Morning Maverick Horseback Ride with Breakfast

Las Vegas, United States of America

Wake up bright and early for a horseback ride through the Wild West! Leave the Las Vegas Strip behind for a day on a working ranch - where you will dine on a hearty cowboy breakfast before saddling up for scenic and leisurely horseback ride.

Your friendly and knowledgeable driver will pick you up from select Las Vegas Strip hotels for the 30-minute ride to the ranch at Red Rock National Park, surrounded by stunning red rock mountains and desert.

Upon arrival, dine on an authentic western-style breakfast, including pancakes, choice of bacon, sausage or ham, hash browns, eggs, toast, coffee and orange juice. Enjoy the peace and serenity of the majestic mountain surrounds as the horses are prepared for the trail ride.

Your wranglers will match you with the perfect horse for your ride. All the horses are friendly and tame - perfect for all riding levels. Ride along the same trails used by some of the most infamous outlaws of the American West. The ride is approximately 1 hour.

Keep your camera handy to catch cattle and horses grazing nearby, and if you have a keen eye, you may spot big horn sheep, road runners and jack rabbits.

After your ride, head over to the cowboy town and petting zoo, before being returned to your hotel with plenty of time left in the day to see more of the sights of Las Vegas.

Please Note: This is a single file trail ride. Due to safety regulations, guests are not allowed to run or gallop the horses on the trail.

My experience was totally awesome. This was my first horseback riding adventure and the ranchers made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend this to anyone.

One of the best tours I have taken. Me and my girl chose the morning ride at 9:00am before the weather was too hot. The instructors were great and the horses were wonderful. You did not have to do too much with them, as they already knew what to do and where to go. You also don't need to be an experienced horse rider to join this tour. The views were amazing and we were able to take pictures on our 1 hour ride. After the ride, we ate breakfast and then visited a small petting zoo. I would highly recommend this tour.

A morning maverick ride around Red Rock Canyon was our first excursion in Las Vegas and was by far one of the best! It was such a tranquil experience and even though I had never rode before, the wranglers made me feel very at ease and I would be more than happy to ride again some day. The views and surroundings were lovely and it really took you away from the hustle and bustle of the Vegas Strip. The western-style breakfast after the ride was fantastic and really set us up for the rest of the day. We even had some time to visit the cowboy town and petting zoo before we left which was another nice surprise. This is a must-do experience and if I ever visit Vegas again I will definitely be doing the evening horseback ride!

If you want to get up close to the beautiful Red Rock canyon mountain range then this is the best thing for it. Right from pickup to saddle-up this is a great experience and breakfast after was delicious. If you are lucky enough to get James as your driver then you are in for a real fun time! James was also kind enough to drop me at my Airbnb - very much appreciated!!_br/_ The only thing I didn't really like was the petting zoo, while is was nice to have the opportunity to see the animals, and I know they were well cared for, I personally don't like to see wild animals in a cage. However, the sheep, chickens and deer will be a treat for kids._br/_ So even if you haven't ridden a horse at all, the wranglers at Bonnie Springs ranch look after you well. _br/_ Totally recommend this if you are wanting a morning activity.

The views were amazing and the guides very knowledgabke and focused on rider safety. The horses are ‘strong horses’ and require little from the rider other than the ability to stay seated. Experienced or semi-experienced riders will not be challenged. Breakfast afterwards was tasty and plentiful

Really Great tour - the cowboys, sorry wranglers were really nice and friendly and helpful. Never been on a horse before but was surprisingly easy with a good horse. The scenery really makes you feel like you and in the Wild West, despite being so close to Las Vegas!

I did this tour maybe a year or two ago. So some things may have changed but this is my experience. Upon arriving I was nervous as I have never ridden on a horse before and I informed the tour guides this. They told me that this was common as well as riders who could not speak English. After a very quick run through of instructions about riding the horses in English we set off on our horses. During the ride we stopped along the trail for photos and as we were lining up on the horses for the shot, one lady was having an issue with her horse. One of the tour guides immediately went over and tried to help, yelling at the rider to say whoa and not to pull back on the reigns as it was causing the horse to go back onto it's hind legs. The rider repeatedly told her she could not understand her. thankfully, in the end no one was hurt. All I can relay is my perspective. I don't recall seeing any cards in other languages as I didn't need to because I spoke English. I just believe as they said they dealt with people from all over the country and all levels of riders this was poorly handled. The rider was upset and if that were me, I would be as well.

