Take an exhilarating shake, rattle and roll tour of the Nellis Dunes by dune buggy from Las Vegas. You'll feel the wind in your face as you traverse dry river beds, soar over sand dunes and experience the desert scenery like never before.
On your dune buggy visit to the Nellis Dunes you will stop at Look Out Dune and Rattle Snake Cliffs. You'll be able to see the Las Vegas Strip clearly, as well as Lake Mead off in the distance. If you wish, your guide will take you to the Sony Motorstorm course and guide you through a lap.
If you have a nice camera don't bring it! A disposable camera is a much better idea!
All buggies are custom built for the rugged Nevada terrain, and come equipped with roll cages, seatbelts, helmets and goggles for your safety. The buggies are similar to your regular car - with a steering wheel, brake pedal, and gas pedal. It's your responsibility to operate the vehicle safely.
Please Note: If you book a 2-seater buggy with an odd number of passengers you'll receive a 1-seat buggy for the additional passenger. The price displayed is a per person rate. Your total tour duration includes hotel pickup and drop-off. Your total ride time is approximately 30-minutes. You will not be able to switch drivers during this tour. If each passenger wishes to drive, you must book two (2) buggies.
I would have liked a little more dunes driving. The road to the dunes was exhilarating.

This was the best thing we did in Vegas!! The best thing ever, we loved every minute of this trip. We got picked up and was taken to get our safety equipment. All the staff was fab! Everyone from the young lady driving us from the hotel, to the people at the reception to the guys at the buggy's themselves and our tour guide was FAB. Me and my partner got stuck a couple of times on the hills and he was so quick to realise and was there instantly! Big thanks to him and the team making this experience amazing!

Excellent fun - so exhilarating - true adrenaline rush! Guides all so friendly - driver was even early to pick us up on the day! Handing out free bottled water the whole trip and even gave you a free digital photo of your group. I would love to go again! Highly recommending anyone to try this!

This was the second time my brothers and I took this tour and it was even better than the first! We had a great time and our guide was great. Knowing we had done it before, he ask that "since this is a chase" would you like me to just let 'er rip? We of course agreed! Aside from a mechanical problem on one buggy near the end of the run (he, they're dune buggies and get abuse) we had an amazing run and will do it again next year. Gotta admit, though, the body does take a beating!!! Worth every penny!!!!!

The Nellis Dune Buggy ride was a great way to do something special with my son. It was a blast! The tour guides were so extremely helpful, fun, and very nice. I would recommend bringing a pair of gloves if you are driving, as for my hands got some blister’s from trying to handle the wheel, but well worth it. This is definitely an exciting memory that we will never forget!!

We loved the dune buggies, it was fabulous, but the only thing we were not too happy about is that we paid for 4 people for the 45 min pkg and when we got the confirmation form Viator it stated that we only paid for the 1/2 hour so we had to deal with that and get it straightened out, was we shouldn't of had to do. Besides that it was great.

This trip was a lot of fun but did not seem worth the amount of money I paid. It was really expensive and we only got 30 mins. of fun on the dunes. The dunes were incredible and it was an experience that I am glad we got to have. Many of the young men working there seemed really bored like they did not want to be there . They kept getting annoyed that I wanted to take pictures too- this was frustrating since it was my husband's birthday gift and I wanted to take many photos.

It was awesome!!! This tour is definitely not for the faint at heart. You are moving so fast going up and down hills. The wind is just blowing in your face. I personality did not drive but it was great riding passenger. Some of the hills were so high!!! Over all the tour guides and the trials were awesome. They know the trails like the back of their hand. I would do it again in a heart beat.
