Enjoy calm waters and magnificent scenery on this unique rafting day trip between the Black Canyon cliffs on the Colorado River. Relax and admire beauty of Black Canyon and views of Hoover Dam while your experienced and knowledgeable guide shares the history of this magnificent geological area.
Accompanied by your friendly and informative guide, you'll travel to the launch area at the base of the Hoover Dam for a view of the dam that very few people have the opportunity to see. The large, comfortable rafts have multiple air chambers and are outfitted with all the Coast Guard required and recommended safety equipment.
The Black Canyon's high walls will leave you breathless, so remember to bring your camera! You may spot desert big horn sheep, osprey and great blue heron in their natural setting. The raft stops along the shore to give you a chance to swim or paddle in the cool clear waters below Hoover Dam. You could take this opportunity to enjoy the box lunch provided, while watching and listening to the sights and sounds of this magnificent desert.
Your trip ends on the Arizona side of the river at Willow Beach, where you will have the chance to shop for distinctive souvenirs of your trip, before returning to your Las Vegas hotel.
Although this tour was taken some time ago - we still have great memories.

Transport there and back was very well arranged. Picked up from hotel by shuttle bus, and returned by tour operator. For once weather was cool with some rain, but did not detract from experience. Able to view Hoover dam from below, and then explore Black Canyon with very knowledgeable guide. Good lunch provided, and as much water as you could drink. Very peaceful, and a welcome break from the overcrowded Las Vegas casinos. Highly recommended for those wanting a different Las Vegas experience

Excellent tour. Starts near the bottom of the dam and great visuals throughout the entire trip. Guides are well informed and keep the trip informative and lively with many photo ops. At lunch on a small river beach take a dive in the river which will be refreshing and is guaranteed to get rid of any hangover from a night out in Vegas. A towel, sunscreen and a hat are needed for this wonderful trip.

Unfortunately it rained just as we were getting on our boat for the tour.... but the tour guide was great! He called for a van to pick up those who wished to get off the boat. Those of us that remained had a great time and were able to see things that you normally wouldn't without the rain, such as water falls. I would definitely do this again!

Eu paguei um passeio para andar de rafting e na hora fomos de barco, não teve banho do rio. Compra uma coisa e na hora e outra. Triste

Brilliant and the guide was great and very knowledgeable. A fantastic experience well worth doing you really miss something if you don't! The sights are magnificent and a natural wonder. You will need to take sunscreen and casual clothing as there may be some spray over the bow of the raft but nothing to worry about. This is not wild river rafting but very safe and controlled for your enjoyment.

Fantastic views you will never experience again. Take note though not to swim in the river as one guest did and he got swept away in the current and lost his shorts ( idiot )

This was a great day out, so glad we did it. The rafting tour itself was about 3ish hours and to be honest that was long enough as it was a very hot day and there was no shade or shelter from the sun (but it was early August!). By the time though that we had been picked up at the hotel and then returned, you need to consider the half day trip a full day as we were picked up at 7:45am and got dropped off again shortly after 4pm. The tour guide was very knowlegeable and friendly and provided much needed cold wet towels (from the river) to help keep the passengers cool. The lunch was pretty basic but there was more than a plentiful supply of water to help keep hydrated. Scenary was spectacular and offered a completely different perspective of the Hoover Dam area - would definitely recommend doing if you get the chance.

My family had a wonderful experience on the Black Canyon River rafting tour on July 24th. It was a very hot day (113 degrees), but our guide, Brian, kept us cool with his wet towels. Brian has the perfect personality to be a river raft captain. He was humorous and uplifting. The scenery was spectacular. A very enjoyable day!

This was an enjoyable trip. Very organized and professional staff made the day fun, informative and safe from start to finish. Brian was our tour guide and he was able to keep us entertained as well as answer all of our questions. In my opinion, this trip is more for adults. I have a disability and this tour does not require a lot of walking.

The weather was awful but to the immense credit of the crew, the tour still went ahead. Very funny guy at the helm and had it not been so cold it probably would have been the highlight of the week.