Outstanding time! Ticket includes being picked up at your hotel. Ticket states you need to call the day before, but they called us unprompted. The van picked up 5 couples along the strip and then headed to the ranch -- about a 30 min drive. We went on Nov 3rd and while it was warm in Vegas, the temperature dropped a lot out at the ranch. Be sure to wear long pants e.g., legs will hit cactus and note it will be much cooler than Vegas temps everyone in our group needed jackets. No riding experience needed -- first time I was on a horse...and no problem. You load the horse with their assistance from a loading stand. Trail is about an hour long. They'll stop about half-way and use your camera to take your picture. Guides are entertaining and watching the group the whole time. As I was on EST, I chose to go with lunch vs breakfast for my meal -- got a hamburger/fries/drink, which was good. They seem to really care about the horses, which are well behaved. Had a great time!

A short drive from the strip and you'd think you were on a different planet, so peaceful and beautiful. Breakfast was good especially the pancakes and crispy bacon. Horses very well behaved and just follow esch other along the trail. The Cowboys on the ranch were great and explained about safety and do,s and don't,s before taking us out. Told us lots of interesting facts along the trail and took photos for us on our horses. Had a totally chilled out time and would recommend this to anyone.

It's been about 50 years since I have ridden a horse. I was a bit apprehensive. I had been reading up about new riders in articles on the Internet, so I was prepared as I could be. The staff here were very polite and matched each of us with horses that were most suitable._br/_ Mine was Roxy, who is a natural redhead. The more I petted her neck and said her name, the less fearful I was. There were 4 couples and I was a single. So there were 3 ranch hands escorting us. Corny jokes, but good historical information. After our ride about an hour long, we went back to the stables. I felt on top of the world! I didn't want the experience to end! The hands took care of everything. They even took photos of us individually with our own cell phones. The riders went inside the restaurant/bar for a hearty meal. Having spent 3 days in Las Vegas casinos and such, this outdoor excursion was a highlight. I can recommend 100. And to be sure, I will return...

My husband was not thrilled about trying this but did it because I wanted to. By the end of the ride he was talking about doing it again next year! The horses were gentle and well taken care of which is important to me. Our driver James was the best. He is knowledgeable of the area and all around personable. He made the trip to and from the ranch entertaining. The scenery was beautiful and I was in awe of mountains, we do not get to see that in NJ! We visited the petting zoo and got to feed and pet the animals, some of whom were rescued, and they are very well taken care of. You can see that the employees care about the animals. If you are looking for an entertaining day out, I highly recommend you try this!

We didn't actually do the morni g one as it was fully booked, however as they had taken the booking and paid for it fair play they offered the sunset ride with dinner at no extra cost. This was one of my highlights of vegas without a doubt , James who drive and cooked was the best and Caeser was fab

My boyfriend, two friends and myself could not have been happier with our horseback riding experience at Bonnie Springs Ranch in Red Rock Canyon. It started off with a smooth and lightly comedic drive by John, followed with an hour horseback ride through the breathtaking trail of Red Rock Canyon, and ended with a delicious American breakfast. We will recommend this experience to all of our family and friends, it's a once in a lifetime experience, especially for those who live in the city or east coast suburbs like me :

Amazing!!! We are a family of 5. We were in Vegas for my youngest daughters 21st birthday. The views were incredible, Steve and Chris were great guides. The horses were great and knew the trails. Breakfast delicious. The animals in the zoo/petting farm were adorable. All the help were friendly and took time to talk and answer questions. The whole day was fabulous. Will definitely be back next time we visit Vegas!!!

Arrived at the ranch where we were sized up with our horses,a little safety and form signing,we was on our way through the rough but easy trail and our guides. A lovely casual ride with a photo pause for you. An little more than an hour we returned back at the ranch for a good breakfast all in. A tip, take a hat for your ride. If you haven't rode before, this is the opportunity.

Wonderful breakfast to start the day! Our group was the first pick up, about 7:15am, so we were in the shuttle for a while over an hour total, but we were dropped off first. Gorgeous weather, knowledgeable and personable guides. One in our group had never ridden a horse before and did great! The wranglers do a great job of putting you with the right horse. Many good picture spots. It was a great adventure and highly recommended! Be sure to head the instructions of wearing closed toed shoes, you should also wear pants, a hat, and use sunscreen.

The staff here is amazing and our trail guides were fantastic -- knowledgeable and helpful with the horses for those with all levels of experience. The horses were in great condition and are clearly given enough rest in between tours and are well taken care of by the staff. The food was delicious. You can't beat the views and the landscape is simply gorgeous. The only downside was the petting zoo -- I could have done without that part of the experience but it was good to have something to kill time before the shuttle ride back.

