See the sights of Copenhagen from the water on a 1-hour canal cruise! Relax inside the lower saloon or out on deck, and admire the city’s key waterfront attractions like the Little Mermaid statue, Amalienborg Castle, Copenhagen Opera House and the Old Stock Exchange. Hear history about the city and its monuments from an onboard guide and discover fascinating neighborhoods like the Christianshavn canal quarter.
Hop aboard your sightseeing cruise boat in Nyhavn or Gammel Strand in central Copenhagen. Take a seat in the boat’s lower saloon or stroll around the deck, admiring the city sights as you cruise. Canals zigzag through Copenhagen, and the city’s top waterfront sights appear around every twist and turn.
Watch out for attractions like the Little Mermaid, an iconic Edvard Eriksen statue, carved to look like a character from a Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale. Learn the history of Copenhagen as your onboard guide points out key sights.
Hear about Amalienborg Castle – seat of the Danish royal family since the 18th century – while admiring the site’s elegant façade, and gaze at Copenhagen Opera House, a futuristic-looking building that juts out onto the waterfront.
Glide through Christianshavn canal quarter and hear trivia about King Christian IV, who established the neighborhood in the early 17th century. The area is home to several of the city’s quirky sights such as the Church of Our Saviour (Vor Frelsers Kirke) with its elaborate spire.
Pass the Old Stock Exchange near the island of Slotsholmen, and then return back to the start point – hopping off your boat at either Nyhavn or Gammel Strand.
This is a very nice and probably the best way to get to know the city and it's history from the water. We were amazed by the wonderful architecture and enjoyed knowledgeable guidance of our tour guide in pleasant atmosphere.

A must see and do tour while in Copenhagen. Value of money. High recommended.

This tour was comprehensive, we left on time and saw everything we expected to see. It's well worth it because you see a different aspect of Copenhagen from the water. It was raining continuously but there were blinds we could use for protection. It's a good way to see all the city but from a different viewpoint, and good value

Extremely good boat tour host. Despite extreme wind and cold, she stayed outside and informed us of all the sights and highlights. Covers a lot of area, definitely worth it. If anything, a little bit more frequent cleaning of windows/glass would help us see the sights better.

Our adventure started before the Canal Tour, when we walked around the city and took in what seemed to be a small Caribbean Carnival parade with Soca music and masqueraders. It was a lot of fun to see the Caribbean culture make its way to Copenhagen, and widely accepted. The tour itself was very engaging and educational. Lots of neat history.

Our group took the Canal Tour and we were able to admire the sights from the comfort of the boat. The tour was good but a word of caution - be careful about your belongings purse, money, etc as one of our tour mates was pickpocketed near the boarding area

Lovely trip, the boat was heated so it was nice to get out of the cold for a while. We also received a voucher book with money off food etc we used 3 coupons for meals in various venues so we actually got our money back with all the discounts

Our group of sixteen16 friends are one in saying that this is a cruise one mustn't miss while in Copenhagen. The audio gave very good insights into what we were seeing. Highly recommended.

Outstanding excursion! The perfect way to get to see and know your way around Copenhagen. Excellent value, in fact better than excellent. Do yourself a great favour and take an excursion as one of your first outings in the Danish capital. Boat was warm and dry for our winter tour. And the guide provides a really informative and entertaining commentary.

We booked our canal tour with viator. Actually it would not have been necessary. There are many canal tours scheduled and the best option is to go with your group first thing in the morning half hour before the tour and wait for a place. The later in the morning and day of course the less your chances are to get a place for everyone on the same boat if you are a group. we were 7 persons. one or two persons will not have any problems getting a space but you will always have to wait for a certain amount of time. _br/_ The tour guide on the canal tour was excellent! He gave a very good overview and interesting historical points that are more likely to stick in one's memory. The canal tour is a must for Copenhagen - a great way to get a general feeling and lay out of this wonderful and historical place.

Awesome tour!!! I purchased our tickets online, which was an easy process. We arrived by cruise ship and the boarding location for the tour was an easy 20 minute walk away. Lars was very informative about all the sights of Copenhagen and Christian was an expert captain and steered us safely through the canals.

The rain put a damper on things but the guide and driver did their best. Copenhagen is, nonetheless, a city worth seeing from the water, and I recommend this tour.

This tour was fun and exciting. We saw many of the must-see places in Copenhagen. The Little Mermaid was exciting to see and hear about the reason she was put there. Also the Black Diamond Royal Danish Library was spectacular from the water view. Great tour!!

Standard tour that takes an hour to traverse major canals in Copenhagen. Always crowded, but only takes an hour. Easiest way to see Little Mermaid statue. For first -time visitors would definitely recommend.

This was a wonderful introduction to the city of Copenhagen. It was a rainy day off and on and they still ran the tour with only four of us. Our tour guide spoke German to the other couple and English to us. Would definitely recommend.

First visit to Copenhagen-arrived at the hotel early afternoon and took the canal tour. It was a great way to introduce us to the city. The boat travels around a broad area of the city and you'll see the city's historical highlights and get familiar with the city layout. We subsequently walked to the areas we found of the most interest. Copenhagen is a beautiful city with impressive history and rich culture- we enjoyed our stay. Just make certain you observe the bicycle lanes - lots of bicycle traffic!

The content of sightseeing is excellent. The only issue was that the window of the row we were sitting couldn't be opened, taking pictures was ver difficult. Otherwise everything was great.

Very nice tour under some low bridges. Got to see the Little Mermaid plus the royal residences. It was cold but being inside the boat was ok. The tour guide said everything in three languages. It was a little bit hard to understand her at times but overall I would recommend this tour.

Good tour of Copenhagen canals. Only downside ...buying a ticket in advance does not mean you don't have to queue at the ticket office so online purchase was pointless.
