Not all passes work out too well, depends on how much you want to do, but we loved the Copenhagen card. Lot's to see and do and the use of public transportation made it easy to get around. Plenty in Copenhagen, but also plenty outside of town. The castle at Elsinore is fantastic as is spending some time in the town, back in Copenhagen be sure to visit all the local palaces, take the boat tour, and don't miss the Cisterns close to a famous brewery!.

Do it. Do it on day one. A fantastic use of our money and made using the public transportation system that much easier when you didn't have to worry about purchasing a ticket. It was an easy way to get us into many locations for free, including the zoo which we ended up spending hours in the animals are so friendly! Cannot recommend this card enough!

48 hour one is great value and if you are using for a weekend such as arriving Friday night and leaving Sunday the 48 hour one will get you from airport and possibly back and all in between.

You will get you money back very quickly....unlimited entry to Tivoli alone makes this card worthwhile, but add in free transport, free entry to all the good stuff and your quids in. Highly recommended as Copenhagen is not a cheap city to visit.

Easy to obtain and easy to use. We were on a cruise shore excursion and may not have received full value, but it worked where needed and gave us ideas on places to visit.

The Copenhagen Card is awesome! Good to know: In my jet lagged fog, I forgot to pick mine up at the airport. The tourist info centers close at 5pm, but you CAN pick it up at the Tivoli Box Office - which is open into the evening. I had a rental car and didn't use the public transportation option, but I used it to get in to a ton of museums. I can recommend the Roskilde Viking Ship Museum SW of Copenhagen very highly, the Arken Art Museum is excellent, the Den Bla Planet aquarium was OK, the Louisiana modern art museum N of Copenhagen was absolutely extraordinary, and well worth the drive to get there. An observation: I spent 45 minutes looking for a parking spot within a mile of Tivoli, so taking public transportation is a good idea, if possible. The train/bus station is directly across from Tivoli, and Tivoli is just magical. The Copenhagen Card covers a ton of options, and some of these a fair ways outside of Copenhagen, so it is worth the time to sit down with a map and the list and Google, ahead of time, to make your choices. You could easily pack a week in this area exploring - I wish I'd had time to poke around in thrift shops and scope out the coffee shops. FYI - in comparison to the US, these things are expensive, so bring some extra funds - a cup of coffee is about 4.50, a small Latte is 7 or 8, for example - it adds up quickly. Also, if you rent a car, get GPS - it will be invaluable in getting around. Also, be prepared if you rent a car for a hefty 400 deposit - another reason to use the public transport on the Copenhagen Card, if you can. I believe there is also an Aarhus Card, if you're heading West. Aarhus is really cool, and the Moesgaard Museum is extraordinary. Happy travels! Denmark is awesome!

So many great locations are included in this card. We were able to use it everywhere we wanted to go. Picking the card up at Kastrup Airport was sooo easy. Best travel values ever!

I travelled with 3 children 12, 9 and 7 year old. So I paid only for 1 adult and 1 junior passes. The passes saved us time and money. Especially my children loved Tivoli with fireworks on Saturday and a boat trip. For travellers with children I also recommend to visit Experemintarium.

Great value! We purchased the 48 hour card and managed to do/ visit the following activities/ attractions: Tivoli gardens, the Round tower, Amalienborg palace, Rosenberg palace, Carlsberg brewery, the Cisterns and a canal cruise. No hassles experienced at all attractions. We even had a free drink and a souvenir from the brewery.

This was far and away the best decision we made. We were in Copenhagen for six days. We had ours waiting at the airport, and activated it so that we used it to take the train into the city. We arrived early so we had the whole day ahead of us. Had we been smarter we would have purchased the four day rather than the three day the longer the pass the greater the discount. A four day pass was about 143.00 each while the one day pass is 63.00 A savings of about 110.00 over the four days - of course that estimate can change daily with the exchange rate. I'm not sure there is a significant savings if you only purchase for one day. The card does provide you access to just about any place you would even think of visiting. In addition, what we enjoyed the most was the use of all public transportation this included canal tours, and the canal water bus which is awesome! If you do some advanced planning, you can really save by using the card. All of the entry fees for places are available on line, so you can plan to maximize your time. Especially if you are visiting for more than one day. On the fourth day we ended up purchasing a one day bus/transportation pass which definitely helped with getting around, but we then needed to pay entry fees where applicable. About the only item to note, is that the pass is only good for entry at Tivoli Gardens. The pass provides you entry and for us since we had a three day pass it was valid for three separate entries however, it does not include any of the rides. That ticket must be purchased separately at the Garden entry point.

