The tour took place with 2 languages - English and Italian being spoken AT THE SAME TIME on the bus. Spoiled the tour. _br/_ Budapest is a wonderful city. We did see a lot of sights the castle, the Heroes Square the Jewish Quarter. _br/_ I'd recommend the tour if you have one language. The hotel pick up and drop off was organized very well. _br/_ Guides were informative.

This is a good tour for the first day in Budapest and it helps you for better orientation. The pickup from the hotel was just on time and it is very relaxing especially if it's your first time in a city. The guide of our tour was good in two languages and showed a good acquaintance with Budapest and she was very helpful for arranging us a continuous tour on the spot to the Parliament building, which was very knowledgeable.

We had a lot of trouble contacting the local provider. Telephone no. Was incorrect and emails were unanswered. If not for the persistence of the concierge at our hotel, we would have been left behind. Very upsetting.

Not the worst tour that I've been on through Viator. Guide was too soft spoken and difficult to understand. I actually don't even remember her name as I could hardly hear her. I have been on numerous tours throughout Europe and haven't encountered that before. We were given very little time to explore any stops/sights. Once we arrived by bus at the Palace area, we were sent on our own to explore... with no direction except to where the shops were and where to get a bite to eat. I would have appreciated a narrated guide through that area regarding the history. Not recommend this tour.

After a bad early tour where had to walk back to our hotel wet and cold we decided not to go on this tour. The decision was made in part by the weather, our earlier bad tour and when we got back to the hotel, we were informed the tour was running late. Who needs to bad tours in one day.Budapest is a beautiful city.

This tour was good, but nothing fantastic. I took this tour on my first day in Budapest and it was a good way to get myself somewhat oriented and gave me an opportunity to take note of places I may want to go after the tour was over. _br/_ It was pretty slow paced which can be good when you're exploring new cities. Overall it was good.

This tour was disappointing. _br/_ It lasted three hours but only included two too-short stops in total which were both in the last hour of the trip._br/_ The guide's English was mediocre at best and his commentary was rambling and semi-coherent with too much detail crammed in._br/_ We rarely were able to identify which particular building he was referring to._br/_ Without meaning to be cruel, this particular guide was not in good physical condition and following him was torturously slow._br/_ We eventually ran out of patience and deserted the group, touring at our own pace and eventually rejoining it at the bus rendezvous point._br/_ The guide had the gall to try to lecture us about this and I informed him that we were not prepared to waste precious time waiting for others._br/_ The minibus format was not suitable for city sightseeing either._br/_ The open-top, hop-on, hop-off bus would have been a far better choice.

Great tour, would have liked more chance to take photos of some of the sights pointed out. You cannot get good photos from the bus with glare etc on the windows so it would have been nice to get more of a chance to do that. Otherwise, everything was excellent. Knowledgeable guides, great stops and of course, excellent scenery.

Our tour had a 45 minute delay waiting for our tour guide. He was then with another group visiting the Parliament. Although the tour guide was knowledgeable, the tour was short, not much was covered during the tour.

Really good that we were picked up at Hotel by car but was disappointed at the legnth of time we had to look around the places we were taken to. The tour guide was brilliant but when I booked on reading about the tour I thought we would be walking around the sights and it mentioned stopping for a coffee and cake at one of the local cafes which we did not get anywhere near. Disapointing really

Not recommended. .Was just a quick overview of the sights. Guide kept telling about some non-descript buildings , embassies etc, which was of no interest to anyone. They should have engaged us with the history and culture of Budapest

lots of the city was closed the day we did this tour, so spent a lot of time driving around looking at buildings. we were given a 'free' boat ride to make up, but it was raining so we didnt go.

Very informative tour, too bad it's only by bus. Two short stops on Castle Hill for taking pictures. A very good introduction to visiting Budapest and getting oriented. It's great if you combine this tour with the three-hour walking tour, also provided by Viator.

Good value but a let down in the end. We were in a bus and you weren't able to see some of the buildings being described due to the roof on the bus. Also there were french people along on the tour so after everything was said in English, we had to listen to it explained again in French. I feel like this wasted time that our English guide could have used to show us more things. Half the time after the French person was done speaking we had already passed what the English guide was telling us about. After spending a week in Budapest I saw that there were many other tours some cheaper that would have been much better than this one. If you are older and dont want to walk much and just get a very basic feel for the city than this would be a good tour for you. If you want something a little more than I do not recommend this at all.
