The Grand Canyon helicopter flight was everything we hoped it would be. The pilot was terrific and really entertaining. What a great way to get a birdseye view of the scenery. The Colorado river float was relaxing while giving us a completely different view of the Canyon. Our guide provided the group with interesting and informative facts throughout the entire trip.

Helicopter pilot was very knowledgeable and shared lots of tidbits with my kids. He was engaged throughout the entire tour. A larger person was seated next to me in back of the helicopter that made it very cramped. Ad on tour states over 250 lbs requires 2 seat purchase. The river tour was VERY wet. The wind picked up that afternoon and everyone was covered over in ponchos. The ad mentions a lazy meander down the river. It was anything but. We got drenched. My kids shoes did not dry out for 2 days. No warning of this in the ad. Person I talked to on the phone said you were on the water from 10-2. We did not leave Hoover Dam until 11 and pulled into dock at 1:20 PM. This included a 20 minute stop to eat. It would have been better if Brian our boat driver was easier on the throttle and we all would not have been subjected to heavy spray from the river.

Pilots and captains, as well as all the support staff were friendly and competent. It was an all day event, but ran like a well oiled machine. I hated the early pick up, but that was because I didn't realize the drive to the airport was so far. Overall it was a very exciting trip and a good value. I would take this same trip again if I had the chance.

My sister, her best friend and I had the BEST time on this tour. It was a surprise for both of them. They didn't know what we were doing until the van picked us up that morning at 5:30am. That was just the first of many enjoyable moments of the day! All of our drivers were great along the trip. Our first driver, a woman, I'm posting this much delayed after our trip, so I've forgotten everyone's names was so great and she made a stop for us at the Las Vegas sign, which was particularly special, since we were there a week post LV horror, and the whole area had been made into a mass memorial for all the victims. This being my first time ever in Vegas, this first time seeing the famous sign will forever be etched in my memory. The crosses set up for each victim, all marked, decorated and adorned especially for them, seemed to go on and on. These memorials really put into perspective just how many innocent lives had really been taken. After our short stop we continued on to the helicopter adventure. After a brief info session, we stepped out to our heli with our pilot - a bearded Tom Cruise look alike, a co-worker couple from Sweden and away we went! The sun had just come up and the beauty was indescribable. Seeing this landscape from above was something I'll never forget! We stopped mid-way at the gift shop run by I believe the Hualapai Indians. My sister and I purchased a couple items, because they were cool, but also because the young man we were talking to there was genuinely one of the nicest people we'd EVER met. Our pilot Tom offered up a lot of very interesting info on our trip, and we did NOT want it to be over! BUT - we still had our river float coming up. We again had the greatest time on this portion! We had made friends on our initial bus ride with a fun couple from Wisconsin, who we are still in contact with, and we partied it up on the river! We brought drinks with us to enjoy we seemed to be the only ones who did?!? Our guide was informative and funny. Half of our raft was an Asian group that was covering themselves in their coats and were all DRENCHED in sweat. Even in October it got pretty hot on the river! We stopped at one point and a couple of the guys jumped right into the water as did we but we had suits on! We were tired after the trip - but not too tired to enjoy the Vegas nightlife! I think the point of this excursion, as with most, is you get out of it what you bring to it. So if you're out to have fun, you will!

Wow wow and double wow! The most amazing trip and incredible value. Darren the pilot was so knowledgeable about the area and pointed out so much of interest and the flight lasted for longer than we thought it would which was great. The raft part of the trip was equally fantastic. Jodi our raft pilot really knew her stuff and was so entertaining. We were on the water three hours which was such fun, stopping for lunch and at other points for photo opportunities etc. Wonderful day and excellent value with brilliant door to door service.

Tours were terrific! Guides very informative. Lots of fun!_br/_ There was, however, too much time in transport to and from tours._br/_ We left the Venetian at 5:15 am and didn't get dropped off returned until 4:30 pm_br/_ Actual amount of time on the helicopter and raft was just about 4 and 1/2 hours_br/_ There were 6 total segments where we were transported. Too many._br/_ Just glad the buses were nice._br/_ Other than that it was a wonderful experience!

Loved this trip, top to bottom -. Captain Brian was great informative and entertaining. Be prepared, you will get wet if you are sitting in the front on the boat. Pilot Scott was equally amazing, providing much information on the sights. The views were spectacular! In a heartbeat, I would take this tour again.

We were picked up at 5.30am from our hotel on the strip, we met our helicopter pilot Tyler and were up in the air by 7am, we flew over Lake Mead and the canyon for about 35 minutes then landed at one of the Indian settlements for roughly 20 minutes, then back on the helicopter for another 35 minutes over the Hoover Dam and more of the canyon and Colorado River. Tyler was a very friendly and informative pilot, all 6 passengers were 1st time flyers and he was brilliant with us, the views from the helicopter were incredible. After the helicopter we were taken to Lake Mead and then on to the bottom of the Hoover Dam for the 3 hour water raft ride along the Colarado river, the guide was very informative and ensured we drank plenty of water and followed her instructions to keep cool in 106' heat, it was another amazing experience, so tranquil and awe inspiring, we stopped half way for lunch and ended Up back at our hotel around 4.30pm. We highly recommend this trip, it was a truly unforgettable experience above and at the bottom of the canyon.