We bought 72 hours for just 107 each on the Copenhagen Card. We got WAY more than our money's worth. We picked it up at the airport so used the free transportation on the Metro from there to our motel, saving a taxi fee. We used the Metro and city bus and regional train over the 3 days there, and took public transit to the cruise ship as well just before it expired. The entrance fees alone to all the castles and the aquarium and canal tour far surpassed what we paid. Our only complaint was that we still had to wait in line to get THEIR tickets after showing our Copenhagen Card to hand over at the entrance, even though we didn't have to pay anything for them. It was wonderful having access to all the transportation and places we wanted to see for one very reasonable price. In our 3 days, we managed to do the Canal Tour, see Amalienborg, the National Aquarium, Kronborg Castle, Rosenborg Palace, the Round Tower, Tivoli Gardens, Christiansborg Palace kitchen and reception hall tours, and we even took the ferry to Helsingborg, Sweden. We visited a couple of churches as well, and Nyhaven. I would buy these cards again in a heartbeat if we were going back. It was very handy picking them up just past the baggage claim area of the airport.

DIdn't feel we got our money's worth. If we were to do it all over again, the Hop on Hop off bus would have been a better investment.

Great value. We certainly got value for money taking advantage of using the card for several entries to places of interest. As we had a 48 hour card, we were able to access Tivoli Gardens entry twice to enjoy our meals inside. Do your homework first ensuring you plan ahead to use the card as much as possible.

A must for travel in Copenhagen and makes sight seeing easy.We purchased our CC and picked it up at 7am at the airport upon arrival and used it to catch the train into Copenhagen, after dropping our bags off we went on a Canal Tour while we decided what to do and the next 4 days included Tivoli Gardens,Museum of Design, NY Carlsberg Glypoteke, Christiansborg Palace tours,Carlsberg Brewery City Hall, Kronsberg Castle and Frederiksborg Castle ,Musuem of Architect to mention a few. It made life easy not having to worry getting out credit cards or cash.

With this card, you will rush through your touring stops to make it worth the cost. We did, but still feel that we got to see a lot in our one day in Copenhagen. One thing that is not mentioned is you will have to take a taxi, which was approximately 25 US dollars from the cruise ship to the tourism information center to obtain your card.

This card enabled us to board the train, buses, tour boats, and provided admissions to many museums at prices below many admission prices had we done it without the Copenhagen Card! I would highly recommend this card to anyone spending time in Copenhagen...you will MORE than get your money's worth from all the places you visit. Be sure to plan your time so you can maximize the value of having the card. If you do, you will be very worn out from all the places you see, foods you eat and money you saved! Just buy the card and enjoy! You show the card at the entrances and you are in...some places allow you to avoid the long lines. It is worth it!

The card is expensive. However, if you enjoy museums and will you transportation a lot it may be worth it. The viking museum is not included but train there and back covered by the card. Danish museums open late and most close 17:00 so plan what you want to see to get full benefit of this card and compare prices

With our 48 hour ticket we were able to navigate our way from our cruise ship in the city to our hotel and eventually to the airport as well as see Tycho Brahe Planetarium ,Thorvaldsens Museum, Tivoli Gardens , Ruins under Christiansborg Palace, the Christiansborg Palace and Tower, go on the Canal Tours Copenhagen, and we visited Church of Our Lady to see the statues. We also visited the Little Mermaid and walked all through that beautiful park area. The map and google were a great help. interpreting the train system was a challenge but we won. For a day and a half we felt we had accomplished a lot of sight seeing.

The card was only available at the visitors center so we walked from the pier. Once we retrieved our card we were able to access a number of attractions without additional cost. We had thought the hop-on, hop-off busses were included like they were on the Stockholm card however the bus drivers told us they were only good for a small discount.

The Copenhagen Card was THE WAY TO GO! We used it for the 72 hrs we were there, museums, transportation, discounts at restaurants, etc. The important info to remember.....the pre-purchased voucher MUST be exchanged for the official Card at a Travel Information Center or other designated site prior to first use. After that, it is very easy to use. Loved Copenhagen!!!

We enjoy using this card. You need to do your home work before and know what you want to do and see before buying this card. We printed out a statement from the internet so we knew what to see and do before we arrived in Copenhagen. We only wish the card is more flexible to allow us to use for 4 or 5 days. It is a great value.

You don't want to visit Denmark without getting this card. We used it on trains and buses, for entry to a variety of attractions that are must-see tourist stops, and the card saved us not only money but hassle too. We didn't have to get separate tickets which saved us a lot of time and left us with the ability to walk through things leisurely and at our own pace. One thing though, if you get the Copenhagen card, you might not need a Eurail Pass, unless you are going outside of Denmark. We had both and ended up not needing the Eurail Pass. If you get both, be sure to wait to validate the Eurail Pass until you are absolutely sure you are going to use it. Otherwise it is not refundable.
