We were met at the airport, led to the water taxi by a guide (which can be confusing for some as we saw first hand) and taken directly to our hotel. Very professional, would highly recommend for first timers to Venice as your Hotel may not be at your drop off point!

Met our guide in terminal and we walked to the pier. The ride was not that smooth because the driver was in a hurry. At one point my husband and I got wet because he took the waves so fast. At that point he finally slowed down. These drivers need to be more considerate of their passengers than time. The fact that we were taken to the entrance of our hotel made the private taxis a plus. I'd do it again, if the need ever arises.

We were very disappointed!!! We signed up for the $300+ private arrival transfer, and were looking forward to a special experience to introduce us to this spectacular city. Unfortunately there was NO ONE waiting to greet us after we gathered our luggage and passed through customs. After about 15 minutes of frustration and searching, we finally located a very nice woman who, after checking our voucher, her paperwork, and making a few phone calls got us to a private water taxi that took us to a stop close to our hotel. There was no representative who stayed with us until we got to our hotel. At the end of the day we managed just fine, but the experience was NOT worth $300!!!

If you are coming to Venice by air, treat yourself to this and feel like Angelina Jolie in "The Tourist". Being delivered right to our hotel allowed us to feel our way into Venice, without lugging suitcases behind. Your best chance to feel like a movie star.

Upon arrival at Venice airport we went to the Grand Canal, and was told then they could not take us to the hotel "Carletto" the tide was to high. We then had to pay a porter to take our luggage to hotel at the cost of $90 Euro. and had to walk. After we arrived there other boats were bringing their clients right up to the hotel, we feel that we were taken by our water taxi person. And the additional cost was not expected, due to the fact we had prepaid you to take us all the way!! We were very dissapointed and this was our first taste of what our trip might be like. Thank goodness the rest of the trip went smoothly.

Meeting and greeting was efficient but the water taxi had no view, crept into Venice through a small back canal and failed to deliver us to our hotel as "tide too low". In view of the considerable expense a great disappointment. Public transport by vaporetto from the airport is almost as quick, has a better view, takes a more interesting route and is only 15 euros per person!

The tour operator was on time and was waiting for us at the baggage claim. We went straight to the water taxi directly to our hotel. The tour operator ensured we checked in properly. This was a necessary tour since I was not familiar with Venice.

The airport private arrival transfer went incredibly smoothly considering the huge crowds of people at the airport and at the waterfront. We were afraid we wouldn't find the rep but no worries, he was waiting for us and he was very pleasant

Good service, i was in Venice in 30 minutes. I experienced a wonderful ride in the grand canal and they drop me off in front of hotel LUNA as they should. I thought it was overpriced. You can have the same service renting at the taxi-boat booth outside of the arrival hall with just 100.00euro a taxi private transfer .

The private transfer is well worth the price. It worked out fabulously as my hotel had a dock and the private transfer brought me directly to my hotel. _br/_ The only downside was upon my arrival. I was greeted immediately but then had to wait while the tour people got paperwork together which was a problem because the office was closed...then once we got to the docks, I had to wait again for the specific boat to arrive and dock. _br/_ I would definitely do a private transfer again but will think about whether to plan ahead or negotiate once there.

No one met me as promised. After I finally located them at their airport office,(which I had not been notified of ) everything was fine. Service was great after they picked up the dropped ball.

We were met on time, the individual had a cart and took our bags to the boat that was to transfer us and ensured we got aboard safely. We were at the hotel in about 45 minutes. We later met several people dragging their bags over the cobblestone streets and complaining about their water bus ride and dragging their bags. We made the right decision. It made life easy for us after a long day of flying and travel.

We arrived at the airport, told to do to the pier, and what boat number we needed, we were also told that because of the high tide we would be droped off at the Rialto bridge and we would have to walk to our hotel. It was raining, we had no idea where we were going and we had our suitcases. We did pay for the extra service which we did NOT get, what a waste of money. We will not recommend this service to anyone, very expensive for the service we got, what a rip off.

The trip was great. The Viator representive was right where they said they were going to be. It was very easy! My only disappointment was the cost of the trip for 4 of us. We overpaid by double, had we gotten a water taxis in venice it would have cost us half as much,

The first person who met us told us that we needed to walk to the port. He did not offer help with pulling our bags. Also, the second one showed us the hotel from a distance. It was easy to find, and that may be the reason he did not comply with the offer that someone would take us to the door of the hotel. Still, worth it.

Absolutely the best way to get to your Venice hotel after a long, tiring flight. We were late getting in and then had to file a claim for lost luggage, but the transfer folks were very accommodating. Worth the price.
