An optional cable car ride (operates only late May - late October) to the sunny terrace of Mt. First at 2168m / 7113 ft is recommended - for a breathtaking panorama of the Bernese Alps. In the late afternoon meet your coach and guide for the return journey to Zurich.

The guide was TERRIBLE! His English did not rate as being an "English speaking tour". He also was not happy that we wanted to stay in Interlaken, our choice of tours, and not take the extra tour to JungFrau. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Interlaken and the time we had in Grindelwald, but we would not take this tour had we know how bad the guide was and how uncomfortable that he made us feel. We would have been better off on our own.

I originally booked the Interlaken - Grindelwald in the Bernese Oberland (from Zurich) tour for Saturday, October 15th 2011. When I boarded the bus, KID (the best guide I have ever met) suggested that I might prefer to to the Jungfraujoch tour instead and explained the difference between the two tours. I agreed to change and pay the difference and I am so glad that I did!! The scenery was breathtaking and I got the most amazing photos. KID was a big part of what made this tour so much fun and fulfilling. He not only knows every photo opportunity moment on the trip, but he really tries his best to take good care of every single person on the tour--no one was neglected. I have already recommended to trip numerous colleagues--I hope that they have the benefit of KID as their guide.

It was amazing day tour with vaitors from Zurich to Jungfrau. Initially I booked my tour till Interlaken; on reaching there, I decided to go further till Jungfrau. My experience with Viator was good, as the tour was conducted in a good double Decker bus. The driver and the tour guide were very friendly. We had a tour guide from Thailand, who was very jovial and kept us entertaining all way the tour. The total tour duration was for 11 hrs and it was a good experience. If you happened to be in Zurich, Jungfrau is the place to visit. I am well satisfied with Viator tour, value for money.

Interlaken is a great place to admire nature at its best, Had great fun here since i took a paragliding trip as well. Grindelwald is a bit boring, very quite and nothing to do.

Our tour guide kept the tour light and fun. Although it was great to walk around Interlaken and Grindelwald, you really need to research on what you can do in these two places. The rest of the tour group went to Jungfrau. We would've had to pay extra to go up there.

The bus allocated for this trip was in very bad shape, lots of flies and a bad smell. My family felt very uncomfortable during travel. The time given for Interlaken is also very small. But tourist guide was very good.

Disappointing tour. I was on the bus and found out that my family and I would be the only ones getting off at Interlaken while the whole tour continued to Jungfraujoch. Then I was upgraded by paying 110 Franks person since I wanted to be part of the tour. On top of that, the tour guide blatanly stated that he wanted me to pay in advance since I wanted to use Visa since he didn't trust me. He also clearly said that the tour in Interlaken sucked which he was right about. I feel cheated and offended. This tour to Interlaken is just a bus ride that you can do on your own. The tour to Jungfraujoch is good value for money and is a fantastic experience but I was put in a bad mood due to my experience with the tour operator.

The scenery was amazing, particularly as the weather was good. However if you are going on a trip that is not the Jungfrau trip, then make sure you research things to do in Interlaken and Grindelwald. They are both lovely places but the tour guide gave little or no information about what to do so it is vital to have done a little homework before you go. You must visit the Alps while in Switzerland though!

We had a great guide and helped everyone get lots of pics of some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen! I should say that we upgraded at the last minute to include Jungfraujoch. I had a mishap at the gift shop but our guide went back the next day and took care of it. I highly recommend this tour!

I love the tour guide and the area is an absolute must-see, but there is too much wasted time. The tour guide was great, kept checking to make sure everyone was okay, and actually suggested I do something besides the planned itinerary for which I am very grateful. The tour itself is part of the Jungfrau mountain tour, it's just that you go to Grindelwald instead of the top of the mountain. There isn't much to Grindelwald and to do this trip as advertised you are there three hours, going after everyone else is dropped off to go to Jungfrau. I spent a fantastic afternoon, having time to see most of what there was to see. The scenery is truly fabulous. One thing they should change is to provide more time on the mountains. Departures from Zurich go first to the center of Lucerne to pick up people and there is a pickup souvenir stop in Interlaken that is a total waste of time. You also lose a lot of time due to being the last to get off the bus and I was told to be in Grindelwald 40 minutes before the Jungfrau people were scheduled to arrive.

The entire tour is perfectly coordinated, from Interlaken where got some rain, but had an excellent breakfast and some shopping, we took the train to Grindelwald. Trust me, you will love not only the ride, but Grindelwald is what I had dreamed that the life at the Alps was like. WOW, but I mean WOW! From shops to restaurants, they just have it all. Do not miss it I was so impressed that I'm planning a summer trip just to Grindelwald.

There were 3 tours combined on one bus with one tour guide. The tour guide was only concerned with the tour going on the train up to the top of Jungfrau. We were pretty much neglected and left on our own.

During the trip to Interlaken our wonderful guide recommended that we go up to the top of Europe on the train through the mountains. It was an extra 110CHF each but I'm glad we did because it turned out to be the most amazing trip ever. Do not take this trip to Interlaken as you will have to hang around for hours waiting for the bus. Book the more expensive trip to the top of Europe. The guide was fantastic, a bundle of energy. Do not come home without going on this trip.

The tour guide was great and knew what he was talking about and was very helpful, it's actually two tours on the same bus. The tour guide leaves you to go to Jungfra with the rest of the group who pay more. They were going to drop us off in Grindelwald which is on the way up and leave us there. Good thing the guide suggested we pay a bit more for a train ticket to get to other towns. We stayed in Interlaken for only 20 minutes. Then we were rushed back on the bus to get the train.

The trip details changed. I ended up adding Jungfrau, which was fantastic thanks to the guide. We had rain, sleet, snow and so much fun. We had lunch at the top of Jungfrau. The guide took our pictures on the train up and down. We went to the ice castle, which was unique. We drove through Grindelwald but did not stop. This was the best day I had in Switzerland!
