Immerse yourself in a world of mountains and valleys, alpine lakes and meadows, waterfalls, gorges, caves and fascinating scenic reserves on a guided coach tour to Heidiland. Your full day tour includes a city tour of Zurich, Rapperswil's Old Town, the Toggenberg region and Liechtenstein Principality.

After first doing a city tour of Zurich we follow Lake Zurich to Rapperswil, the city of roses. We visit the picturesque Old Town and its medieval castle; you will also have some time at leisure here. Then after crossing the Ricken Pass with its panoramic views of the Alps we reach the lovely Toggenberg region whose pretty hill and valley scenery is perfect chocolate box material!

In Vaduz, the capital of the tiny Principality of Liechtenstein you will have more time at leisure. A visit to the Post Office is recommended; the famous stamps from this tiny state are coveted worldwide by philatelists and amateur stamp lovers alike. And finally we arrive at Maienfeld, the setting for the Heidi stories. In the summer months we can visit Heidi's village. A pleasant short walk leads to a collection of typical mountain houses, a village shop, and of course lots of little goats. Entry into the authentic Heidi House is optional.

A beautiful trip back to Zurich along the banks of Lake Walen, guarded over majestically by the Churfirsten mountain range brings to a close this most nostalgic of Swiss tours.

Honestly, this was our favorite tour of the week. We really enjoyed the view from the Heidi house and surrounding areas, and the stop in Liechtenstein was unforgettable. Excellent tour!

Really bad experience with tour guy. We have not gone to Heidiland because he said it is closed in winter!!! Hahaha.... I took this trip because I want to go Heidiland. Even it is closed, why he didn't took us to there n let us take picture!?

A very good tour to see the landscape and a bit of history of Switzerland. Knowledgeable tour guide with a good driver too. Don't forget to get your passport stamped at Liechtenstein. Will definitely recommend this tour.

Unfortunately we had a guide who is a bit insensitive to clients. Passed negative comments and made personal jokes were not appealing. We commented this to the supervisor and was relieved that she takes a personal interest in this and apologized for the whole affair.

This was an absolutely wonderful day trip! A beautiful way to get out of the city and see so much of what Switzerland has to offer! Liechtenstein in my opinion was an added bonus as this trip would have been just as wonderful without including it on the itinerary. Our tour guide was great and we had more than enough time to explore on our own leisure. I would recommend this day trip to anyone!

Comfortable coach and well organized, and beautiful drive through the countryside. The Zurich city tour is a bit unnecessary. Stop in Rapperswil was nice. Brief stop in Vaduz was just near some shops, which was a bit odd. Guide was enthusiastic and had good knowledge.

This is a great tour for seeing the history and landscape of Switzerland. A little bit of everything, both urban and rural. The guide was great, very knowledgeable in history and customs of the country. This is the best way to go, no driving direction problems, no parking headaches, just sit back, enjoy the ride, and have a wonderful time. The Swiss Cheese Pie is a must try.

I picked the tour mainly for photography, but was really disappointed, the guide was ok, but we had only 30min in the Heidiland, there was some walk to do there, but it took 2 hours too, I felt like iIve spent all the day on the bus, the first part of Zurich was useless, any one can do it by him self, we just wasted time, i don't recommend this tour.

We wanted to go to Liechtenstein and this was an easy way to do it. The scenery was lovely and the bonus stop at the church that had Chagall's windows was wonderful. The guide was quite good. The Heidiland part was only so so but again, the scenery was lovely.

This tour provided views of the lower areas of the Alps, all green and rolling land. It was a beautiful tour and our guide was knowledgeable. It was fun to say I visited Liechtenstein (make sure you pay to get your passport stamped). There is a lot of time spent driving to get to the various stops, but the scenery was absolutely beautiful on the way.

