The canyons and ranch were beautiful. Too much time was spent at the Welcome to Las Vegas sign at the beginning of the tour. I would eliminate this as it took away time that could have been better spent in nature. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and if he'd omit all of the sexist comments I'd give him a great rating. But he made too many to overlook. The lunch was a disappointment. I'd be willing to pay more for better food, although the extra cost for the box lunch was more than I would have paid if I knew exactly what we were getting.

Loved our tour of the Red Rock Canyon! It was a nice warm day with a good breeze to help cool off. We were picked up first at The Mirage Hotel. Drove to a few other hotels and picked up 12 more. It was nice to relax and let someone else do the driving! Our driver and tour guide was Ted. He was very friendly and interesting and informative. I was hoping i would get to do a little bit of walking/hiking and climbing around on the beautiful red rocks, and this was true! We stopped at several locations along the way where we did get out and walk around. Took many pictures, this area is very beautiful!! We had a nice lunch with very beautiful views at the Springs ranch. Overall a lovely day quite out of the ordinary!!

Great tour. We thought the canyon would be great, it was more impressive than we thought, picture’s were really good and it was fun climbing all around. Driver shared a lot of info. It was perfect for a quick adventure away from the strip. The only fault was a lady kept accepting calls, couldn’t hear

We had a wonderful time on our tour of Red Rock Canyon! Even though the weather was not perfect, Allen, our tour guide was great and made the day wonderful! Tremendous views, a lot of new information and interesting facts made the trip a great experience. The only thing lacking was some wildlife, but its probably difficult to get wild burros to do what they are told. Highly recommend this excursion!

The tour was informative,It was a nice experience, I would have given higher stars except the tour guide forgot to drop us off at our hotel, then seemed to get put off when we didn't want to wait until everyone else was dropped off,a spoiler for an otherwise, enjoyable tour, the guide was knowledgeable. I learned a lot about the red rock canyon, gave us plenty of time to take pictures. He gave us information about Las Vegas too. He even gave us information on future tours.

Excellent tour! Our tour guide, Adam, was both informative and entertaining. The only thing I would change is to have lunch in an indoor location. The winds were cold which made for a very uncomfortable lunch.

This was an awesome tour, just outside Las Vegas, so it doesnt take all day! The tour guide, Ralph, was extremely knowledgeable and added insight into the formation of Red Rock Canyon And the history of the land, as well as history of Las Vegas itself. He was very flexible as far as the schedule went, he allowed as much time as needed at most of the stops, so we could explore and adventure as much as we wanted. The scenic overlooks are breath taking, the mountains are just fabulous here. I recommend the trip to anyone who has an afternoon to enjoy!
Review by: Stan C, February 2018
Red Rock Canyon is a wonderful trip to take. The guide was great as well as the driver. The only negative was that the tour started late since there were 25 people on the trip who had to be picked up at 10-12 different hotels. The company should have sent two different shuttles out to handle this chore. They did on the way back. Otherwise, a trip worth going on. Jack the tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative. Driver Bob did a great job handling he driving.

This tour was more than I expected! Jack, our guide, was very knowledgeable about area and history. Very friendly, and kept us entertained with his talks. He really tried to give us a great experience. Everything right on time. After we picked everyone up, 12 of us, we made about 6 stops. 3 lookouts, visitor center, a short hike to see a natural springs, and ended the day at a ranch for our picnic lunch, and tour of the Ranch. We didn't see any wild life, but the canyon was beautiful! It was never boring, just a fun relaxing day.

When visiting Las Vegas, if you don't have a car but want to get outside the city and see what some of the surrounding, natural area looks like, I'd recommend this trip to Red Rock Canyon. At your first stop at the Visitor Center, there are extensive and interesting exhibits out back, so while you'll want to spend some time in the gift shop, make sure you give yourself enough time to see the exhibits, too. From there, it's a comfortable ride through the park on paved roads, with stops at several stunning viewpoints.

An easy way to see the sights. Alan was our tour driver and was a wealth of knowledge of the area and history. He made sure that we got to see the as much as we could on our tour and recommended places in Red Rock Canyon to come back and explore. We had a boxed lunch at the Spring Mountain Ranch, what a view! This was a relaxing day in a beautiful area. It was great to be picked up and dropped off at our hotel. Thank you Alan and Viator!

