After a pickup from your centrally located Dubai hotel, relax in an air-conditioned 4x4 vehicle as you head to the desert that surrounds the city. Admire views of the barren yet enchanting landscape on the way, and listen to your guide’s tales about the region and its fascinating geology.
First stop on your desert rendezvous is a traditional camel farm to see herds of the magnificent hump-backed herbivores. After showing off your balancing skills on a camel ride around the enclosures, learn about the different types of camels that are commonly seen in the desert around Dubai.

I did it before about 15 years ago. It was very nice then and was still great this time as well. The desert ride was bumpy as it should be. The different stops were for camels, falcon, henna tattoo, camping site and the night show were top.

This is the real deal Desert Safari. The Dune Bashing is awesome. But, be warned eat light before going on this tour, Dune Bashing should not be done on a full stomach. This was the only tour company I saw out Dune Bashing and again this was the highlight of the Safari for me. The Bar-B-Que was excellent with Beef, Chicken and Lamb as well as rice and curry. The tour allowed us to see a working Camel Farm which was very interesting to me.

We had great time in Dubai with the Desert Safari tour. They know how to take care of everything. Surprisingly, the food was very good as well. I recommend anyone that is vegetarian to go on this tour.

This desert tour led by Sahib from Orient Tours met and then exceeded my expectations. We experienced the desert in 4 x 4's by driving through the dunes. It was exciting and adventurous. The dunes are exceptionally beautiful. One cannot do this trip without gaining respect and awe for those who survive living in the desert. This is a must do! Sahib was full of information, considerate and lots of fun.

I had sooooo much fun. The tour guide, Mohammed, was great. One the drive to the desert he pointed out different sites and was nice enough to answer all my questions about life in the Emirates. Dune bashing was a perfect thrill! The camp was nice although not a lot of time for all the activities.

Overall good experience. Dune bashing was pretty short- only like 20 to 25 minutes. I have been dune bashing before and this was definitely on the mild side. I wish the dune bashing was longer and more intense -after all its the main headline of the tour. There was so many people on the tour they could have easily divided group up by intensity level preferred. Camp was nice and the buffet was edible. Great tour for kids.

I am confused on all the positive reviews for this tour. Our driver was Amazing and so nice. However, the main time to take photos in the desert was when all the cars gathered at the beginning of the safari. Our safari consisted of dune bashing, which was pretty cool, but that was the only main activity. The desert ecology consisted of naming 3 different trees that we passed on the drive. We stopped for 15 minutes to look at the camel farm and then drove to the location of the bbq. The camel ride was very short ride around in a circle, during which, there were cars parked all around and in the background of our photos. The sandboarding so elaborately described in event details, was just one at a time, sliding in a straight line down a hill next to the dinner. One of the henna girls did a great job for my friend, but the henna on my hand looked like a child drew on me. The food for dinner was pretty good, but we were over it by the time the belly dancer came on. The fire dancer was REALLY cool though. There was no bonfire. Like I said, the people who wrote reviews seem to have been on a different tour than us. Although, I agree, the tour guides were so nice and friendly.

Totally recommending this to be added to itinerary when visiting Dubai. IT'S A MUST! It was a good experience! The 4x4 Dune bashing is totally insane!You might be sick from the ride but u have got to try it at least once in a lifetime! Plus even if u are sick, the drivers are concerned enough to stop or slow down whenever possible - but still giving u the adrenaline rush from time to time! Camel riding, sand boarding were great! Falcon show too! Dinner and entertainment were great too!Really!

We did this on the day we came in which was a great way to fight the jet lag! Getting out of the city and seeing the desert is truly something my wife and I enjoyed. Dune bashing is quite entertaining but we really enjoyed just getting to the camp site and enjoying the beautiful December weather and food and activity. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a tour outside of Dubai.

Trip was a lot of fun! Really enjoyed the ride through the desert. Camel ride was great good experience since I had never been on one. A little disappointed in BBQ Dinner. Was thinking more about American BBQ, but nonetheless, food meat was not warm. I bought the USB drive, but disappointed in the number very few of pictures of my family/group on the USB drive. Belly dancing and fire dance were entertaining. Would recommend this tour. Very friendly driver, Jared.

Not at all what we thought as calling this a safari is somewhat a stretch. Just a lot of wild driving in the sand, followed by a two minute camel ride in a circle for a photo op that they can sell you and dinner and show that was far from entertaining.

Complete tourist trap. We spent most of the time in the car driving around in circles very close to the highway/roads. Once we got out of the cars, we then got a total of 30 seconds to ride the camel a couple of feet as there was about 30 people and only 2 camels. The dinner and the show was ok.

This tour was absolutely perfect and I would highly recommend it! The desert was absolutely beautiful. The drive to the camp was a lot of fun and there were so many activities you could do at the camp. Alcohol was reasonably priced and the food was great. The entertainment was all really great as well. I don't have anything bad to say about this tour.

This was absolutely the highlight of our Dubai visit. Mustafa our tour guide and driver was brilliant. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The 4 wheel driving was thrilling. The sand boarding and camel riding was a nice little add on. The food at the BBQ was superb. The shows aferwards were very entertaining. I am not going to say anything about the shows as it will spoil the surprises. I absolutely loved everything about the Bedouin Camp. This tour is a must. Definitely 5 stars.

The safari is a very touristy set up but a fun way to see the beautiful desert, have a decent dinner and see some local type entertainment. The 4x4 ride in the dunes was fun as long as you don't have an issue with motion sickness. Our driver was very pleasant and did a great job driving the dunes and making sure we had a good time. I would recommend this tour as a fun way to spend an evening.

This tour group operated like a well oiled machine yet still had a personal feel. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and the staff was friendly and helpful during the trip. It's well worth the value and a full day which I enjoyed. I would bring friends along with me as well as recommend to others. LOVED IT!!
