didn't really say much about what we were seeing, not important things talked jibberish and told silly stories. After returning to the bus on our own, when we thought we were supposed to do that, he got really upset with us. Scolded like children, said this was how he made his living and that he never gets lost and he is responsible for us and has to make sure he does not lose any of us! I understand that to a point, BUT come-on. This night tour was not enjoyable. He needs a little more practice on English, courtesy and respect.

This tour is an absolute waste of time. If you are doing the full day "Panaromic Tour", this should definitely be given the boot. The highlight was the dinner overlooking the bay in Washington Hotel and I guess you could do that on your own. The Statue of Liberty was not well lit and you got to have really good flash to get nice pictures. The statue is best visited in daylight.

Great tour, beautiful panoramic views of Tokyo at night from the Mori Tower. Guide was excellent and provided useful tips and information about Tokyo and its lifestyle. The guide even dropped us right in front of our hotel at the end of the tour. The food was great, lovely Japanese food which we thoroughly enjoyed.

I don't recommend this tour. It's not terrible but it's really expensive. You're better off spending your money elsewhere. They take you to various parts of town that are scenic but you only stay for 15 minutes at each stop. Our tour guide spoke English well enough and had a funny, dry sense of humor but you learn more about Japan's culture by traversing the city by metro and foot. The dinner is also very mediocre.

Rather a dull tour, the main function of which appeared to be to orientate one to where things are in Toyko. If this was its goal, it succeeded. If you are wanting to have a taste of what Toyko is like at night or want to photograph all the lights and busy streets, this is not the tour. We spent quite a bit of time at a site to photograph a replica of the New York Statue of Liberty then raced through Ginza and other downtown places on the bus without any photo stops. The dinner was poor in quality, presentation and taste. I personally would have preferred to have been dropped off one end of the main street in Ginza and picked up at the other end or perhaps to have paid more for a better meal in a nicer and more interesting venue. Really disappointed as the other tours were really excellent and worthwhile.

Fantastic views, good dinner, we were taken to different places as on the day tour, which was good! Tokyo is a modern, clean, safe place, this tour was great, even at our last location, when the tour ended, the guide paid for a taxi to send us back to the hotel, because most were going the opposite direction. Fantastic service! Thank you.

Everything was good: the meal and the view at the restaurant, the wonderful photo opportunities in Odaiba of the Rainbow bridge at night, or the amazing views from the observation tower. Great guide, spoke prefect English and very courteous. Would highly recommend for adults only as children probably wouldn't appreciate it too much.

I had greater expectations of the meal and restaurant. Sure, the view was impressive, but if I wanted to eat in an American hotel I would have stayed at the Sheraton. The photo op at the Statue of Liberty was a waste of time, but the art gallery was a nice surprise.

Didn't see much of Odaiba. There was too much free time at the last destination, about an hour, which i think could have been better used going somewhere else then the top of a really tall building.
