Fantastic trip._br/_ We got super lucky with the weather even though we had a small shower but because of that, the sky was absolutely spectacular._br/_ The ride was super comfy._br/_ Volendam is super cute, the wooden shoe factory was interesting and we really enjoyed the cheese tasting and also bought some

Amazing tour! And made even more fun 'coz of our guides: our all-in-one driver-piano player, singer, photographer, comedian... the one and only Stefi! Accompanied by Giorgio/Santiago! Places we went were so wonderful! We didn't experience any issues during the whole trip, everything is organized. Pink Panda Team, woohooo!

We had a horrible experience with this tour and its operator Lindberg. The city tour was nothing but a scam to drive you by bus, seeing very little of Amsterdam in 3 languages with desciption timing all off, to go to a diamond factory? Really a sales showroom where they lock you in a room to give a hard sell diamond demo. We had to waste the time watching people try on rings etc... the diamond tour wasnt even mentioned in the tour description. Then what we thought was a full day tour turned out to be a 3 hour break before the countryside tour begins. We heard from a customer who took the country tour the day before and she told us it just a short visit to a cheese factory and wood shoe factory to sell you cheese a wood shoes. We were so made about the diamond factory we couldnt take another sales pitch so we decided not to go and gave ourselves a walking tour of Amsterdam that was much better then Lindbergs city tour. Beware of this tour!

It was a wonderful funfilled wholesome day with Steve, Adrian and Helena. They helped us in every possible way to make the most out of our trip. It was extremely detailed covering all highlights for the tour, guiding us to the best places to eat, shop, and spend time judiciously. Extremely happy to be with Steve The Rock, AdrianThe Santa, and sweetest Helena who helped me take loads and loads of Pictures.. Thanks a lot guys for making the day memorable. Nice and concise day trip to these places. Eg. Had a chance to take a photo with a windmill but had to leave within 5-10 mins. The tour inside the windmill was memorable, where we learnt about how the wood were kept in water before retrieving out to saw them using the equipment, generated by the windmill._br/_ If you want to visit these places within a day and do not mind ' touch and go' places, then this trip is worth considering.

This was essentially a two part trip. The first, for about two hours in the morning, a bus tour of the City and a bit of the surrounding countryside. This part was excellent, although the stop at the diamond factory was a waste in our view. The guide on this trip was excellent and since this was our first visit to Amsterdam, the tour was a good introduction to the city and its history. The second part of the tour, in the afternoon, involved a bus ride to the Windmills and then on to two small towns. The guide on this trip was ok, but we also had an audio program that explained the history of how the Netherlands has dealt with its water issues. The Windmills were great. The other two towns, where we saw a demonstration about making wooden shoes and cheese making, were very scenic, but the demonstrations were pretty basic and seemed primarily to be a buying opportunity. A part of the tour was a boat ride to Marken if recalling correctly which seemed to take a very long time. That said, the town itself, was charming. We opted to find our own spot for a few beers and an appetizer rather than going to the restaurant recommended by the guide. We did hear that the food at the restaurant was guite good, as was the food at our option. A long walk to the bus for the trip back to Amsterdam. Overall about a 5 or more hour afternoon. All in all, a worthwhile tour with a few we didn't need to see that moments. The morning bus tour, the Windmills, and the history of how the Netherlands has dealt with its unique situation of being below sea level in many areas were the best features. I would recommend this tour.

The windmills, Volendam, Marken part of the tour was excellent. We saw everything we wanted to in the Dutch countryside. And the guide was excellent and provided much information about Holland. The morning city tour was not so good. It was foggy and you couldn't see more than 10 ft from the bus. They should have cancelled it but they didn't. So if you wake up to a foggy day ask for your money back before taking the city tour.

Great. Loved the windmills
Review by: Green, September 2017
The city Tour- morning portion was disappointing. The guide was translating into 4 languages - so you would only get the name of the building- no information details and were often not sure what building he was talking about._br/_ The Zaanse Schans afternoon was more interesting: Recommended lunch stop was tasty Boat ride was pleasant towns were fun to checkout

Great tour, we had beautiful weather, the windmills gently blew! All parts of the tour ran effectively. Full day and good way to take in as much as possible for a short stay.

I booked this tour wiht the understanding that it would start with the city tour , then I would have have time of 2 hours own my own i n the city and then the afternoon tour will start at 2:30 pm, and when I return from the trip around 8 pm I can do the evening canal tour. It turned out the morning tour ended at 11:45, we were asked to stay on the bus as the second part would start at noon. It was supposed to be a longer 7 hour tour than the 5.5 hours tour that was in the brochure, yet the program was the samw as the 5,5 hr one, the only difference is we were given time at :30 pm to have lunch. The tour at the Zaanse Schans windmills was very rushed. We did not have time to walk around and had to be back on the bus. We sat on the upper deck and it was so hot. The guide was on the lower deck and there was no communications with us up on top. At the windmill, after we finished the tour of the windmill operation, the tour guides were jsut sitting there. I asked which was the way out and was ignored until the bus driver interrupted the guide. we were told to go out to our left ansthey contunued chatting., but there was no way out. We had to go back and asked for direction again.

We did both the city tour and the afternoon tour to the windmills, Volendam, and Marken. Excellent guides. Great information. A highlight was the walk through back streets of Volendam. Our guide really knew the place. The windmills are incredible! This tour is not to be missed!

Excellent Dutch countryside tour covering the windmills at Zaanse Schans, museum visit, demonstration of cheese making and Cheese tasting at Volendam, cruise over the Zuiderzee, a walk through the picture postcard Marken village and a demonstration of traditional clog making. The guide was very helpful and knowledgeable. Worth the effort to walk through Marken village which is very beautiful. Make sure to bring along warm clothes since the Zuiderzee can get pretty chilly even in summer.

Great way to get away from the city center. Zaanse will be forever in my heart. The town smells like chocolate...24 hours a day! Who doesn't like chocolate? Highly recommend!
Review by: Austin M, October 2016
Note: this is two separate tours the company has combined into one. The tour starts with the city tour, which if you do this your last day like we did is kind of pointless. Once the city tour is complete we waited on our bus while everyone from the first tour exited and the group for the new tour came on. This did not take very long, but at this point we were wishing we had the opportunity to sleep in and come on with the second group. The second part of the tour was okay. The afternoon portion includes three stops, the main attractions at each stop are the windmills at the first stop, the cheese factory at the second, and the wooden shoe factory at the third. If you are interested in those three attractions this tour is worth doing one of your first few days in Amsterdam. Otherwise I would just do the latter portion of this tour.

Good country side tour within a day for those who has little time to travel out. Unfortunately, we encountered heavy rain the whole day. We have been trying to avoid getting wet than sight seeing. Too bad.

This was one of our favorite tours. The countryside is beautiful. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I could have used more time at Volendam. That was the lunch stop and it didn't really leave time for seeing the market
Review by: Christine Joyce F, October 2016
I enjoyed this tour! The city tour came first. It was ok. Our guide was very knowledgeable. There is no time for lunch so it would be wise to bring a sandwich. Expect a extensive walking tour of the windmills, Volendam and Marken. Good way to see places up close.

Awesome Windmills and exploring Volendam and Marken. Enjoyed the countryside. I would recommend, due to the amount of walking required on this tour, that you state that in your guide, as there were a few older folks that had a hard time with the walking.
