Excellent - long day but well worth it - very good guide

I would recommend this trip. It even include hotel pick-up and drop-off. Very long bus ride, but Prague is a beautiful city and well worth the trip. Local guide has shown us most of the highlights of the city but it was hard to understand his accent. Not enough time to visit castle or do much in the city.

A long day's outing but we stopped frequently en route for food and refresment breaks. The city of Prague was wonderful to see and the guide was very infomative. Our departure was delayed by 40 minutes due to one of the participants not understanding the departure time explained in English. Perhaps the operator should give clearer written notices so that everyone understands these important issues

The trip was ok. But the local guide could be better. You waste most of the time in traveeling and hardly get any time to see around on your own.

The day trip was well worth it! - Tour guide in Prague hard to understand due to heavy accent when talking in English- Bus tour guide very informative and language easily understood. Not enough time in Prague and too long on the bus back and forth.

Tour left on time. I understood that tour guide would give extensive comments/description of countryside as we had a long road trip to/from Prague--we were given a small amount of commentary instead. Local tour guide in Prague was like an automation-spewing out dry facts as fast as he could-which didn't make for a good tour.

Were always aware there would be alot of time spent travelling, however even so, not enough time allocated for visiting Prague (number of people per one guide did not help this situation).

The trip with our Vienna guide as far as Prague was wonderful. She was extremely friendly and helpful. She answered many questions and gave us lots of information. The guide in Prague was a little disappointing. When asked a question he just repeated the previous sentence. his English was limited and in fact some of the information he gave us was incorrect. Ov erall though the tour was well organised and a great experience.

The guide was very knowledgable and spoke several languages. We thought however that we were on an English language tour and it was somewhat annoying to hear the same info in two or three languages with each point of interest. The most disappointing part of the trip was when the guide had to ask us where we were picked up from and then him telling us he did not know that hotel. How can he not have a list of the hotels and a list of passengers and where they were picked up from in the morning? He asked us for info on the way to Prague and still had no clue on the return trip to Vienna. Very frustrating.

Prague is possibly the most beautiful city I've ever seen - Paris included. The guide was knowledgeable and local once we got to Prague. I wish we had planned to spend the night and do two days here. A day well spent - a "must see" city.

The tour started on time and the transportation was good. Hans the guide has some very strong opinions but very friendly. I wouldn't recommend this tour due to the fact that you just go for a walk, you don't really "see" anything. My recommendation would be to spend two days. If you want to say you were there... take this tour.

Very tiring and not at all suitable for a day trip. Would advise my friends against this trip. Were not permitted to use washroom on the bus._br/_ We also took the Vienna sightseeing tour on June 28, 2011. While we were picked up from our hotel in the morning, we were left to fend for ourselves on the way back, even though we were clearly told that we would be picked up from and dropped back to the hotel at the time of booking.

Prague was beautiful - the tour was the best possible given the time constraints - unfortunately it doesn't give you enough time to really expolore anything or take your time strolling through the beautiful city. The early lunch break while understandable was a bit too early but they did give you an opportunity to get a snack before leaving the city. The local guide was ok, the guide from Vienna was excellent.

Great way to squeeze a lot into a short amount of time. Be sure to give yourself a break in between long tours to rest. We were on the go for many days straight and it was difficult.

Prague was fabulous. The local guide in Prague was really good. The guide on the motor coach was inexperienced and could answer questions we asked. The guide on the motor coach could have been much better.

Perfect in every way. Just enough time for the trip. Pick up from hotel timely. Tour guide Dietmark was so knowledgeable, I felt like I had a crash course in the history of Prague. This is a must do if you have limited time to visit Prague.

Long drive which is longest of the bus tours and runs the risk that the driver will exceed hours and you could find yourself pulled over for a rest stop for the driver. City is beautiful. Not enough time to visit principal cathedral, Jewish cemetery or Infant of Prague.

The trip though long due to lack of motorway took us through wonderful countryside. Prague we loved in spite of the very heavy rain with an excellent guide. A very lively town, wonderful architecture and for those interested in shopping, it was excellent. Patricia and David McErlean

We had the best tour guide on the whole Europe trip. He was so informative and knowledgeable, he talked the whole time, to and from Prague! The local guide in Prague was a waste, no one could understand what he said, and he was going so fast it was hard to keep up.

If it had not been for our guide, the ride up and back would have been boring. He was great! He was full of facts, stories, the history of Bohemia, the Hapsburgs, Prague, Vienna...I could go on. He was like Professor Baer in "Little Women". Our driver and our Prague local guide were also superb. Because of traffic on the highway, we detoured to some smaller roads, and my group got to see a lot of smaller Czech villages and countryside and it was wonderful. Thanks!

Tour guide was very informative while travelling on the tour bus, which was very comfortable. The local guide was very informative. Found the old city center to be very pretty. My husband and I would not have done this on our own, this day trip made it every easy to do. Totally enjoyed it.

Praha is a beautiful ancient city. Transit time is long 7.15-noon 4.15-9pm on bus up to an extra hour for hotel pick up time required vs. total 4 hours in Prague, but for a quick trip it is well worth it. In hindsight I should have stayed in Prague and day-tripped from there as Praha by night would be a doubly good experience. Guides were excellent, great historical background knowledge.

Most beautiful city. The tour gave the opportunity to see the highlights of the city and hear all about its history. However it would have been useful to ensure that people knew how strenuous the walk through the city is as a few older people could not complete it.

Visiting Prague from Vienna is a must-do, but our time spent there was too short. We did not have time to really shop and had barely enough time to get something to eat on the run. We only managed some time for browsing the main streets. This tour should leave for Prague earlier.

This tour probably approaches the outer limit for a "day trip" as it involves about 4.5 hours of bus travel each way for about 3.5 to 4 hours of actual time in Prague. That said, this trip is definitely worth doing for anyone on a limited time budget. The scenery in the Czech Republic is quite pleasant, which makes the drive seem shorter. There is a very good walking tour of the main highlights of the city, and then free time to explore on one's own. Prague is a gem, and this tour is a very feasible way to see it from Vienna. Definitely recommended.
