Singaraja and Bedugul North Coast Bali Mountain Tour

Bali, Indonesia

Explore the tranquil rural countryside of Bali as you travel the whole length of the island, journey through the central mountains to Singaraja and Lovina Beach on the North Coast.

In the mountains, vegetation changes and you'll see cabbages, maize and potatoes. Higher still, the countryside is alpine with mosses, creepers and ferns. Visit Candi Kuning fruit and flower market with its exotic wild orchids, roses and even strawberries!

In Bedugul, an attractive mountain resort located 850 meters above sea level, serene Lake Beratan fills the ancient crater of Mount Batukaru and the local people honor the goddess of the lake at a temple built on small strip of land.

Stop for a walk through tropical rainforest to see Gitgit Waterfall before going on to the old town of Singaraja, Bali's former capital, on the north coast of Bali. Travel along the coast towards Lovina and its fabulous black sand beach, where you will stop for lunch, (Lunch at own expense) before continuing back through magnificent scenery on route to your hotel.

We had a trip with a taxi driver and a guide. The guide spoke englisch very well and learn us a lot about Bali, the people and the relegions._br/_ This was the 3. trip with Viator and again everyting was very well arranged.

A good way to see the water temples that feature in all the adverts for Bali and to see the north shore, some waterfalls and some forests. Meal was reasonable and the coach was air conditioned, but Bali does get very hot. A few stop offs at lookouts for photos, but nothing spectacular to see.

only two of us on tour guide and driver both excellent turned up on time and showed us very scenic and less visited parts of Bali, lunch buffet excellent value we were not rushed at any stage and lucky that it was a full on festival day at the temple so had full on show of bali dancing I reccomend this tour if you have a full day to spare

Hard to reach Urban Adventure for the trip. No one is answering the number they provided and Viator did not even respond when we contacted them via email.

Windri, the Guide, was informed and sensitive to all requirements, and restaurants selected were excellent.

A very pleasant days drive to he north of Bali. Saw lots of interesting scenery and rural views. There were only three on the tour and the guide stopped wherever we wanted to. The village market was interesting and colourful. the lunch location was idea but we got there late and not a lot of food was left but we didn't go hungry. Having the name Singaraja in the title is misleading as all we did was drive through Singaraja. I would have liked to have stopped in the centre of this city and had a bit of look around but you cant do everything in one day.

The tour guide was informative but the vehicle we were driven in was ready for the wreckers - the seat we were sitting in wasn't even fixed to the floor properly - new vehicle required._br/_ Bedugul the temple and the lake were fabulous as was Git Git Waterfall, and the however the rest of this tour was overly long and a bit of a waste of time . Make this a half day tour as far as Git Git, knock off Lovina black sand beach ( don't bother ) the lunch was terrible ( tourist buffet at a hotel ) and the stops to make purchases at the "Silversmiths" and the Civet Coffee places seemed to be profit driven not sightseeing.

Had a gr8 day. Our Guide Anto was lovely and caring and very informative. Our driver was also an excellent driver and felt very reliable. We enjoyed our lunch at Aditya Resort in Lovina on the coast. We were picked up on time and arrived back at our resort on time. Overall a lovely day. Thank you.

I don't feel there are too much you can do in this tour. And I was chased by the local people trying to sell those merchandise. There is a lot drive in this tour.

If you have time / budgetary constraints and can do only one tour then you should opt for the "Singaraja and Bedugul North Coast Bali Mountain Tour". It is definitely the best of the three tours I did with Viator in Bali. A bit long and tiring but no visits to pushy touristy shops._br/_ The scenery, the temple, the view of the twin lakes is just awesome. The lunch at Lovina Beach was once again sad. Only a fixed (not cheap) buffet as we were told that ordering a-la-carte would take too long.

This was a great day. Lovely to get up into the mountains. The temple was lovely and the Waterfalls were spectacular. Lunch was good too. It was a long day though, but lots to look at.

We went by small bus and the two of us were with another couple. Guide was knowledgeable. Saw some nice lakes and visited the falls that were private and out of the way. Lunch stop was at a beautiful open air, quiet restaurant on the beach with buffet lunch.

Amazing scenery, fantastic tour, highly recommended. It was a shame that the tour guide that we had was so sleazy!! Made for some discomfort over the course of the day.

Tour guide collected us from hotel at correct time. Whole experience was done very professionally. Guide very knowledgeable, all places we went to were very interesting. I would recommend this tour to everyone. Have used Viator in several countries now and have found that they always deliver a quality product.

This is one trip I would say you shouldn't miss. The North Coast of Bali is stunning, and the terrace rice fields are really picture postcards. We had a lovely guide and he was a credit to the tour company. This day trip was the highlight of our holiday in Bali.

We spent 9.5 hours on a mini bus and only about an hour and a half off to stretch our legs during the whole day. The guide was not very informative. The most we learned was about his religion. We went through a very modern town at the north of the island to be literally dumped at a restaurant on a beach which the guide or your company gets commission for using. There was nowhere else to eat and although the food looked lovely, when you looked closely there were flies crawling over it, even the hot food. I didn't eat anything and my husband had a plate of chips as he knew these were deep fried and not lying around for flies to crawl over. We arrived back at the hotel around 8pm with very sore backsides.

Tour guide proposed a different route, including volcano and Gidgid Waterfalls, as he said the tour as in the brochure was boring! After those highlights, however, we felt it turned more into a sales tour, with stops at silver and gold shops, woodcarver shops--all so that we would buy stuff. In the end, it was a very nice day, lots of driving though, but would do it again, as we got to see a lot in 1 day.

Trip was too long. I would have preferred a half day drip that avoided some of the crafts and people trying to sell you stuff, and the restaurant could do with a better cook.

We had an absoulutely fantastic time. We saw and experienced the Balinese culture. Who made it great were the guides. We cannot speak highly enough of them. They were very informative and friendly and took the time to answer all our questions. This trip is well worth doing if you want to see the whole of Bali and experience everything it has to offer.