This tour began with a tour around Zurich, so it's really even more than the title states. We wanted to get into the mountains, but live in a snowy state and have seen glaciers in Alaska, so we didn't feel the need to go to Jungfrau. This tour really met out needs to get away from the city and see how the Swiss live and vacation in smaller towns and on the hill / mountainsides! The LIechtenstein stop could've been a bit longer. Heidiland included a nice walk in beautiful scenery! The guide Don Pedro was excellent, knowledgeable and humorous!

Loved the whole tour. We were worried about finding you in Zurich, but found the city tours spot easily. Thoroughly enjoyed the views of the Alps and the Rhine valley. Loved Liechtenstein and the city tour of Zurich. We had beautiful cool weather. The flowers at Rapperswill were in full bloom inspite of having had a snowfall the week before. Was not as impressed with the Heidiland portion of the tour, but the beauty of the Alps more than made up for it. Husband said he liked Switzerland tour better than any part of our Mediterranean cruise which preceded it.

This was a wonderfully beautiful tour. The scenery was spectacular. Our guide was very knowledgable. Our lunch break was just the right length of time that allowed us to see some of the town of Rapperswil. Our guide recommended a delicious cheese pie at one of the restaurants which I throughly enjoyed. I wish I could have sampled all the restaurants but could not. Heidiland was beautiful. However, the walk from the bus to Heidi's house was more treacherous than the guide suggested. It would have been better to walk along the road or pavement than the short cut through the field on the narrow path that sometimes was a bit difficult, especially for older people who have difficulty maintaining their balance. Nevertheless the scenery and area were beautiful to see. It would have been nice to have more time in Lichtenstein to sample the shops and maybe grab a snack to eat. As it were we really only had time to get our passport stamped and mail a few cards.

This trip may or may not be worth taking. The company was OK. Our first tour guide had some health problems and was unable to progress after about the first half of the city tour. This delayed our trip and we were not reimbursed any money or offered a new city tour to fill us in on the details we missed due to her illness. The replacement guide was very entertaining, but I don't feel like there was that much that we learned that we couldn't have gotten from a book and train trip through the countryside to Lichtenstein. The Heidi house was fine, but not anything that exciting. I think only about a quarter of the people on the tour with us even went into the house or museum. There was about an hour and a half where we were sitting on a quiet bus, no information was being provided and we just looked out the window. Fine, but for a lot less money you could do this trip yourself!

Excellent guides but Hediland was a tad unremarkable and the tour to Liectenstien was very cursory. Not a tour I would recommend as being of any great interest. As to the tour of Zurich...there are far better ways to do that part.

This was a lovely day trip. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and had a great sense of humor. We had about 45 minutes in Rapperswil, 45 minutes in Liechstenstein, and 15 minutes in Heidiland. Between locations we took the scenic route which the tour guide also provided some information on. I would have liked an additional 15 minutes in Liechtenstein.

The scenery was beautiful and we really enjoyed the trip. However the hike at Heidiland was too much for one of our members. More information about the difficulty of the walk would have been helpful. Our guide had not done this tour for awhile. Fortunately the driver had and he pointed out to her the things she should call to our attention.

It was a perfect day bright sunshine, cool temperatures with a slight breeze. The scenery was was captivating, changing continually from placid lakes to fields awaking to spring, to mountains still snow covered. The bus ride was comfortable. The guide knowledgeable and personable. We enjoyed visiting the church and castle at Rapperswil and exploring the shopping area of Vaduz. We have already recommended to our friends who will be traveling to Zurich in the fall that they include the tour in their visit.

The tour gave us a panoramic view of Swiss villages nestled in snow-clad mountains and time to shop at Vaduz. The guide was extremely friendly and helpful. I'd recommend this tour to anyone wanting to have a nice, relaxing journey through enchanting mountains and valleys, although they wouldn't get to see Heidi's village since it is far up on the hills.

Went on the Heidiland tour and it was fantastic! Absolutely beautiful scenery and the tour guide was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Only downside was that we didn't get to go inside the Heidi House as it closed by the time we arrived. Nevertheless, I think it was all still worth every penny!! -