A must see to understand the history and beginning of the Las Vegas area! Casino Travel and Tours provided a brand new bus with device charging at all the seats and our tour guide Adam who is an expert photographer and will take wonderful pictures of you and your party was knowledgeable, personable and organized. The staff at Casino Travel and Tours are so very accomodating and even picked us up at our timeshare in a shuttle to join the main tour bus rather than have us walking to a major hotel! Kudos to Adam and driver Joshua for a very educational, fun tour!

A boxed lunch is provided for the six hour tour.

Review by: Cheryl D, December 2017
Red Rock Canyon is a pretty place but seemed a bit smaller than I imagined it would be. But let's start out by saying that we were picked up by a small van who zipped around to a few hotels, driving over speed bumps quickly enough to make my body jump out of the seat, to be taken to another large bus to join the rest of the group. Our tour guide seemed like a nice person but not a good tour guide..She kept repeating the same facts over and over. Her redundancy made for a very boring trip. She told us that the one stop would include local animals but don't worry, they'll be in cages. The animals turned out to be one tortoise who was hiding somewhere in an enclosure, or so we were told, as we never saw him. When we proceeded to go to the last stop on the tour, which was a ranch where we were supposed to eat lunch, we found the attraction closed You could tell that she felt badly as she had not been aware that we would be locked out nor did anyone else in the company she worked for know about this when she called them. She and the bus driver came up with an alternate place where we could get out of the bus to sit at tables to eat. I was thankful, at least, for this.Upon returning to Vegas we dropped people at a couple hotels then were made to get off the bus at the hotel right across the street from our hotel to get on a shuttle bus to drive us to our hotel. As we were walking to the shuttle bus some of the other passengers were grumbling that this was the worst tour they had ever been on.There were 4 or 5 other people on the shuttle bus with us and when the shuttle driver asked us if we had a good tour, no one said a word, there was total silence. I felt bad that no one could even say a word so I made an excuse for us and said we were all just tired after a long day. i found myself wishing that we had rented a car and driven there ourselves. I have been on other Viator tours which were great but not this one.

This tour was easy to book, I was conveniently picked up at my hotel and the cost is reasonable. The tour guide was excellent and enthusiastic. Ronnie went the extra mile and took us to a ranch for our picnic lunch. Very nice and a fascinating tour of the historical ranch. The views were beyond words. Breathtaking to the senses. I highly recommend.

The tour company did a good job with what they had to work, We had just completed a tour of Grand, Bryce, and Zion Canyons, so Red Rock Canyon was somewhat underwhelming. A very comfortable coach, good box lunch, and good tour guide. We have done RRC twice: once by bicycle and this time by coach. We won't be doing it a third time.

Jack is an awesome guide and a great guy. He made the tour a lot of fun and made all of us very confortable and relaxed. Red Rock Canyon is astounding, especially for someone like me who had never seen this kind of desert before. Spring Mountain Ranch was also particularly beautiful and interesting. I would strongly recommend this tour, it takes only half of your day and it's well worth it!

What a wonderful tour. I received a call the morning of, letting me know my guide would be Skip, where at my hotel he would be picking me up and that he would be running about 15 minutes behind. He actually arrived on right on time. He was pleasant and professional with a wealth of Vegas history and trivia. Our tour group consisted of 11 people and he made point remembering each of us by where we were from. He entertained us with his jokes and knowledge of the area all the way to the canyon and back, making the trip a truly enjoyable experience. Keep in mind none of what I have described so far is the actual tour which was itself spectacular. Our 13 mile trek through the winding roads of the canyon and park was breathtakingly beautiful and again it was enhanced by Skip's knowledge and wit. This tour was totally worth it. We were never rushed and always had plenty of time for photos. If you visit Vegas, the Red Rock Canyon is a must see and Skip is a terrific guide.

The tour to the Red Rocks was really interesting! The landscape is beautiful. _br/_ Our tourguide, Jack, took us to about 6 different stops within the area. At each stop we were given some time to explore. _br/_ After the pickup from the hotel it took about 45 minutes to get to the Red Rocks. Unfortunately we did not see any animals, but the landscape was great._br/_ After some hours we went to a ranch. There we had lunch which consisted of a sandwich, cookies and potato chips and walked around the building. This part would have been left out in the express tour. Personally, I think the ranch is nice to see, but it is not necessarily bad to leave it out. _br/_ On the way back to Vegas we drove through a very small and charming village.
