We had a wonderful time on this winery bike tour. Our tour guide Sasha, was lots and lots of fun, full of fun stories to share, and really knew her stuff on the area wines._br/_ There were 4 of us 50+ year olds, and we held our own with the younger crowd. _br/_ The only improvement we would have made was perhaps more winery stops. A true highlight from our trip!

We absolutely LOVED this tour - probably our favorite part of our entire week in Austria. Our tour guide, Sasha, was fantastic - very knowledgeable, friendly and funny. We really enjoyed getting to know some of the other people on the tour with us. And of course the wine tastings and scenery were just incredible!! This was SO worth the money, and a day absolutely well spent. Really can't say enough about how much we enjoyed it - do yourself a favor and book this tour now!

Fantastic day out! _br/_ This was the best thing we did while visiting Vienna. We had also been on a boat tour through the Wachau valley, but you see the scenery so much better when cycling through the wine terraces yourself. The cycling is very easy - all nice safe cycle paths and short distances (we rode 6km, 6km, 600m total). We went to three wineries and tasted a total of 11 wines (almost entirely white as that is primarily what is made in this region) along with some schapps, marmalade and mustard. Our tour guide, Josh, was really knowledgeable about the region and very nice and approachable; and the group size (about 18 I think) was perfect for getting to know the other people on the tour. One of the best things is that the tour company is not attached to the wineries so they are not trying to flog you the wines - if the guide recommends a wine, it's because they like it! I really can't recommend this tour enough, it was lots of fun and we saw the most breathtaking scenery while tasting the Wachau region's amazing wines... perfect!

We had the best time and was truly a highlight of our trip. I will say I would not recommend this tour if you are not a fan of white wines though. The bike ride and views were amazing not to mention meeting others and enjoying some wine.

My wife and I really enjoyed the day. from start to finish all was great. We could have ridden much longer , we really had a great time. The ride was 95% on a slight decline so you really did not have to work at all on the bike. Lots of fun!

We were a group of 23 colleagues who went on this tour in connection with our stay in Vienna. I cannot recommend it highly enough! The company was extremely professional to deal with and even had tandem bike waiting on our group for 1 who was unsure about biking. The trip was not too strenuous (we were between 61 and 28 yrs of age), absolutely gorgeous and relaxing. Our American guide, Gretel, was extremely knowledgeable of the area and of wines and with her service-mindedness and sweet humor, our day was a success.We stopped at various vineyards for tasting, went through a wine cellar, etc.and even if your interest is not wine, you would enjoy the trip. We only lacked Maria from the Sound of Music to make it more perfect!

Trip was both fun and interesting, and our tour guide was fabulous, friendly and knowledgeable. Not sure it should be called a wine tasting tour though as you only taste wine at two places. There is also a focus on eating sausages, sampling jams, and great hot chocolate. Perfect amount of time on the bikes, and well worth the money.

We visited Venice, Vienna, and Prague and the wine tour to the Austrian countryside was by far my favorite part of my vacation. We toured with some wonderful people from all over the world, including Adam (guide), the quintessential Aussie! We tasted great wines, visited provincial towns, and learned the history of the area, all while getting some exercise! I would HIGHLY recommend this once-in-a-lifetime tour!

We booked for October so did't expect glorious weather; nonetheless, when the day dawned cold & drizzly, we nearly cancelled. I'm very glad we didn't as we had a wonderful day. Nice scenery, good guide (who cooked a fine BBQ lunch), interesting wines and enjoyable international company - so good that when we got back to Vienna at 7pm we all promptly went out together for the evening. A great day.

Clearly, this was the highlight of our trip to Vienna. Gretel was wonderful. Her composure never left her, even when we had to transfer trains 5 times (due to a train derailment before we arrived) instead of once. Wines were good, scenery breathtaking, and the optional 20 minute climb up to Durnstein castle was strenuous, but doable. The bike ride was VERY easy and I'm 65. A very companionable group helped make this a memorable and worthwhile trip.

There were 6 of us Canadians on a fun one-day bike and wine trip in the Wachau Valley. This valley has the Danube River running through it we even had time for a swim! and it was beautiful. Adam, our Aussie ex-pat guide was outstanding. He was patient, easy going and very informative. His endless supply of wine on the train ride back to Vienna was outstanding. Overall, i would highly recommend this trip. The people, the scenery, the exercise and Adam - made this a very worthwhile day trip.

This was actually the best tour we ever did , guide Adam was great . There were no hills to climb on bikes and not far to bike . The BBQ was well worth the 7 euro and the view from where we had it was amazing . The Austrian wine is so nice and you do not get hangover which is great . The whole area we covered was lovely and it was a great day .

This was a great day out, with a great group. The leader was very knowledgeable about the wines we sampled, and kept us well informed and measured the pace well. The bikes seemed to be well maintained, and the cycling wasn't too arduous.
