Venice Marco Polo Airport Link Arrival Transfer
Venice, Italy
For that added personalized touch, book a shared boat ride on the Venice Airport Link from Marco Polo Airport to Venice.
The boat stops include:
Piazzale Roma
Carlton
Sabbioni
S.S. Apostoli
Rialto
San Vio, Trinita
S.Marco, S.Zaccaria
S.Maria Elisabetta
Sant'Angelo and Hotel Dei Dogi (for guests staying in this hotel, Residenza Cannaregio or Hotel Ai Mori d'Oriente).
The boat will alter its route (where possible) to drop you at the most convenient stop available to your Venice Hotel. This service is available for minimum 2 travelers. It must be pre-booked at least 48 hours prior to arrival and cannot be arranged when you arrive so get in early and book online today.
When making a booking, you will need to advise your flight details and your Venice hotel details. Your transfer will be confirmed within 24 hours and you will be provided with a travel voucher to present to the driver. It's easy.
Passengers are advised that this is a shared transfer and you may be required to wait up to 30 minutes before transferring to your water taxi and onto Venice stops.

Lovely way to enter Venice, especially as first time we had visited. So well organised that was completely stress free.

Great way to start off the holiday at a reasonable price. Just a shame that we had to sit inside the boat, but still good fun.

One of the highlights of our trip. The most amazing, breathtaking and stress free way of getting to your hotel and seeing Venice for the first time. Would highly recommend it!

The transfer worked really well we just waited about 10 minutes for a lady with her little girl. Be aware that unless you are standing up in the boat that your view is limited but it's still the quickest transfer apart from taking a private taxi which costs a lot more.

Water taxi is absolutely the best way to arrive in Venice. Our shared taxi included one other couple. We had to wait about 20-30 minutes once we arrived at the meeting point for anyone else that booked the shared taxi. I would have given this 4 or 5 stars, except our water taxi driver got pulled over by the water police half way through the ride and we ended up getting stuck for about 30 minutes while the police stopped our driver and checked everything aboard the boat and all his paperwork and then wrote him a ticket. The reason I booked this in the first place was to get to Venice as quickly as possible since we had a limited amount of time there, so this was particularly frustrating and there was nothing we could do about it. I think this was probably a rare instance though, so I would probably book again if I went back.

we went straight to the desk and waited for 5 minutes or so for other passengers, it was a fun way to arrive in Venice and even more fun watching our fellow travellers worried faces on the bumpy ride, we new what to expect from a previous boat taxi ride in Greece

A Fantastic way to start to your holiday. We did have to wait up to an hour at the airport though, by which time we could have arrived by shuttle bus, bus it was worth the wait. Highly recommended, especially if this is your first trip to Venice.

We had a very long wait at the airport for other travellers to arrive from other flights. In the end there were 12 of us for the transfer which meant it was very crowded and not a comfortable experience.

The taxi was easy to locate and really impressive, a quick journey and very hospital driver, would recommend this but do book a return as we didn't and the taxi guys wanted double the price to book at the canal to go back, so we had to get a water bus!

I booked the weekend in Venice as a surprise for my partners birthday, and thought the boat ride from the airport would add a special touch to the weekend. When we cleared customs it was a few yards to the Viator desk and they efficiently and quickly told us what we needed to do and where to go. It was a 4 minute walk to the boat and we were cheerfully helped on board by our driver. We were the only 2 passengers on board so it was lovely to have the boat to ourselves. The driver must have radioed ahead to the Hotel Canal Grande to let them know we were arriving as there was a lovely welcome committee waiting to greet us at the landing deck outside the hotel. The boat ride was about 30 minutes from the airport and a very special way to get your first glimpse of this beautiful city. My partner said he felt like James Bond sailing up to the Hotel. Thank you Viator for a very slick and efficient service. We shall use you again.

Off the airplane with directions to find the location spot on-sorted in a couple of minutes and told where to go, with another couple, and their young boy and straight onto the boat, after a 5 minute walk, and straight to the door of the hotel. Worth the extra money - a little disappointed not going past St marks- but had seen it a few times before. Excellent!

November 2011
First of all we had to wait at the airport for more than half an hour until we were instructed how to get to the boat. We and two pther couples found our way to the boat and we were asked to wait for four more people which took another 15 minutes. Not only four people arrived but 8 more!!! It was very very tight in the boat. Two people were standing outside. The ride itself was quick but very scary as well. It was dark and the driver drove the boat very fast so I was worried sometimes that we might have an accident. I was happy when we arrived the hotel. The journey was quick and the boat stopped right in front of the hotel. For the money we paid I expected a more comfortable version of travellling to the hotel by boat. Next time I will take the public bus from the airport to venice and I will recommend to friends to take the bus!

Not quite clear where to board water taxi. The group was given a number which didn't appear to relate to anything we could see on arrival at the pier, however once on board the service was good.

The only way to connect from the airport to Venice, had to wait about 1/2 hours before we left after arriving at the airport. Your are dropped off from the main canal to the closest stop for your hotel.

The transfer was much less than you'd pay if you were to get a private taxi yourself but you should look into the water busses. They are much cheaper and go to the same locations that these taxis will take you too and you dont need to wait for all the flights to arrive before they pack you into the boat. we sat there for over an hour waiting for others to arrive before they even loaded the boat.

I was really disappointed with my arrival transfer. After had to wait about 30 minutes we were 14 adult passengers with lots of luggage on board. I think it is not fair to put so many people in one boat for such a price. We didn't feel safe or comfortable. Disappointed.

This the way to go. For about half the fare normally charged to travel the distance in a Water Taxi you get the same service. You have to share the boat with others, but in our case everyone was going to the Rialto Boat Stop anyway. We would recommend it to others.

This was a great way to arrive at our hotel. The boat is much faster than the larger boats and less expensive than a private transfer.

It was reassuring to know that we would not have to worry about how to get to Venice from the airport. We just went to the Viaggi booth and wer given a voucher and with four other travellers were directed to our boat. It was a very pleasant journey . We were dropped off at the Rialto Bridge, close to our hotel. The best way to arrive in Venice!!!