I really want to give this 5 stars!! The horseback riding part was fantastic. They staff was wonderful, the horses amazing and seemingly well taken care of. The grounds are beautiful and the ride through the canyon was wonderful. The biggest reason I am only giving this 4 stars is because I feel the description of the breakfast is misleading. I have been on horseback riding tours before where they prepared breakfast outside on an open campfire. When they described this in the ad they say you can enjoy an western style breakfast in Red Rock Canyon. Maybe I interpreted this wrong? But, I think they should say it is a meal in their restaurant. Also, it wasn't breakfast on the front end of the tour. You go on the tour first and when you get back, you go into their restaurant and order either breakfast or lunch. The restaurant is decent and so is the food, but I just felt a little disappointed.

We were the first pick-up at our hotel nice touch since we stayed a few blocks off the Strip in Las Vegas at 7:10am, after which we made a few more stops and travelled to Bonnie Springs Ranch, arriving at about 8:30am. We received a quick, friendly tutorial on horseback riding the first-timer was a bit worried about all the instructions, but for no reason -- the horses are all on auto-pilot!. We rode, single-file, through Red Rocks National Conservation Area, for an hour. The Bonnie Springs Ranch is privately-owned only such property in the Canyon and the wranglers who accompanied us on our ride provided a running narrative about the ranch and the canyon. We stopped at about the half-way point and the wranglers took photos with our cameras -- nice touch! After the ride, at 10:30 am, we had a choice of breakfast or lunch at the restaurant. We chose the pulled chicken sandwich with fries/coleslaw -- huge portion and 3-star quality -- no complaints. After that, we had an hour to tour the petting zoo goats, llama, peacocks, turtles, cavy, miniature horses, etc. and wild West town, complete with melodrama gun-fight and train ride, before hopping back in the van for our return to Vegas. We were back at our hotel first on/last off around 12:30pm. Both the first-timer and the more experienced rider were thoroughly pleased with the experience!

After getting picked up from the hotel it was about a 45-50 minute ride to the ranch. The driver gave us history of places along the ride that was very interesting. When we got to the ranch we had a good breakfast in the tavern. Then had about 45-60 minutes to tour the ranch, see all of the animals and hear some good stories about the ranch and it's owner. Then our group got saddled up and headed out for the tour. We followed our rancher single file on the trail with another rancher following up group. They also gave us history and facts about the wildlife in the area. The tour lasted about an hour and the views are amazing. All of the horses were very well taken care of and well behaved. Once we got back to the ranch we loaded up in the van and headed back to Las Vegas. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone. Even if you've never riden a horse you would be fine and have an amazing experience. All of the employees we very nice, had good senses of humor, and made us laugh a lot. Next time we're going to do the Sunset tour with the steak dinner after. Can't wait!!

This was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The one thing that drew me to this, other than the horseback riding, is that it is all inclusive. From picking me up at the hotel to dropping me back off later, everything was taken care of and the only thing I had to do was enjoy it!!! I was picked up promptly at the hotel in my time slot, and the drive to the ranch watching the mountains grow larger as we drove was not long at all. _br/_ We got a brief lesson in riding and the next thing I knew we were on our horses heading for the mountains on the trail. The horses that we rode were all well behaved and very well taken care of-something that is important to me. My horse even had a sun bonnet on to protect her face from the sun...! I It is very important to me that in a business like this that the animals are the number one priority and you can clearly tell that they get taken care of very well._br/_ The ride was incredible, we rode on a winding trail through the hills and beside the mountain. I picked the morning ride, and watching the sun start shining on the colors in the mountains was amazing to see. I live in Florida so don't see many mountains here..! I love the fact that they do take our pictures so we will have memories of the trip to share with others. _br/_ Once back to the ranch we enjoyed our breakfast and then had time to go through the petting zoo and the shops. They have a different assortment of animals in the zoo to see and enjoy. We were given plenty of time to take in the sights before we were driven back to our hotels._br/_ I would highly recommend this adventure, even if you have never ridden a horse before-these animals are push button driven, and you will certainly enjoy the view. On my next trip back to Las Vegas I will certainly be doing this ride again! Thank you everyone at the ranch, you are amazing.

I had such a wonderful time! The views are amazing. We saw a mother deer with her baby, a wild burro, lots of desert vegetation, and those mountains! Gorgeous. Our guides were fun and informative as well as very attentive to those on the ride. My thighs were a bit sore the next day, but it was sooooo worth it!! I will be back!
