Would have been terrific but was not told what pier to meet boat and was told someone would meet me at watchtower which did not happen. If I hadnt kept running back and forth between watchtower and boat ramps and was not in great shape to run between both, I would have missed boat. Also, the sound system on boat was terrible so the young man who spoke great English couldnt be understood due to poor quality of sound system on boat.

This cruise is more of a boat trip, the waters in the harbour can get a little choppy as there is quite a bit of traffic with other boats moving in different directions and creating varying waves._br/_ You do need to take a jacket or pullover even if the temperature is good earlier in the day. When daylight disappears and the harbour lights come alive the temperature drops quite a bit, coupled with the cooler air over the water it can get pretty cool._br/_ The lights were a slight disappointment to us, Hong Kong can learn a lot from Singapore. Yes it's a much smaller bay, but we'll synchronised and the music was very effective unlike our experience of Hong Kong._br/_ Our massive expectation from the build up was very sadly disappointed for the light show, but we loved Hong Kong on the whole.

This Tour was on a Ferry Boat not a Sampan. .. It was lovely cruising along the Harbour, went a long way, we were lucky to be following a Cruise Ship. Informative information along the way. _br/_ Free unlimited drinks were great,can sit at a table with friends, or chairs up the front allow you to walk around more.. lovely way to see Victoria Harbour at night.

This was a nice, relaxing way to spend an evening in Hong Kong. The boat had plenty of open seating and a relaxed atmosphere, and it was easy to take advantage of the open bar. The light show wasn't as spectacular as I was expecting, but it was still very cool to see the skyline all lit up, in addition to seeing all the other parts of the island from the water. I would recommend this if you have a number of evenings to fill, but I wouldn't necessarily say it's a must-do activity.

Good efficient tour but the light show was hardly a Symphony. Bit disappointed in the whole thing. As for the complimentary drinks! Every time you went to the bar they pushed the tips bowl in front of you as if it was obligatory.

Pretty nice to be on the water to watch the beautiful skyline! Well worth the 90+ minute boat ride which includes open bar for well drinks and soft drinks. Boat was ok nothing fancy. I was hoping to see more laser action from the buildings though.

Over rated, over hyped, over priced. Stay on the promenade for free, although no music. They better get Disney to redesign this paltry light show. Boat ride was too long, extended by a useless harbor tour.

The Laser show was supposed to be spectacular but turned out to be a dud. A few lights from the top of the tall buildings which were ordinary. This tour is not worth taking. One can see the lights from the top of the Hotel building.

Being from a tourist town myself where I have seen many light shows put on by well-known amusement parks, I have to admit I was a bit disappointed in the light show. But the tour around the bay was great and a really romantic trip!

This was very poorly set up and it turned a night cruise that I was excited about into a very disappointing event with my partner._br/_ Firstly no one was at the Hong Kong pier 9 to meet us and tell us what boat we should go on._br/_ Eventually we got onto a boat which said it was doing the Symphony of Light - but I thought I had booked a boat that had the sails, yet I ended up on a ferry type boat._br/_ This entire experience was just terrible and so so disappointing.

This was a very good tour. Easy to find the meeting point on the Kowloon side. The laser light show was a bit of a non-event but the buildings lit up at night were spectacular and best viewed from the water in our opinion. Free drinks on board weren't a major decider for us. The trip included a 2 hour cruise up and down the harbour which was spectacular if you like seeing the extent of HK high rise buildings lit up at night. We would recommend this tour.

The Symphony of Lights Harbour Night Cruise was well worth taking as the light show itself in the Harbour was impressive and well worth seeing The staff on the boat were helpful and friendly and the recorded narrative was interesting and informative. There was a bar on board selling alcoholic and soft drinks and tea and coffee was also available.

I was lucky to have relatively good weather on the night, hence the view was pretty good. The free drink on the boat was ok. The tour commentary was through a recorded broadcast, a bit hard to hear accompanied by the engine of the boat, the English were just understandable and the music is somewhat to me anyway mismatched to the scenery of symphony of lights on Victoria Harbour.

Missed the cruise as instructions were unclear and we were sent in the wrong direction once at the Pier, due to language barriers. We arrived at correct spot to see cruise take off. Waved madly to be noticed, but did not happen. Very disappointed as was really looking forward to this excursion.

The guide was really nice but i felt bad for him because it was his job to make the Symphony of lights seem better than what it really was. It was just lights blinking in an uncoordinated way with dramatic music. I was like Is this it? So if you want a bay ride, fine. But do not expect to be wowed by the lights at all.

I was hopeful this would be a fun experience to share with my kids and extended family. It was just ok. It definitely wasn't worth the price. The drinks offered on board were subpar and warm. We seemed to be pointed away from the laser show while it was happening so had to stand up on a rocking ship in order to see. With young children, I was uncomfortable standing and felt one or more of us might fall.

We enjoyed our night cruise in the HK harbour but the light show was nothing to get excited about (not the cruise company and #39;s fault). The tour started on time and the free drinks were readily available onboard. The boat for us was not overly busy which was a pleasant surprise. Would recommend

The boat is old but not a traditional Chinese junk. Don't get your hopes up about the light show as I did ....... it's a bit lame and the music needs an overhaul. Yes there is an open bar however there is one very unhappy looking guy serving so it takes a while. Drinks are small. Otherwise Hong Kong Harbor at night is amazing and it was a good way to take it all in.

The show is best enjoyed from shore or where access to the sound track is available. We could not hear and of course could only see one side of the harbor from our seats. The name of our ship was given in the voucher but we never saw it. Instead we followed other tourists to a ship that just came in and inquired if we were in the right place.

Overall a great evening cruise! Very peaceful evening, easy pick up and drop off at primary locations on the ferry ports, and I enjoyed the music/talking that accompanied the ride.
