Welcome to the only speakeasy dinner show in Chicago Tommy Gun's Garage! Just say the password and you'll be transported back to the roaring twenties. You'll be entertained by gangsters and flappers, dancing the Charleston to the music of Cole Porter and George Gershwin. It's a night out in Chicago you'll never forget!
Entering Tommy Gun's Garage through the "El" tracks, you'll swear you've time traveled back to the 1920s and the era of speakeasies! You'll see silent movies playing, memorabilia from the 1920s, the Boss's 1928 Model A Ford car, a replica of the wall from the St. Valentines Day Massacre and pictures of gangsters and coppers from those times.
The "Mugs" and "Molls" dance and sing to Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Fats Waller, Duke Ellington and more ... All played by Chicago's Sinfully Orchestra.
After a great dinner of pasta, steak, fish or chicken, join "Vito", "Gloves", the "Mugs" and the "Molls" for non-stop comedy and dangerous fun, as they entertain you with singing, dancing, and a LOT of audience participation!
You'll be raided by the cops, complete with raid sirens and flashing lights. Perhaps you'll even be pulled up onstage to perform a hilarious sobriety test given by Officer Murphy, and be "interviewed" by Vito!
Valentine's Day Weekend During Valentine's weekend the dinner show will include a historical re-enactment of the Saint Valentine's Day Massacre, the 1929 murder of mob members part of the conflict between two criminal gangs in Chicago: the Italian gang led by Al Capone and the Irish Gang led by Bugs Moran.
Food was great, we had prime steak, really enjoyed the whole experience.

5 star rating all 8 in our party are still talking about the show and surprisingly the food was great too. When we go again we will go in period clothing to enhance the experience

The food was good! It was a little annoying pedaling all of the souvenirs, especially the hats. We were asked if we would like to wear one, which I was thinking was just a prop that they would take back after the show. I agreed to wear one, and then after taking it was asked to pay for it. The show was just OK.

Fun place. Food was better than expected. Cast members wait on tables. Show was entertaining. The only thing negative was the behavior of master-of-ceremonies who is really into himself and uses derogatory humor toward the guests.

Although we were late getting there in our RV they were very surprized to find to old girls travelling in an RV so they treated us very well and really looked after us. Show was great and so was the food. Hope they read this review to see we ended doing roughly 12500 miles when we had to leave for home. Make sure you do this show you will enjoy it. This was a hoot - I had been there about 10 years ago and brought my cousin to enjoy the experience also. The food was great, portions a bit too large for ladies, but very tasty. The crowd interaction was amazing and was enjoyed by all.

The show was fantastic. A must see in Chicago. A great family experience. The performers were all very talented and fun. The dinner was excellent except for the prime rib. It was huge, but hard as a rock. Everyone's prime rib was over cooked. But the show was great.

We had 3 generations celebrating a 50th anniversary. Everyone had a great time! Our server/singer/dancer, Mona, could have doubled for Roseanne Barr. The food was very good and the interactive entertainment was a lot of fun. Parking is free and right next to the venue which is a real plus in Chicago. I woulfd recommend Tommy Gun's Garage to anyone who wants a fun filled evening.

This was a nice dinner theater with a good atmosphere and easy to get to on the el train. Dinner was good, the service was good, the show was fun. The wait staff are also the entertainers._br/_ It was a nice evening thing to do. I would recommend it.

This was by far our favourite part of the trip and we found it as a fluke! Our server stretch was hilarious and wonderful. Even when the show was going on we were well taken care off. Food was decent, drinks were great. Dessert was excellent. The show overall was funny and interactive would definitely recommend and return for a second time if we are ever back in town.

Fantastic city and wonderful people. So much to see and do. Travelled on cta which was great value for money. Lincoln zoo is a must especially with the Christmas lights. Chicago trolley and bus tour is packed with information and the drivers are great._br/_ Tommy guns restaurant/show was tremendous fun and a great venue for celebrating my son's 21st birthday. _br/_ Chicago is not to be missed and we will definitely be returning.

The venue was hard to find but once inside, the set up was what you would expect a 1920's Speakeasy to look like. The staff made it enjoyable and worked very hard to entertain us. The food was okay and the drink prices not to bad.

Brilliant show. Great interaction with the audience. Personally meet the characters in the show as they come around to your table and introduce themselves and insult you. This evening is a must for your visit to Chicago. 3 Hours of food, drink and brilliant entertainment Well worth the 70
