Veneto Small-Group Wine Tasting Tour

Discover the famous wines of the Veneto on an informative and appetizing half-day excursion by minivan. Spaces are limited on each tour and groups will consist of a maximum of eight people. You'll travel in a comfortable air-conditioned minivan and receive individual attention from your expert driver guide.

Your tour begins as you board your air-conditioned minivan and make your way to the south-east of Treviso, only a short disntance from Venice. You will travel to a17th century villa once the home of the famous Doge Giustinian. Surrounded by 40 achers of vineyards this area is perfect for the production of high quality wine. The grapes cultivated are Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Refrosco and Raboso, Verduzzo, Chardonay, Pinot Grigio, Tocai, Traminer, and Prosecco all these grapes are typical of this area.

When you arrive you will have chance to see how they are producing the delicious wines, visit the cantina with its huge wine barrels and then enjoy the wine tasting and you can also enjoy some homemade appetizers and of course there is the opportunity to stock up on a bottle or two of 'vino italiano'.

This was one of the best bits of our holiday. We turned up to Pizzale a Roma to find it was just me and my husband doing the tour, fab! Our driver was a lovely man who ended up taking us on the tour of the vineyard and bringing us the wine to taste. It was really informative and we ended up getting a bit squiffy! We got given some salami and 'drunk' cheese (which was amazing) to have with our wine. We ended up buying 4 bottles of wine to bring home. An excellent day, you must do it.

A really good day out from Venice. The vineyard was beautiful, the wines were wonderful and our guide was very enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable. As it was such a small group, we had one-to-one attention and plenty of time to ask questions._br/_ The only problem we had was finding the pick up point to start with as the directions were not clear. If it had just said 'Behind the taxi rank' we would have found it immediately, but 'left side of the square' wasn't too easy. Apart from that - fantastic day! Thank you!

The winery we visited, Ornella Molon is a beautiful estate and we tasted some excellent wine. The wines were very resonably priced, as were other items. Excellent experience!

Our wine tour was amazing! The only negative comment I have would be that the actual tour of the winery and the grounds was not as in depth as I would have liked. The wine tasting portion was excellent and the guide was very knowledgeable.

A great way to do something more when in Venice - visit one of the vineyards close by. With a small group as this it also gives a closer experience to the wines and the people in the group. Clearly recommended.

We never made it to this tour-- which we were really looking forward to. When we called to verify we were still going, they told us one of the vans broke down. However, they offered us a much more expensive tour of the mountains at no additional charge. So we took them up on it, which was really sweet of them! But, they told us a wrong meeting point, we didn't know where in the mountains we were going, and the driver barely spoke with us and didn't give us much information about the area. So, we were disappointed with the tour overall because it wasn't what we had signed up for, and then we didn't really know what we were doing. We would have rather sat in a Vineyard and drank wine. :(
