Best tour ever! Really worth seeing Mont Blanc. Our guide Neil was really accommodating and funny. He even gave us tips on where to go in Geneva after the tour. Highly recommend you do this tour. Although, I would not recommend you go see the ice cave at Mer de Glacé. Its 420 steps down, thats 840 steps two way. Even if you think youre really fit, its not worth seeing just a cave with ice walls. Take Neils advice.

Both our guide and driver were competent and pleasant. We extended our Day Trip to include a ride on the Little Red Train part way up Mont Blanc. The ride was interesting but the destination and overall experience was not worth the extra cost.

Amazing. We were lucky we were told by the guide that the cable car was open, no strong winds to be closed. We did not originally include a glacier train ride but my suggestion is to buy from you tour guide. It is much cheaper than through viator site. Views are beautiful.

This is simply a must if you are in Geneva !!! Awesome and spectacular !!! Words cannot describe the beauty of the glaciers and snow capped mountains......_br/_ Do remember to carry your Passport as you cross the French border. Key Tours the local operator, turned down many people who had not brought their passports. The Viator website needs to mention that this is compulsory when booking.

The tour itself was cool, probably better to do it when it’s warm like in late spring or summer since it was quite cloudy and cold even in early April. It’s not really much of “guided” tour, the only time the guide was with us was in the bus on the way there and back. You’re basically on your own.

Great walk. My sister and I almost missed the train back to Chamonix. We ran up the 450 steps in 15 minutes. It was snowing when we took a train back to Chamonix.

The tour started on time from the bus terminal near Mont Blanc stop in central Geneva. The guide gave us detailed info about how the day was organised along with a map of Chamonix where the meeting places and times were marked. The guide doesnt accompany you on the cable car or the train and stays below in Chamonix. One can explore on their own and meet the group at the times mentioned OR just join back at the end of the day so one is quite flexible. We started back at 5pm and at 0630pm, we were back in Geneva.

Trip started ok with a well informed Guide and the cable car to the top of Mt Blanc was a treat although the foggy conditions did not allow the spectacular views - Lunch was good in the hotel ,.... BUT to be advised the train to the Glacier was cancelled due to mechanical faults left us very little option but to wander Chamonix for an hour and take the cable car up to the ski resort but not much to do when your surrounded by skiers.

This is a day trip that I'll remember for the rest of my life. Chamonix is a place everyone needs to see! We had a great weather day, so it was clear skies at the top of the mountain. They give you plenty of time to walk around and do your thing. Absolutely no complaints. Would highly recommend!

This is an excellent trip, and I would recommend anyone to go on it. Unfortunately we were not able to go up in he cable car that we had planned to, do due to the weather, but we went up in another one that did not go so far up, which was a little disappointing. Warning on this one as there is a very long uphill climb before you can get on the cable car, and many people were out of breath before they got there. However the view from the top was lovely, and there is a small café where you can get a refreshing drink or something the eat. The train journey in the afternoon was excellent, and the snow on the mountains was beautiful-sit on the left hand side going up for the best views. All in all a very good trip, and our guide Neil was excellent as well.

I cannot explain how amazing this tour was. The bus was super comfortable and the guide was really nice. Unfortunately the day we went it was raining and there was an avalanche that morning and we were unable to go to l'eguille du midi. We were reimbursed for this part of the tour. Mont Blanc and Chamonix experience is A MUST!! Beautiful place!

Chamonix was stupid. This is not a guided tour. Seems like i paid so much was just for transportation. Suggest spwnd most of your time on Mont Blanc!

The trip up to Mer de Glace on the little mountain train was lovely and the glacier quite breathtaking, but once up there there was nothing to do. Nowhere to walk or explore, no ice cave. No gondola. Looking at a mountain for an hour is boring. I think the answer is not to go in November because that is when they do all the maintenance on the lifts, so we couldn't use the Aiguille du Midi Cable Car, which we were told in advance and given a refund for. Five and a half hours in Chamonix is too long, a half day tour would have been better. Our guide told us she would take us for a walk round Chamonix, but all that happened was we were bussed to a lake and spent an hour or so there. Not much to do as it took 15 minutes to walk round the lake. Beautiful views and a great place for photo buffs. _br/_ The microphone in the bus didn't work, which was hard on our guide, who was already talking in three languages. Once again the guides were lovely people. I wouldn't do this again. I had been so excited at the thought of the tour and it was so disappointing.

The place itself if breathtaking. I took the train up cable car was not an option in November and it did not disappoint. The town is charming too. But I think you can organise this trip by yourself. It didn't make ANY difference having a guide. Patricia was with us just in the morning on the bus telling us some facts about the tour and once we got there we never saw her again. I thought she would explain more things, but no. So I basically paid for transport only, which I bet I could've got a better price going on my own. Disappointing tour.

Definitely worthwhile. Breath-taking gondola up to Mont Blanc and snowing when we went up in early Nov. _br/_ The train to Merc de Glace was beautiful though a pity we couldn't see the glacier valley. Managed to see them in Jungfrau a few days later.The hotel meeting place serves good hot soup free flow

Do not recommend the tour! The guide Neil did explain about the area and the sights on the bus, but did not accompany us on the various trips on the cable car and the train. He was rude to some other passengers as well. Save some money and choose the independent journey.

AC did not work in the bus during half the journey. Guide did not even know that one section of the tour was closed - he got us out of Mont Blanc quickly to send us to the glacier which was actually closed to the public. He made all guests run to get the bus. The place was good, the tour was not

The bus ride there was great. Our guide, Neil, was very friendly, patient, and spoke clearly. The cable car to the top was amazing/scary, I loved it. We also signed up for the train glacier tour but the train was out of order. Instead we did a small hike as a group which was okay. I was a bit irritated that we were not told of this issue in advance since apparently the train was out of service for a while prior to this. We did get the difference back in money for the train portion being canceled. For those interested, personally I would just recommend doing the Mont Blanc part of the excursion.

We loved this tour !! Neil was our guide and he was quite entertaining and gave helpful tips on what to do in Geneva. The scenery was spectacular and the views from the top I will never forget. It's very chilly once you come off the cable car it was minus 2 degrees in September wear an appropriate jacket. Definitely recommend this tour, one of the best things we did during our stay.

The views of the Alps Mont Blanc were incredible. But DO NOT book a Key Tours trip! The guide did not have enough maps for the group. Then after he had explained the maps en route, he just handed out maps upon arrival. He then abandoned us, the map was incorrect about the departure location of the bus. I called Key Tours in Geneva, and was told I would have to run to catch the returning bus from another location. I'm 66 years old and ran to make the bus back to Geneva...not a pleasant experience!!!

The ascent to Aiguille du Midi is just breakthtaking. The day we were there, there was a light cloud cover, and when the gondola broke through the clouds, it was one of the more take-your-breath-away sights we've ever seen. If you are doing the Mer de Glace/full day tour, be sure to be rested...the day requires quite a bit of walking between points...but it was one of those days we'll never forget. Really enjoyed this!

One of our favorite experiences of our entire Europe trip. Absolutely gorgeous, and there was just enough time to do everything we wanted! We went up the mountain in the cable car and took the train to the ice caves. It was fantastic and definitely worth it!
