just off the main drag and didn't meet our needs because of that.

Excellent, if you are in Vegas this is the best way to get up and down the strip

Monorail is great if you walk to far up or down the strip and it runs late but it is in the way back of hotels and not all the hotels have stops. the North end was a bit of walk to get to a hotel to get on. I wish I would have bought my tickets there I bought 2 day pass and only used 1 day. the other side of strip is all free to ride ram or monorail. but doesn't cover the entire strip.

This was great. I used the Monorail at least 10 times in my 2 days, between the Linq and the Convention Center. Easy access and right on time.

Perfect way to buy ticket before arriving and just scan at the monorail for the ticket. worked great!

Easy to use, but many stations are a LONG walk from the destinations they list. Be prepared for a hike- though 2-3 rides a day saves a lot over a cab

For those staying on Westgate is perfect... If not, RTC could be a better option.

Its speedy and clean and worth a try but to be honest if you are only going a short distance you are actually quicker walking because by the time you walk through the hotels to get to the monorail you could have walked to your destination. Only good thing is the AC in the hotels._br/_ Glad I tried it but wouldnt again if I went back probably

if you can make this work with your travels it is great! no lines. make sure to check the times they are open to redeem your voucher. you must have a live person to redeem.

Great way to get around. Love the Monorail.

A fun way to get around. Our hotel was between the MGM and Bally's, so we had to walk about 2 blocks to get to a station. But once we got our ticket validated, it was an easy way to get from one end of the strip to the other. It does not go all the way to Fremont Street, We knew that, so it wasn't a problem. Much faster than the bus.

Review by:   Anne C,    October 2017 Review: 4 star rating: Recommended
Monorails are paid for by the resorts so the stations are located AT THE BACK of the resort. This means you have to walk THRU the resorts to get to the strip. Very quick and convenient once you get the hang of it.

I had bought a monorail pass, however the ticket booth at the far end at was not open at 09:00 to redeem my email confirmation to a full working pass. I bought a ticket from the automated booth. When the person manned booth opened they reimbursed me immediately for the extra ticket I had to buy. Excellent service and sooo convienent to get up and down the strip in style.

Bought a 3 day ticket. Only used twice as wasn't near enough to the places we wanted to go._br/_ Used the buses instead which were great.

Found it an easy way to navigate The Strip. Frequent and uncrowded. We were at Excalibur and thought it would be a short walk to MGM but do not underestimate the sheer size of these Hotels. It took us about 10 minutes from Excalibur to MGM and then 15 minutes from entering MGM to get to the other side of the hotel and onto the Monorail. So you need to factor in this time when planning your day's activities. From SLS it is also about a 10 to 15 walk through the hotel to the bus stop for the horrid Fremont Street really wish we hadn't bothered going there!! You cannot get to Fremont Street from the Monorail. You need to get the bus from SLS. I am so glad I used the Monorail as you are facing huge crowds on The Strip, slowing down you walking time no end and The Monorail is totally uncrowded.

Cheap, clean, and fast make this the best way to nip from resort to resort along the Las Vegas Strip! I only wish they had one on the other side of the road it was that good!!!

Worth it. Saves you a lot of money for unlimited usage if your hotel is on the Strip, since every individual ride costs like 5.

If you are going to be traveling around the strip a lot, it is well worth it. We were in Vegas for a week and had planned on checking out all the different hotel themes. Even though many of the hotels appear very close and well within walking distance, it can be very deceiving and can use up a lot of valuable time just getting from one end of the strip to the other. We opted for the 7 day pass and did not regret it. Used it several times every day we were in town. Would definitely recommend.

It was great not too walk everywhere, but it is a short monorail and it could be a little bit more convenient to find the stations to get on and off the monorail

Review by:   Amanda D,    March 2017 Review: 1 star rating: I do not recommend this
Pointless. The bus is a better and cheaper way

I can't speak for this Booking as both me and my wife were sick the day we booked it. It's not their fault but the Monorail goes in the back of a few major Casinos along the strip. We loved our entire week in Vegas, you need to go!

Review by:   Lynn H,    February 2017 Review: 4 star rating: Recommended
The Monorail is a great addition to Las Vegas. It offers 7 stops. What you need to know, however, is that if you buy your tickets in advance, you may have to hike a bit to find an open ticket booth with a live person to redeem your vouchers. I was staying by the Convention Center, and I guess since there was no convention the day I arrived, the ticket booth was closed and I had to walk more than a half mile to the next location. At the Westgate, I found the ticket booth closed also, then saw a sign not on the booth directing me to go inside the Westgate Hotel to redeem my vouches. Whew! If you buy on site, they cost a little bit more, you can buy at a kiosk with credit card at any of the seven locations. Also, it would be good to know that when you buy a 2 day ticket, that the 2 days begins with the first time you activate your ticket and the clock ticks for 24 hours. I bought a 3 day ticket in advance 26 and actually only used it for less than 48 hours, spread across a Thurs/Fri/Sat. Would have saved money if that had been explained anywhere. The Monorail sites are located nearby a casino or the convention center and the convenience is much better than using taxis, but put on your walking shoes cause each site offers you about 7 hotels/casinos close by but nothing is close. Most stops are on one end of a casino, and the signage is variable to find them. But still a great way to get around the Strip!

Review by:   Barbara C,    February 2017 Review: 2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better
The monorail was great for the Thursday but we wanted to use it Thursday and Sunday and they would not allow 2 days that were not in a row!! So a whole day was wasted as we had other plans for the Friday and were not able to use the monorail. WE though it was for any 2 days NOT 2 days in a row.

Review by:   Jennifer D,    February 2017 Review: 3 star rating: Worth doing
Really not worth it unless you are staying at a hotel where one of the stops are. We stayed at Treasure Island and was a 15 minute walk to the closest stop. You are better off taking the bus or just walking to where you want to be.

Monorail was very helpful in traveling the casinos in Las Vegas. Had to walk through casinos and underpasses to get to it so was initially difficult but, once got used to system one trip really, everything worked well. would use it again.

Review by:   Brian C,    January 2017 Review: 4 star rating: Recommended
Handy.. but I would buy a trip ticket each time rather than a three or four day pass. We chose to walk more often than we thought we might so the pass was a bit of a waste.

We had a day ticket and wandered up and down the line getting off at places and then on again. It gave us a better idea of the layout of the area.

it made it very easy to move between casinos. The only problem was the long walks and the steps to climb because the escalators were not working.

AVOIDS TRAFFIC ON STRIP, BUT THE DISTANCE BETWEEN STRIP AND STATIONS MAKE IT HARD IF YOU HAVE DIFFICULTY GETTIG AROUND.
