This was a good investment. I didn't even get to use all of the passes but I used a bunch. I stayed in Amsterdam for 1 week and used this pass a lot.

We got a lot of use out of this pass. The booklet that came with it was also helpful.

The Hollandpass was a great buy. It paid for itself over and over again. Be sure to refer to the book that is provided with the card to ensure that you take advantage of all the discounts. I like that it was good for 30 days. We only used it for 10 days but definitely saved a lot of money.

We have used the Swiss Travel Pass, and it was wonderful. The Amsterdam and Holland Pass didn't seem as useful. Went to the van Gogh Museum. Tickets were free with the pass, but still had to stand in line for about 20 minutes to pick up the free tickets.

Great pass due to hop on hop off bus going nowhere near sites, we were unable to use more than 2 passes. But would have been great if we had gone by local tram

Review by:   Howard S,    August 2017 Review: 1 star rating: I do not recommend this
The was advertised as skip the line however, that does not work at the Van Gogh museum. You still have to stand on the long line there. Also, did not get any savings with the pass. I bought the medium which included 2 gold and 2 silver passes for 65.90. Without the book, the regular price for the 4 places I used the tickets at was 54.50 Euros, which is approximately 64 with today's exchange rate.

This was a fantastic bargain and so easy to use! My family 5 purchased the large package and I with there were a larger one! We enjoyed museums, tours and even a cheese tasting with our tickets. Plus the discount card was well used for additional activities. Highly recommend.

Most definitely worth the money- even once you exhaust your silver and gold tickets, most places give you a discount on the entry fee. The only one I tried that didn't give said discount was the Van Loon Museum, even though it was on the list.

I booked the large pass with three gold and three silver tickets. Even though we were there for three whole days, there wasn't enough time to get around the variety of attractions. Also, I should have chosen the 'Amsterdam' rather than the Holland Pass. The lack of a travel card for the tram/bus was a big disappointment. If, like us, you are visiting Amsterdam for the weekend, chose the Amsterdam Pass and don't over-estimate how many things you can do. Amsterdam is very accessible and just wandering the streets and people watching is very enjoyable. you won't need to have tickets for everything. If you do, I would recommend Rembrandt's house and the botanical gardens as two things which don't get as much publicity as the Van Gogh or Rijksmuseum.

This does not give you skip the line privileges. Instead of the 3 hour line you can wait for 1 hour. It does provide entry tickets to various venues the entry tickets still need to be exchanged at ticket windows.

Having the Skip the Line: Amsterdam and Holland Pass worked well for our recent trip to Amsterdam. The thing is, you have to know that you'll be able to use the passes that you buy. We almost had to sacrifice one Silver Ticket loss of maybe 20 because we thought we would run out of time, but luckily we ended our walking tour within meters of the canal tour, so could use the silver for that. If you plan on going to the Anne Frank house, you need to make reservations weeks in advance even if you plan on using the pass. The Rijksmuseum pass worked well and saved us a lot of time. We didn't have time to use any of the discounted attractions offered with the pass, but in the end, the pass paid for itself and gave us some savings. I would recommend picking it up at the airport --easier than finding a place downtown.

Had to figure out a little on how to use this but after I did I got my money's worth. In one of the books it said I could use the pass to get a discount at the wooden shoe shop in Marken - but when I asked the cashier had no idea what I was talking about - so maybe there's some confusion there? Other than this issue - I definitely got my money worths out of it and more.

Good value. The only pass where the gold coupons covers Rijkmuseum and Van Gogh good for history but I'm not arty so can't understand his paintings. Gold coupons can be used for Artis Zoo, which is surprisingly a great zoo with more variety of animals than expected - need 4 hours to be worth it. Used the transport coupon for canal cruise. Stayed all nights in Schiphol, so for tranportation, purchased a 3-day all-transport pass for better value Euro 25 from Schiphol train station ticket counter.