With neither of us having flown in a helicopter before, my wife and I were very nervous about the flight. This was put to rest as soon as we got to altitude and moving along. The flight was amazing. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the airport where we met up with the pilot and had a great photo op in front of the helicopter on the landing pad. Travis was our pilot and he was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us many fun facts all while being very personable. The views were incredible while flying, and we even got to see where we were going to enter the river on our raft adventure. Once done with the flight to and from the Grand Canyon, we were taken to the area for the rafting adventure where we were given our lunch and a sports water bottle. The rafting segment was totally different from the helicopter segment. While in the helicopter you can see the walls and how big they are, but you don't really appreciate just how high the walls are until you are floating down the river. After the river float we were taken back to the airport and back to our hotel. We would both recommend any one that is looking to do something memorable in Vegas, to go on this package. We both had a great time and would love to do it again.

The helicopter ride was not as expected my partner was over the weight limit, so we had to pay for an extra seat, plus a 50 each tax._br/_ the trip was short we were squashed up in the back ,while a thin man had the 2 front seats .however the Colorado River Float Day trip was great, a great guide and an enjoyable second part of the day.

This tour was not cheap but worth it. The flight over the dam and Grand Canyon was awesome. We landed at Grand Canyon west airport with just enough time to visit the gift shop but not enough time to do the Grand Canyon Sky Walk. I think it would be good to not land at the airport and do more flying in the Canyon. The boat ride was fantastic even though it was 114 deg F, the water was 40deg F and very refreshing. If it wasn't such a hot day I don't think I would have got into the river. Lunch was great with plenty of food and we got to take home the six pack cooler bag

Both pilots, that of the helicopter and the raft trip were highly informative giving great reviews of the geology and history of the sites seen. The helicopter ride was unforgettable affording me and my wife the opportunity to see the land approaching and in the Grand Canyon in a way that can't be equaled. The raft trip was also fantastic, not only did we learn about the geology of the features along the Colorado river that we saw, but also we learned of the efforts that went into building the Hoover Dam. To top the trip off we got to see Mountain Goats and a Bald Eagle that was nesting along our route.

The ride and river float were great! My rating comes from the ride back. Once finished, we had to wait 50 minutes for transport home. We had enough people waiting to fill 1/ 3 vans available and we still had to wait for other tours to finish, inefficient/frustrating. 30 minute trip turned 2.5 hours.

If you want to see the canyon by helicopter and are interested in rafting the Colorado river then take my advice and book this tour immediately.

Part one of tour operated by Five Star Helicopter Tours. A name change to one star would be our recommendation. They picked us up at hotel on time but then we waited 30 min for helicopter. Photo shoot - our faces were all in a shadow so of course we did not purchase same. Helicopter very tight fitting with Six passengers - really only comfort room for five we were not big. West canyon is not the best view - I suggest a bus tour to the south/north rim. Tour cut short by 15 min at canyon, plenty of time as the facilities at that rim are very basic._br/_ Colorado rafting trip run by Black Canyon was superb. Take a huge hat and wear lots sunscreen. It was a long very hot day. Our tour guide Brian was wonderful._br/_ To end the tour, it was Back to Five star terminal and 45 Minute wait to get taken back to hotel. Staff communication and care factor was 0/10. Our pilot was ok. To add to the disappointment we paid 135.00 AU extra as a so called fuel charge. USA citizens did not pay it. Fare comparison was the same. I suggest Viator that you find another helicopter company.

This was the most awesome experience. We booked the helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon and the River Raft down the Colorado. Alex was our pilot for the helicopter tour and he was awesome. Very informative. Even showed us Janet and #39;s Peak �. Jeff was our capitan for the Colorado River Tour and again very informative. We did not get to tour the Hoover Dam but I feel with all the info that Jeff gave and the view from the raft of the Dam that it was good enough. Hotel to airport/airport to hotel service was nice considering we did not rent a car. I highly recommend these tours to anyone thinking about doing it. Money well spent. Alex and Jeff thank you!!!!

Excellent day trip. The helicopter pilot was brilliant and very informative taking us over Hoover dam and the Grand Canyon. The float boat ride was also excellent. Brian the boat driver was very funny and had us all in stitches. If you are going to do this I would recommend you pack a raincoat. They gave us plastic ponchos but everyone's ripped in the wind so we still got wet, but it was loads of fun.

The Grand Canyon part was a disappointment, they didn't clearly explain how it would work, you only fly over you don't get to see from foot and you then spend 10 minutes in the shop but everyone left their bags in the helicopter because we didn't know what was happening.

Do this trip! See the Dam from the base, in a restricted area. Amazing views and great knowledge from the tour guide. Only add on needed is maybe the sky walk to see the Grand Canyon from the edge rather than the helicopter.

We had a great time rafting down the Colorado River along with the Helicopter flight through the Grand Canyon. We would recommend this day trip adventure to anyone. The price was more than reasonable, for what you experience! Keep in mind, the trip is a whole day so I would not make dinner reservations for that evening. Excellent!!!!!!!!!

The river float day trip was fabulous. Our guide was very friendly, informative, great sense of humour and very attentive to our needs. If you don't like getting wet don't do it but we absolutely loved it. The lunch provided was good and swimming in the Colerado fantastic._br/_ Helicopter ride was good but we were tired from the boat ride - I would recommend the helicopter first then the boat.

Well worth the money. You would never think this kind of stuff is in the United States. Very interesting and they never rushed when there was something to see they would turn the boat around. Helicopter ride was very good, the pilot was very friendly and informative. The river float was very good, here again knowledge of the area was give me and we were looked after re being kept hydrated in the heat. We would recommend to friends, only downside a bit of waiting time between tours, re transfers.

The helicopter portion of this tour was amazing pilot made us feel at ease and was very insightful. We were then transferred to another company for the rafting portion who seemed unorganised it took almost two hours of messing around before boat trip started which company tried to catch up by rushing
