We loved our day of hopping-on and off so much we signed up for an amazing evening tour! With the same guide, Adam. During the cool damp days it was nice to be able to be warm and dry and not have to sit in an open upper deck.

Our Trolley tour was amazing. We loved the drivers and how knowledgeable and funny they were. We learned so much! We have been to the city many times and we saw places we hadn't seen. We loved being able to get off where we wanted or stay on the bus. It was definitely worth every penny. We are from PA and we met our family that traveled from IL. They too loved the trolley tour and we would all happily do it again next time we come to the city. Thank you!

The driver/narrators were great. Both knowledgeable and entertaining. Good coverage of all the major memorials and other sites. Excellent commentary on the buildings and other sites as we drove along the streets. Easy to get off and back on- not a very long wait.

We had a wonderful experience with two tours.....the night tour and a two day tour. Unfortunately we weren't able to see all the 25 exhibits. Next time. The tour guides were all fantastic and incredibly full of knowledge. Bella, on our night tour, was on her first ever tour and she was excellent. Jorge, also, was on a maiden voyage. He too was expert. Please feel free to take these tours you will totally enjoy yourselves.

The communication btw the traveler and your company leaves something to be desired. The information received from the driver Dave was incorrect. When asked where we wait for the next morning hotel pickup I thought he knew what he was talking about but he did not causing us to scramble for a ride. After numerous calls to your office and keeping a dispatcher on the line for 20 minutes we finally got on the shuttle._br/_ The information disseminated to customers as to where to catch the trolley at the welcome center varied and was incorrect. Thanks to Sunny for all her help. She is one of a kind and certainly helped to make us feel better about our situation. Kudos to her and her assistance in obtaining a VIP pass for us and an extra day.

I believe that my party enjoyed having the bus driver telling us about things and adding some humor to it as well. I think that the connection to Arlington Cemetery was a bit awkward, but it was a cold day, so we were not as comfortable with waiting. Busses were clean, the drivers were friendly, and I did enjoy all the information, and helpful suggestions, about food, etc.

I'm late giving this review but my memory is in tact. The guided tour for Arlington Cemetary was great! My issue was with the Hop On, Hop off Trolley. They did not have enough Trolley's to accommodate the number of people who purchased that day. I waited in line for nearly an hour and called them numerous times. I wasted time in my day waiting for trolley's that came but due to there being 50 people in line before mr I had to wat for 3 Trolley's. I DO NOT RECOMMEND purchasing this, you're better off taking Uber if you value your time. This experience left such a bad taste in my mouth I will NEVER do a Hop on Hop off Bus/Trolley again!

We just bought the day tour. It was a rainy day but they had the windows covered and the trolley was warm. Driver was informative but alot to see while driving. So worth riding a few loops. He was very clear about pick up stops !! so thank you. I recommend plus they have a great gift shop at stop 1

I don't think we could have seen what we did without the Hop-On Hop-off Trolley. My only criticism was trying to find the bus, especially at the Arlington stop. Asked several guides and none had specific information. The drivers were super friendly and helpful once on the bus.

Took the tour because we wanted to visit the Arlington Cemetery. The tour was very good but really you could easily do it all yourself. Metro to Arlington, metro to the city centre. Easy enough to walk and see Lincoln Memorial brilliant and all the surrounding tourist spots, ie White House, Washington Memorial etc. They are very close to each other

Totally not worth 40 each person. The distances are long in DC at the Mall but for 3 people taking a lyft or taxi would have been more convenient AND MUCH less expensive. The drivers are nice and informative and fun, and it's a cool ride....but not worth over 100 for the 3 of us...especially since for each stop you spend hours....so, you're only on the bus for a very short time. Cool service, and fun, just not at all worth the money if you have a crew

The concept is great but needs tweaking. The tourist needs to know where the bus picks up/drops off. It took us forever and 3 phone calls to find where the bus would be at Capitol Hill. There were no instructions on the ticket that we bought online.