We had to travel half an hour from our hotel to the travel agency that handed out these cards--hugely inconvenient--technically you can get them at the airport but the place was in another terminal and would have taken an hour after a long flight. We then discovered that the cards a didn't cover all the museums we wanted to see and b had to be traded in at each museum or activity for another ticket, often requiring a 20-30 minute wait in line in each place. We saved a few euros over buying at the sites, but wasted so much time that we would never do this again. Also, be careful -- the small card says it is good for two museums, but only one of them is a gold major museum. So you have to chose, for instance, the van gogh museum OR the rijksmuseum, you can't do both. When we complained, they said we should take it up with Viator. Would never do this again.

Totally worth it - we took the large pass which has 3 gold and 3 silver tickets 1 transport ticket when we got it in August we were informed that canal cruise is not available only transport. You also get a book with all the attractions that can be chosen using the Holland pass or a discount with the Holland pass discount card. And last, you get a free map of course you can get that anywhere - still good to have when you get your package. Recommended !

Good buy. However, trying to cover a good number of the attractions can be taxing in light of the time available on a trip.

Review by:   Ken J,    September 2016 Review: 4 star rating: Recommended
Be careful and don't let another gold levelattraction take your Rijks museum ticket. The skip the line a misnomer ask you still have to go to the ticket booth at EVERY venue. Your PARIS ticket only makes you go to the booth at the first venue.

Only one place in Amsterdam to get card and activate it...went to 3 different places before finding where to go to get it. Very INCONVENIENT, especially if you are with a group that has to trapse all over with you!! Also, the card did NOT WORK with the tram system which is how most get around in Amsterdam...

Picked up the pass at arrivals at Schipol airport, travelex staff very friendly and it was very quick. Got guide and map and tickets to use. Exchanging them at ticket offices was easy with no hassle and it saved me a lot more than the expense of the pass.

The customer officers at the collection stations were not too patient about explaining on the details of the card. They seemed to push the crowd along upon collection. Many of them do not seemed to know places and venues very well. _br/_ We will not buy such passes in future. Don't seem to save much on cost and on time.

Holland pass was excellent we used and enjoyed all our tickets and found the free map very helpful. Canal trip lovely and a chance to rest our feet, great to go to short queues or skip them altogether.

The pass was great for the Rijks Museum. We skipped the line and went right in. We had to stand in a 15 minute line for the Van Gogh. Not skipped but shorter than the other line. The river cruise was bad, boring and long. The windows were fogged and it was raining. I wanted to 'jump ship' when we passed under a bridge, but my husband wouldn't let me Lol.

We came to the city on the train for the day. I wished we had more time to use the City Pass. You could easily spend hours just inside the Rijks Museum.

We loved the Heineken Experience, the canal cruise and the freedom to visit all of the abstract museums that this amazing city had to offer. Most museums stayed open until late in the night so we were able to see a lot more than any other city we visited. We printed our voucher and had to find a GWK to redeem our tickets. The airport GWK didn't have the medium passes we purchased, but the one in Central station was easy enough to find. If I could do this all again, I wouldn't change a thing. I would have loved for the canal hop on hop off cruise to stay running later than they offer as the city by night would be absolutely spectacular, but we loved every minute!

Don and #39;t buy. Tickets crazy to claim. I used my ticket at Van Gogh n got the shorter line. but it was early n no lines really, but for all other places we tried to use pass n ticket voucher they said no. They don and #39;t accept it or some excuse. And big bus is a joke. Good luck finding the stops. Waste of $

SO SO SO worth it! We used our large Holland Pass to visit the Rijks, Van Gogh, and Stedelijk Museums, as well as a visit to the Muiderslot Castle, the Museum of Bags and Purses, and even renting Yellow Bikes. Highly recommend- very much worth the cost!

The pass is beneficial if you use it to see all the museums. We would have been better off to buy the museum tickets separately to skip the fast line: which was not really fast!
