With a half day to spare in Zurich, take a side trip by coach to the Rhine Falls. Embark on an optional boat ride and be thrilled - this is Europe's biggest waterfall!

You'll venture to Northern Switzerland close to the German border, as well as driving through the renaissance inspired Schaffhausen. Originating from the 16th century, view the medieval Munot Fortress towering over the city.

Your coach tour will return to Zurich via a stop at the Airport, where departing guests can choose to end their tour.

The Rhine Falls tour offers added value for transiting guests who need to return to Zurich airport for flights departing after 2pm. Check in luggage is permitted on the coach and your airport return will be approximately 12:15pm. See the sites with an airport drop off included. There's no need to purchase an additional transfer!

Alternatively for guests with early morning arrivals at Zurich airport, choose to board the Rhine Falls Tour at 9:30am. You can opt to conclude the tour back at the airport or alternatively Zurich Sihlquai.

The tour to the Rhine Falls was great. We enjoyed the drive through the small village on the way to the falls. Mother Nature helped out with some rain so the falls had lots of water.

If you have only just a few hours to spare this is a good tour. Do take the boat trip to get near the falls as much as possible.

The Rhine Falls are an amazing place to visit for a trip out of Zurich. The extra boat trip is a must to get closer. The coach was very comfortable, and even waited for passengers who were late. The guide was welcoming. They should explain on the website for more frail tourists that there is a 10 minute walk downhill to get to the Falls - I saw one elderly person struggling to walk down and back up to the coach. Downside is that the journey is long to get there so you have just less than one hour at the Falls before you have to leave - it felt very rushed. The journey back was shorter so don't know why they don't take the short route both ways. The airport stop was very handy for us who had flights in the afternoon.

Very good trip and wonderful experience. The boating experience was very good. The biggest water falls I have ever seen.Don't forget to eat Indian samosa and vada pav in stall near to Bus Parking.

This tour was ok, they drive you around telling you all about the local areas. Once you arrive at the falls you have the option of getting a boat to the rock in the middle of the falls. We done this tour before we went to the Airport as we had an efternoon flight, they dropped us at the airport with plenty of time spare before our flight.

Trip was very rushed, only got about 50 min at the waterfalls and all the tour guide kept saying was we must leave on time as the bus is needed for another tour and she was very rude as well to people. Waterfalls were amazing just would not do it with that tour company again and defo would not pay £30 for it.

It was a really good trip and the guide was very good! However, I felt that we were being a little cheated with the boat ticket bought from the guide. The ticket cost 6CHF per person but the actual ticket price was 8CHF per person. Therefore it is recommended that the boat tickets are not bought from the guide. Also, the boat stops at a stone that separates the waterfall! Old people and babies are not recommended to go as it can be dangerous and can be very cramped! But overall was a good expereience.

Very short trip. Airport drop off was very helpful. Felt a little bit rushed as took an hour to drive there and an hour to drive back, so left only 1 hour at the falls and only 10 minutes to climb the rock. But overall, very good.

The tour was much more impressive than I had expected. Everything was very well organized; we left and arrived on time, and our guide was very good. Rhine Falls was stunningly beautiful and not something you expect to come across in western Europe. Plus the tour starts quite early in the morning, and that helps to avoid big crowds.

It was nice. I was under the impression that it would be a very big waterfall as it is the biggest in Europe. A little disappointing, but worth it for the money and also very good if you don't have much time to spare. It's only 3 hours. It's a beautiful place, very scenic. Once there, you must go in the boat to see the waterfall from the top and different angles.

Short and sweet trip for those who have their flights in the evening and have half a day at their disposal. The tour guide was a nice person and was very informative. Great place to visit, too.
