Enjoy a full day to experience the huge variety of attractions at Ocean Park Hong Kong. See marine animals such as sea lions, dolphins, penguins and walruses; admire super cute giant pandas and other land critters; hop on amusement park rides and get fantastic photo ops over the ocean from a cable car or giant outdoor escalator. A great excursion for all ages, this convenient tour includes an experienced guide, round-trip transportation by air-conditioned coach, admission ticket, and pickup and drop-off from centrally located hotels.
After morning pickup from your Hong Kong hotel, your guide takes you to Ocean Park. Admission ticket in hand, skip the long ticket lines and go directly into the park, which spans more than 215 acres (87 hectares).
The park is divided into two main areas, the Waterfront and the Summit. Enjoy the experience of traveling between them on the cable car, funicular train or massive outdoor escalator. The Cable Car provides an aerial perspective over the South China Sea, while the Ocean Express train resembles a submarine and simulates a voyage to the depths of the ocean. The escalator, one of the world’s longest outdoor escalators, scales 740 feet (225 meters) of green hillside and provides excellent views of the surrounding sea and forest.
In the Waterfront, you’ll find one of the park’s star attractions, the giant pandas exhibit where Le Le, Ying Ying, An An and Jia Jia charm their visitors. Nearby, check out the red pandas, sea otters, Chinese alligators and birds of prey. An immense aquarium offers a look at the denizens of the deep; the Adventures in Australia exhibit showcases koalas, wallabies and kookaburras. In the Old Hong Kong zone, see the city as it looked from the 1950s-1970s.
Up on the Summit, Thrill Mountain contains many of the park’s rides, including the Hair Raiser roller coaster and the Abyss Turbo Drop, which plunges towards the ground from the height of a 20-story building. Small children love the carousel and other tot-oriented rides.
Journey to the South Pole and North Pole exhibits to see three different penguin species, walruses, spotted seals, sea lions and arctic foxes, among others. Check the schedule for the day's animal feedings and sea lion or dolphin shows in the Ocean Theater.
Food and drinks are available for purchase at restaurants or cafes throughout the park.
With so much to discover, you may need more than one visit to take it all in!
I read an earlier review noting Ocean was more enjoyable than Disneyland, and I agree. But, go early, because as the day goes on, the waiting lines get longer. I would highly recommend this to anyone and everyone.

Pick up ok, Tour OK, But drop off well below standard, with the wife in a wheelchair we where dropped at the side of a busy road in an unknown area of a city with directions go that way to get too times squire. No wheelchair excess up footpath past construction work busy roads with no way to cross. What sort of garbage is this, where is your Duty of Care. NO I would not Recommend anyone using your company, thank you for causing great stress and putting my wife in danger!!!

two completely different areas in one tour. the cable car is not to be missed the views on this are great. a nice at your own pace day out. the highlight has to be the pandas they are so cute.

We joined in the crystal shop stop and finally dropped at the entrance of the Hong Kong Ocean Park._br/_ We were later picked up at a specific time and brought back to where we were picked up.

The tour was good. It would have been nice not to stop at a Jewelry Store. Also, at the end of the day, we were left waiting for our ride back to our hotel for almost two (2) hours.

Fetched to and fro from our hotel lobby even though its not listed in their pickup locations. Avoided ridiculously long queue for the taxi when going back to hotel. Only trouble was that we completed the park pretty quickly and had to hang around for 2 hours. Of course, taxi was an option but didn't want to waste more money.

Had an awesome time at ocean park and before that had a timely hotel pickup, followed by a brief city tour. But the 20 min. jewellery factory visit wasn't warranted for._br/_

When initially booking this tour, I chose this as the tour stated "complimentary hotel pick up". This was confirmed at the time of booking. The night before, a message was left with my hotel that I would have to travel to another hotel on the other side of Hong Kong Island for pickup. This cost another HKD$70 each way in a taxi, Very rude and would not recommend this tour. It would have been easy enough to get to Ocean Park by myself and buy entrance tickets when I got to the Park. No apologies were given. I would not recommend this company. They also made us stop at a Jade Factory on the way to the park where there was no mention of this in the initial schedule.

It's a drop-off and pick-up tour. Maps were provided. In between, you are on your own to explore Ocean Park. The park has all the major attractions for anyone for a day.

We enjoyed the transport and entry arrangements for the tour of ocean park and thought the park was absolutely fantastic. We did not enjoy being taken to a jewelly factory on our way to ocean park - when you are on a family holiday doing things withbyour children I did not appreciate being taken to this venue and basically being put in a room with expensive jewelry and herds of sales people harassing me and my family to buy something. This side excursion before going to ocean park should not have occurred as it almost ruined our day - only for the fact the park was so great that we were able to move past this imposition on our time and senses.

Only give this a 2 for 1 Reason...if not for this easily deserves a 5!...Park experience was great and is a must see! Why we give a 2....We went on Pub Hol Easter Friday...we only had 2 pick ups it was 9am...guide even said not sure why picked up so early on Public Holiday as park didn't open until 10am...so to kill time, we were taken to Hong Kong Jewelery Company near Ocean Park..12 of us were piled into a very small room and spoken to about HK Jewelery! (I booked to go to Ocean Park and to be spoken to about Jewelery!!!!)...we were then led onto a huge sales floor and there were about 3 sales persons to every person...it was high pressure to buy now!...This was extremely off putting and if we were early, the pick up should of happaned later and another more appropriate destination applied...however when we arrived at park, by reading signs and asking park staff, we learnt that the park actually opened at 0930! We felt the diversion to HK Jewelery Company was pre-planned and a little misleading! Very poor ...Suggest you do this day as DIY...get Taxi and pay entery on arrival...would be cheaper and are not being mislead by local tour company! Park Experience 5 out of 5 though!

Ocean Park was amazing for adults and kids. The view up the Gondola was stunning, it was great to see Pandas, and the pick up service was convenient. They do take you to a jewelry store before going to Ocean Park to try to sell you stuff....The guide gave good information on Hong Kong during the ride to Ocean Park.

The pick up from the hotel, and subsequent commentary from the tour guide was brilliant and informative. I enjoyed the trip to Hong Kong Jewelers as they had excellent products. The trip from there to the park was OK and I would have appreciated an earlier option to leave the park as we were over it by 3pm

What a great place. Our pick up was punctual and we had a bit of spare time before the Park opened to visit a Jewellery factory. We were given assistance to enter the Park then the day is yours.We were told where to meet for collection and right on time the coach was there. Fabulous day recommend it to anyone especially if you like rides. The view from the Cable cars is stunning.

However, the tour operator decided that rather than waiting at the gates for the Park to open, or being there on time when it opened, they would take our small group to see where jewellery was made. We were whisked through that process and then held in the show room with dozens of shop workers waiting on us to buy. I did not like that, I felt pressure to buy something I did not want. I felt completely tricked into doing something I would not have signed up for.

We found that we enjoyed this but some on the rides and the exhibits were closed even though it was the first day of their school holidays.
