Enjoy four days in England's beautiful Lake District! You'll stay  three nights at Lindeth Howe Country House Hotel, located near Lake Windermere. Views over the lake and to the fells are spectacular at any time of the year.

Your four-day Lake District Discovery includes the Ten Lakes Spectacular tour on day two and  the High Mountain Passes Spectacular Tour on day three. This tour focuses on the Western Lake District and is certainly an adventure! Over the Wrynose and Hardknott passes, the steepest in England, you'll stop to view the extraordinary remains of Hardknott Roman Fort'1,000 feet (305 meters)up on the feels.

Walk through the fort and see the spectacular view to Upper Eskdale, Scafell and Scafell Pike, England's highest mountains.  You will embark on the famous miniature Ravenglass and Eskdale railway before breaking for lunch at a traditional country inn. In the afternoon your tours continues towards "Britain's Favourite View", Wastwater; England's deepest and most dramatic lake.

The final destination is the splendid 14th-century Muncaster Castle surrounded by its internationally acclaimed gardens and famous attraction the World Owl Trust.

The beautiful scenery of the Coniston Fells and Coniston Water bring to an end this classic Lake District tour.

the tour for the 2 days was good. however, the hotel itself on its own is lovely but the room 201 they put us in was an attic room and small - cant imagine anyone calling it a superior room. we asked for a change of room but was decline even when guests have checked out on the 2nd and 3 rd nights- disappointed..............now when i go back dont think i want to stay despite dinner served was good.......

This trip was well worth every penny. As a first time solo traveller I was nervous about joining a tour and staying in a hotel on my own. But all my fears were put to rest from the moment I arrived. The hotel was fantastic. My room had superb views, was spotlessly clean and the hotel staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. The tours were fascinating, the tour guides were interesting, amusing and just generally great. I cannot sing high enough praises for everyone involved who all contributed towards making my holiday one that I will not forget in a long time. Even the delightful waitress in the hotel restaurant. I arranged at the last minute to go on an additional tour and this was arranged without any problems as well

Excellent hotel! The service was excellent as well! The trip could improve to match what is expected from the title. The guides could perhaps be better prepared!
