Meet at a giant sandbox in Las Vegas and receive a brief safety instruction and equipment orientation. You'll be given a hard hat, vest and 2-way radio before climbing aboard a real-life excavator or bulldozer for a unique and fun experience!
Via your radio headset, expert constructors will walk you through the levers and buttons, letting you maneuver these heavy-duty machines like a pro. Dig trenches, build mounds and move and stack 2,000-pound (909-kg) tires!
Play several fun, safe games like ‘Excavator Basketball,’ where you try to pick up a basketball off a cone and place it into your tire basket, or build your own ‘Bulldozer Teeter-Totter,’ where you’ll dig and move dirt into a mound and rock back and forth on top of it!
Choose between two packages: with the Big Dig Experience, maneuver either an excavator or a bulldozer. If you want the ultimate construction experience, choose the Mega Dig Experience and control both machines!

of dirt, stacking tires over a pole and driving an obstacle course in

Fantastic time. Great thing to do while in Vegas. Would be great for Corporate Team Building. We had a group of three twenty-somethings. Each had a great time. The hosts/ guides were terrific - each providing operating directions, maintaining interest and conversation throughout the session using headsets. A truly enjoyable experience. A tad expensive, but no regrets at all.

Fantastic experience!! It was a gift from my husband and family for our 49th wedding anniversary. The Dig This: Heavy Equipment Playground is a top notch organization. The staff was amazing and helped guide me through handling the BIG machine. I recommend it to anyone that has ever wanted to drive a earthmover.

first impression, person at front desk, needs training on greeting and how to treat customers. not personable, not bad just not friendly._br/_ i had called two days before because booking thru viator had caused reservation problems, and whoever i spoke to was much better._br/_ would not recommend booking thru viator, would call or go to website to book.

This was absolutely amazing, best new fun place in the city. You walk away with a giant smile. Skip the tables for a few hours, go to Dig This you will not regret it. If you ever wondered what it was like to run a piece of heavy equipment go to Dig This. You will be amazed how good you are in a few short minutes and you get to dig a hole, fill it in, move stuff around, you will not be disappointed.

Bought this as a birthday present for my husband. He was SO excited when I told him what he was doing. Greeted upon arrival by a friendly staff. Safety review and off they went to the machines. The instructors were out in the field with them the entire time. Everyone had headsets to communicate. He had so much fun moving dirt and tires ...digging holes. Graduation certificate at the end. There was a place for me to go out to the field so I could watch and video. The smile on his face said it all. Highly recommend !!! They also called a cab for us when finished to run us back to our hotel on the strip.

I had a wonderful time learning to use the excavator! I have wanted to experience using one of these machines for many, many years. I am a 71 year old former preschool teacher//director and the guys running this front office and the instructors were so very, very kind, polite and professional. I was impressed when speaking with two different guys on the phone before arriving, and even more so once I was on site. The office/training area were immaculate, and safety was of the utmost importance. I was treated with respect, friendliness, etc And the operation of the machine was such a great experience. I had a blast! I must say, it was a very intense activity - many more "commands" or manuevers than I had expected ! I kept forgetting one of the commands (right joy stick, away from you). My instructor never lost patience with me!! I dropped one basketball and ran out of time before picking up the third one - but I managed to get one safely picked up and deposited. All other activities I did very well with. It is something I would love to do again! Well worth my trip to Las Vegas and well worth the money!!! Also loved getting a certificate, buying a shirt and cap - and loved the very professionally done photo. Wonderful, wonderful experience! I have told many people (strangers/clerks in stores) about this many were interested in this activity. My son-in-law is in construction and operates every kind of heavy equipment. I better understand his fascination now. And one of my granddaughters (4 years old) LOVES construction equipment, like her Dad, but her favorite is the excavator! This is a must do! Staff is friendly, knowledgable, and really good at what they do -- which is teach you how to run a bull sizer or excavator. My husband was grinning from ear to ear the entire time -- he became a kid again instantly -- and that smile stayed with him the entire day.

My wife was a heavy equipment operator for seven years, but that was 30 years ago. She always had a favorite with cranes but operated literally everything else. Finishing her job of 23 years as a private chef and estate manager in LA, she is unsure of what to do next. This gave her a great way to recheck her perspective as HEO in the future. First she was really surprised by the present. Secondly the instructor quickly realized she had skills- I think she had to fight muscle memory from older machines! Third she came off with a monster smile and said she would really have to think about going back professionally after a break. Where else could you get such an opportunity? I had one of many pediatric conferences in Vegas and she has several very good friends, plus our middle son's in-laws are also residents. We will likely be back as a treat for a birthday or anniversary. What a blast to watch her have so much pleasure.

The greatest experience ever! I didn’t think I could operate an excavator and I did. The team there is fantastic in teaching you to operate the heavy equipment and then allowing you to play on the big kids playground.This is a fantastic memorable experience while in Vegas!

I was so scared to participate but once I got in the excavator all my fears went away. At the end I did not want to get out. Playing basketball was my favorite part. I got 3 for 3 ! The guides that walk you through all the moves are so helpful. They explain every move like they were sitting with you in the cab. If you have ever asked yourself how those big machines works this tour is for you. A must do when in Vegas.

This was a ton of fun! I drove an excavator and dug big holes, lifted (seriously) massive tyres and played basketball with the bucket of the machine.. Who ever knew this could be such a blast?
