Bad weather forced early end to trip but would recommend this trip anyway. Guide good organization perfect. Lovely boat . Just the right amount of activity. food good too.

The place was beautiful and the cabin i got was fantastic. The trip could do with more activities._br/_ The long 9 course meals were a bit tedious. Food was good but some of the meals could be done buffet style so one can spend time in other activities.

I was expecting a fairly standard boat trip into the bay, and was pleasantly surprised with 3 days of luxury. The cabin was beautiful, with a lovely bathroom and excellent shower. The crew were so attentive and fun, and we had a very knowledgable tour guide. The food was amazing and very plentiful. A highlight was the meal in the cave, which was an experience I shan't forget. Overall, this was a wonderful trip and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to see the best of Halong Bay.

The 3 day cruise was one of the highlights of our trip in Vietnam. Every morning we woke up to some stunning views and we finished each day by kayaking under a specatular sunset. The most memorable moment was perhaps the candle lit dinner we had in a beautiful limestone cave. We were most pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed the dinner.

Fantastic few days! Despite other reviews criticising the fact that you have to return to port each morning to collect people staying for just one night, we wouldn't change a thing. Each day had different activities and routes so it didn't feel 'samely'. Seafood was delicious. All in all, an unmissable experience for anybody passing through northern Vietnam!

Apparently we hit the worst weather in fifty years, so was overcast and cold. However, this tour was still worth doing. Again, our tour guide's English was very poor. He couldn't explain things of interest. We booked and requested the double bed room, but on arrival, they were reluctant to give it to us! They finally did. Food was initially good and in good quantities. However, this dwindled down, so that by the third day there was little seafood, and smaller quantities. Newer passengers only coming for the one day cruise would have been quite shocked. Food was freshly made, but always arrived cool to the table. It would have been better to have all the longer stay people on one boat, and just stay out into the Bay longer.

The guides on the boat were excellent. Halong Bay was amazing, definitely one of the great natural Wonders of the World. Only one thing, we booked the two night boat trip and unfortunately the boat returns back to the port each day to get the next batch of single night tourists, so we spent too much time travelling back and forth to the port. Service on board was great, great food. Our cabin was nice and roomy, but beds were thin slabs of foam on wood, a bit too spartan for our tastes. Water in Halong Bay had floating garbage in many places, didn't want to swim in garbage, but kayaking was great. The port was so crowded it made the boat transfer a bit intimidating for some, not a problem for us, but elderly people might have a problem.

The trip was great, and we encourage anyone interested to make a visit sooner than later, as the influx of tourists will certainly spoil the area for others to visit in the future. Already, we noticed a significant amount of rubbish in and around the bay, and this was in low season! Our room on the "Jewel of the Bay" was certainly cosy, and if possible we would suggest booking the room with the double bed, which was more than twice the size of the others - but be quick as there is only one double bed on the entire boat!

I was very pleased with the tour, the service was excellent, the boat was clean and in good condition, the staff were friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and of course the beauty of Ha Long Bay is breathtaking. Very good trip.

This trip was the highlight of our visit to Vietnam! The boat was very traditional but comfortable, and the food and service far exceeded my expectations considering the price paid!