Booked online. Tickets and directions were received online. No map and minimal info were provided . It was extremely difficult to locate pick up stops. Obtaining tickets and maps were impossible. We had to transfer from the Arlington cemetery bus to the regular bus. There was an extremely long wait . When a bus finally came, it stopped in the wrong space with a mad rush to get on. Very unhappy...I don't know what was going on, but trip to Arlington was very disjointed. We were left sitting at Arlington for over 45 minutes waiting for a bus. There were over 50 people in line, too many for one bus. Calls were made to the main office for another bus and they didn't have one. When a bus showed up the driver said that the other driver was on lunch break. Would not use them ever again. Lots of wasted time.

Just returned from DC and thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Take this tour your first day to get an idea of what DC is all about and what you might like to see later. The driver tells you all about the monuments and history of the city along the tour. On your second go around, you can hop off the trolley and visit a museum or monument. Hop back on the trolley every 30 minutes and go see something else. You can not walk around unless you are an athlete, this city is huge. If I ever return, I will take this trolley again.

My party exited the Metro at Smithsonian. The Trolley representative was just setting up the kiosk at 10:00am. She insisted that she take the voucher I had printed on my computer, so print two! Or do as we did and take a photo of it. We needed it! When we got to Arlington Cemetary, we found out that we were supposed to have gotten another, separate pass for the tour there. We had to go back to the visitors center and fill out paperwork for replacement tickets. Good thing we had the photo! The voucher I had also stated we were entitled to a coupon book--never got one. Neither the website or the representative mentioned the necessity of those extra tickets. We almost missed the changing of the guard at theTomb of the Unknowns. That little fiasco was unnecessary and inconvenient. The rest of the day was perfect and I highly recommend the Hop-on, Hop-off trolley. Take a full lap the first time so you can decide where you want to get off and explore. We especially liked Bama Tracey and his narration of what we were passing. His voice was clear and easy to understand. Very nice guy! Thank you for your service to our nation, Tracey!

Train trolley tour of Arlington National Cemetery was exceptional. _br/_ I would have preferred a bit more information on how to transfer from train trolley to Hop-On-Hop-Off trolley._br/_ May help to inform tour passengers that the trolley does not stop at Jefferson Memorial or Wash. Monument -- only near the Lincoln Memorial. Expect a very long walk between memorials. Magnificent and magical view from Lincoln Memorial to WA Monument.

This was the only tour we did that was a bit disappointing! It was as if the driver was trying to hard to be funny, kept repeating his shtick and it became a distraction from the sights! We finally got off and walked! We've done this before in other cities and it was great!

Hop-on-Hop-off buses are always my favorite way to check out a new city, and this one was no exception I always choose trolley tours over the big buses when I have the choice. The drivers are always knowledgeable and friendly and I love being able to kick back and enjoy the highlights without having to worry about driving.

The tour was very good and did not have too wait too long for the next trolley. The one downside was that the sound systems were not great and it was a little difficult to understand what the guide although the guides were good and some added some humor which made it more interesting and fun. The OTT Hop-on/Hop-off tour is the best value in the city for tours of DC. The drivers and guides are excellent, the buses are excellent for shooting pics of all the famous sights. The tour covers almost everything of importance in the core downtown area including travel to Arlington. That was invaluable to me, saving extras in transportation expenses. DC is a huge city and getting from one site to another takes a long walk, so the tour buses definitely saved me travel time. I highly recommend to anyone wondering if these are worthwhile - believe me they are!

We had originally booked the hop on hop off tour for one of our two days in D.C. But it was so convenient, and with so many more places to see, we bought the same tour for the second day too. It sure beats walking between all the 25 sites. The drivers were very courteous and we especially enjoyed Sunny, who drove the big trolley, for her amazing and educational talks as we rode. Only criticism is that when I called before our trip wondering if all 4 of us needed to carry the printed vouchers all day long, the person I talked to said we did I asked if it could be converted to tickets and she said no. However when we arrived at the Viator stop at the beginning of the day, we showed the vouchers, got stickers on our clothing and we were off! Wish I'd known that beforehand. All in all a great tour.
