Excellent half-day trip. A 'half-hour "coffee pause' would be appreciated. We liked much also your efficiency and efforts to make clients comfortable. Good hotel pick-up. Best wishes for 2012!

The trip itself was amazing, but we requested an English guidance, but unfortunately the group guide spent significantly more than half of the time talking in German with a very little group of people, and specially with one couple. Definitely, we lost a lot of interesting information. I think is important to clarify that the guide for the part of the excursion at the underground lake was very descriptive and interesting. There were no problems with the explanations at all.

An interesting tour through the monastery with an informative tour guide. The underground lakes were interesting but as we had visited a natural cave with boat trip in Co Fermanagh N Ireland, it was not a novelty to us.

I were very disappointing because you conduct this tour in four languages at a time, we waste our so much time. For one information we have to wait at least 15 minutes. At the time of booking you not mention that you conduct this tour in four languages at a time, we take simply English option but one guide translate each line in four different languages.

Vienna, Austria has always been one of our most favorite European cities and this tour proved that there are so many interesting and beautiful sights outside of the city as well.

Not enough look at the Vienna Woods. Felt we spent too long at the monastery. It was always a problem getting everyone back to the coach. The See Grotto was excellent. However, our guide was very good and full of information.

Great tour, really enjoyed it especially Mayerling and the monastery. Would have liked to have seen cemetry where Mary Vetsera buried, and have had a little time in the village of Mayerling itself. But was a good half day trip, and our guide Hans was very informative and good fun.

A wonderful experience - we were collected from our hotel punctually and driven the short distance to the coach terminus for the start of the tour. Vienna Woods was just beautiful in the snow. Mayerling was interesting, as was the monastery. We had a brief glimpse of Liechtenstein castle before proceeding to the underground caves and boat journey on the lake. A really enjoyable half day excursion.

The underground lake was the highlight, that guide was amazing. The rest of the trip was boring and we sdtayed on the bus nearly the whole time. The guide had no personality. Better for over 50's.

We loved this tour! They picked us up at the hotel and we were off. It was a beautiful day too! Beautiful scenery, gothic church and a suprise I didn't expect. We went into an old mine with canals. Hitler took it over to build planes. chilling and creepy. Some unexpected history There were even bits and pieces of the planes left.

This is a great use of a half day in Vienna. In a fairly short time, you get a feeling for the local landscape and towns. It's true that there's not enough time to really see the two monasteries, but there's plenty of time for the really unusual part of the trip -- the underground lake. In addition to the lake itself, there is an extensive tour of the mine, which was used by the Germans during World War II to construct aircraft, a bit of important history you don't normally see. I must also compliment the guide, who skillfully juggled 4 languages during the tour.

This was truly outstanding. We will remember it all our lives. It would have been nice to have a coffee and bathroom break after the first hour by the time we got to the monastery, we were in great need of these services! Still, this is an experience not to be missed.

We had a wonderful trip. It was really quite nice to get out and see the countryside. FYI - we had an included dinner in Grinzing, supposedly in the Vienna Woods too - while at one time this was the woods today it is in the middle of the city. So don't count on this for your opportunity to see the woods.

A very nice short trip, though mind you I was beginning to get tired of even more monasteries & churches since I had already done the Danube Valley Day Trip. For me the best part was the trip into the mine, which felt like a bit of an adventure. It has quite a history, having been taken over by the Nazis in 1944 to develop a fuselage for a jet aircraft. The unsuccessful project was abandoned at the end of the war. The trip through the lake was amazing too. I was, however, disappointed that there wasn't a more wildlife element to the tour, but the very nature of fauna in the wild is that they're unpredictable, so maybe it wasn't possible. Still I would have liked to learn more about the flora & fauna of the region. The hills of the Vienna woods are considered to be the foothills of the Alps & the countryside we drove through when we eventually got off the motorway was indeed very pretty.
