Catskiing means skiing and
snowboarding fresh tracks and
great powder because you
travel by snowcat.
Snowcats (or "cats") are the
machines you see grooming ski
hills. But these
modified versions have a
heated passenger cabin able to
transport you into
the Whistler area backcountry in
comfort.
The snowcat takes you to some
of the best untracked snow in
the area. When you go cat
skiing you always get first
tracks.
The only people you see are
your friends and the guides.
No crowds, no lift lines, just
powder!
For most people the regular
Whistler
Cat Skiing package is the
best option. But if you have a
group of 10-12 people then the
Private
Cat Skiing deal is fantastic.
Whistler cat skiing is
available from December to
April (depending on snow
conditions).
